I bought a Holiday Harvest Hoagie today. The cashier Joel started to inspect it. I thought he was missing the barcode. But he was looking over the sandwich and expiration date because the bread had some odd speckles. He wasn't sure if it was expired. The date was the same day which is still good. It was a "signature stuffing roll" according to the ingredient description. So I imagine it has herbs and $h1# up in there. But I appreciate his caution and concern. Not many people would risk slowing down the line and pay that much attention to the customers purchase. So I appreciate his careful, thoughtful, and alert nature. I ate the sandwich and lived to write about it. I didn't get sick at all. It was fine. The staff here are friendly, helpful, and professional despite what some of these other people say. I never had any issues. UPDATE: I'm including the cashier Mani in on this review. He also looked over my sandwich to make sure it wasn't spoiled. The Holiday Harvest Hoagie has dark stuffing herbs in the bread that makes it look spoiled. So I go off the expiration date. But I'm glad the staff is looking out for their customer's well being. read more

Watch your money here when paying. They short charge you! Stopped in for a Monster and gave him $20, he hands me back $5!! Then my cousin was up next. I stepped outside and she came out saying she gave the guy $50 for her $8 total and he handed her $10!! read more

This gas is usually cheaper in the area so I stop here when I can and pay cash. The attendants are friendly and accurate. I went in for Halloween and once they saw my costume, they gave me candy. It put a smile on my face as it was not expected. read more

Came in here to get gas and a snack one of the employee was sweeping when we came in, we decided to get a hot dog and they ran out of hotdogs buns so my fiance told the guy at the register and the guy at the register called the guy who was sweeping and gave him a box with the buns my fiance notice that the employee that was putting the buns grab is stuff and continue to put the buns my fiance told the employee next time u need to wash your hands and the employee said the buns are in a bag like germs don't spread if someone touches the bag to get the buns, clearly they don't have standards and the 7 11 which sucks cuz they do have good gas prices. My mom always puts gas in this station: She hardly speaks English but tried her best , the person that helped her did not speak any Spanish but with signs and broken English she asked to get $40 dlls on #5 pump. however, this was put on #4 ... when she came back inside and asked again to be #5 , she was told by a very rude man who did speak Spanish that somebody else had already took her gas. #1 How did they add $40 to one that was already filling? your system lets you add gas to an existing purchase? #2 how did the non speaking person understood "forty" but not "five", i have the receipt if needed The non-speaking man was extremely rude , arrogant and discriminant towards her. I can actually say he was racist, when he said " it is not our fault she doesn't understand English" when he is completely fluent in Spanish. We are not asking for the money , per the employee it is 7 eleven policy that they are not responsible and his words "do what you gotta do its not our problem", can keep the $40 dlls , but i do want for this man to offer an apology to her , he yelled at her in front of the other customer when she complain about them not putting the 40 in the right pump a man helped her translate because he REFUSED to talk to her in Spanish. this is robbery , not because of the amount but because he took advantage that she was by her self and couldn't defend herself. When i called to asked them about this , he treated me like he treated her , and said he had a recording on her asking for #4 which of course its not the case but even if he did or does he had no right to treat anyone like that, so i am asking you to please take action on this . I stopped in for a sausage biscuit which was $1.99. I was charged $2.68. Not sure what tax rate this 7-11 follows but I'm pretty sure that it's more than the 8% in San Diego County. I told the guy behind the counter that it can't be $2.68. He replied, "that's what it says." Complete disregard for logic. I have had similar experiences with this store before. I am not a Yelper but I just signed up to write this review. This store is engaged in illegal pricing. Steer way clear of this 7-11. read more

This place does not follow CDC COVID Guidelines and Procedures. Employees do not wear face coverings , and they do not enforce face covering on customers as issued by the State of CA. Also it's very dirty inside. read more

There a so many 7-11's in the San Diego area but this one is by far one of my favorite to go to. The staff is friendly, kind and always helpful and talkative. Most 7-11 employees give you quick answers so you can leave but the staff here don't mind a conversation. The store is always clean and kept fully stocked. And I'm super glad the fixed the pumps for gas because no other gas station near this one gives low prices on gas. I come here every other day since I my job is a couple miles away so I'm here enough to see the good and very little to no bad. Its that good! read more

Service has really dropped off. You know that feeling staff can give you when it's like they're doing you a favor just by being there, or they'll assist you when they're done with their little chitty chat? Ick. Coffee's not worth it, and gas is way cheaper a block west up the street. read more

Not a mom friendly gas station This 7 eleven only give you 2 min to start pumping gas or it resets itself and you have to go back inside....so if you have kids you don't have time to strap them in the carseat for their safety.... I guess they want kids running in between the cars and gas. read more

This spot has the best coffee on the otay mesa stretch of road. They have iced coffee as cheap as a buck which is just as tasty as the Starbucks stuff a block away (which runs 3 times the price there). Gas is pretty cheap here as well compared to the other gas stations in this area. Sometimes though this store sorta smells like throw up. read more

Why would 7-Eleven charge a1.65 for a refill of coffee? Every other 7-Eleven across San Diego County charge maybe $1.39 some are still a dollar. If you bring your own cup the price should be different. I'm better off buying a large at Starbucks and spend 75 more cents. Just horrible read more

My mother fell at the this location Sunday Morning 10/18/2020. Theyre is bunch of boxes on the floor some that are hidden after each corner dont know why that is something dangerous!!!! They're was 2 new cashiers at the time and NO MANAGER/SUPERVISOR in the location!!! That they have gone out to grab change. They did not know how to do a Report and waited there for about 45 min. NO answer!! and then went back inside to ask at what time is the MANAGER/SUPERVISOR coming back and the cashier said that MANAGER/SUPERVISOR stopped answering the phone. Left my information and never got back to me. Went in 10/20/2020 and spoke to one of the Managers (polite and professional) and gave me the managers information. Called the Owner (Candy) 10/21/2020 finally answered told her that I wanted to talk in a civil matter and she was polite and professional but towards the end she was not . Asked her just for the video of the moment my mother (65 year old) and told me that is property of 7 ELEVEN and that no one can see it. And told me that NO MANAGER/SUPERVISOR has to be at the location 24/7. UPDATE!!: Once she saw the camera she did not offer not even to pay for her copay for the emergency room that was clearly caused from them and theirs laziness to not go and restock that's why they had boxes on the floor with merchandise. This use to be one of the nicest, cleanest, well run 7-11's I had ever patronized. Most convenience stores are quick in and out and you don't really think much about them - but this store use to really impress me with how clean it always was. In the last year they obviously changed owners and it has turned into one of the dirtiest and worst run 7-11's and as much as I use to be impressed, I am now equally grossed out and disgusted. Floor always so dirty and sticky that I'm afraid to get back in my car with my shoes, soda machine always disgusting and dripping with dumped over sodas, hot foods (when they aren't out of them!) that are burnt and so dry that I think they had sat out for 2 or 3 days. Constantly out of supplies and condiments such as cups, straws, lids, ketchup, hot foods - not just once or twice, but regularly! How do you run out of soda cups or lids or hot foods etc when they are one of the biggest draws in your store? Multiple times I have gone in and music is blaring loud with explicit lyrics. Unfortunately it is the closest one to my work and I don't have any other choices close by so I just deal with it! read more

This is our favorite 7-11 to come to! The food & coffee are always fresh and the staff is very friendly! They are always great with my 8 year old son. He loves coming here because there are never any issues with the Slurpee machine (which always happens at our other 7-11's in Chula Vista..) This is always a great choice for a healthier lunch in the Otay Mesa area, too! Highly recommended! read more
