The team was super friendly, personable, patient with our questions, and accommodating of our customization requests. We ordered iced hojicha tea lattes. I got it with oat milk, my spouse got it with half and half. I think it is pretty rare for non-Asian places to have hojicha! It was good! We want to come back and try other items. You stand in line to order at a counter but I think you can also order online. I love how there is an option to order "for here". We got a # to take to our seat and they delivered our drinks to the table directly. And in glass (for cold drinks)! No plastic! Huge differentiator! There was seating inside and outside. Inside felt bustling and jovial. Outside felt a bit more relaxed and less loud. The tables are pretty close together but still nice to have casual conversation. I loved sitting outside! It was relatively shaded and warm. This is a gem! We look forward to returning soon.

Needlessly to say, we were beyond stuffed by the end, even after opting to take most of the desserts to go. The tea selection was very nice as well--I just opted for the English Breakfast, in keeping with my preference for picking the most coffee-like tea. Our server did an amazing job, even though it seemed like she was the only one serving the entire packed place! My friends and I had a wonderful time, and I'd love to come back again.

The checkout people are always friendly and my kids even love coming for the free lollipops after finding the hidden horse. If you have any questions about the new products they always do their best to help. This is one grocery store I feel like I leave in a better mood than when I came lol! Grocery Outlet is not a normal grocery store. It's a co-op where the central office opportunistically buys up close outs, over productions, etc, then offers their customers at local stores great prices. Because of this practice, they can offer their customers great prices, but it's always hit or miss. Like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates, "you never know what you're going to get." You may find a great price on a brand name item that you love, and, if so, buy it up right away because they likely won't be restocking once it's gone. They also offer their own store branded products. The ones I've tried have been good quality. Over the past two years I've noticed that they seem to be offering less variety, less customer service, and the shelves aren't as well stocked. Today's visit was especially disappointing. I went specifically to buy an item featured in their ad-- front page, no less-- and couldn't find any. When I asked each of the two people I found working there, no one knew what I was talking about. It's not that they had sold out; they just never had any and didn't even know they were supposed to. If this were a one time occurrence, I'd let it slide, but it's happened much too often lately. It seems to have become a pattern. I very much resent burning expensive gasoline for an advertised item, just to find that the store not only never had any stock, but the sparse staff didn't even know that it was advertised. Come on GO. You can do better.

If you're hungry, we especially like their hot foods such as wings, tenders, fried chicken for $5. We checked out at aisle #9 and Sheri was wonderful and cheerful cashier.
