Wednesday 1230pm the lady that's working did my lottery tickets and then told me that I couldn't use my debit card which is wrong. I use my debit card for my lottery tickets there all the time at night. I told her well that's fine then I'm just going to go to the 7-Eleven up the street they don't have any problem and all the other 7-Elevens I go to don't have any problem all 7-Elevens take debit cards for super lotto and Powerball tickets. So how much money are you losing at this 7-Eleven because your clerk doesn't know what she's talking about ? Watch Out! As a local resident I can no longer shop the convenance at this 7 Eleven due to store employees stealing from customers. On one occasion an employee scanned a Lotto ticket saying it was not a winner, when I scanned it, the scanner showed it as already cashed. Another time while purchasing eight pizzas for an event, I was charged for nine on my credit card with the promise of being refunded: I was not. Last week, while purchasing a few items using my debit, I caught the amount on the screen was off by $16.00. My neighbor complained last night about being charged twice for a single pack of cigarettes. I went to 7 eleven to buy some Lottery tickets and I asked the worker what's the Big winner going to get if they win. The worker was very rude and responded go check the signs. I also gave him a scratcher that I had won on and he just snatched it from me with an attitude. I shop here all the time and the other guys are very nice but not this one. Let's not be yelp snobs here; we can use a friendly review of a convenience store every now and then. I have always lived next to a 7-Eleven for some reason, and have had a wild array of experiences. My dad once boycotted one because they shortchanged him. They don't do that here. Everyone is super nice, if you're a few short, they'll let you slide, and they have this new 7-Eleven brand stuff that's cheaper than everything else! This, on top of the rewards system, is awesome for a repeat customer. I do want to point out what they do and don't have. They have all the questionable foods you want, but their beer selection is limited. I haven't seen a 24oz of Blue Moon (Or is it 22) in a while. Their soda selection is nothing compared to an Arco, but they do offer a lot of other drinks. The only real problem is the parking during peak hours since they built a dentist next store. I hate this 7-11 store because their employees are the most rudest people ever. I went to go buy a lighter in the morning yesterday and the cashier said he was going to sell me the lighter for $1.98 but then he randomly charged be $3 for a lighter and i told him thats to much. he refused to sell me the lighter at their original price and give me my money back .... He tricked me and charged me more than he was suppose to plus he threw me all the change at my face and i was like what the fuck you just dont throw shit at people. Right by my house. Love that they're always open, employees know me and my dad. This used to be my coffee spot but since I stopped drinking coffee I only come here once in awhile. I LOVE that they started carrying quest bars!! Usually the nearest place that carries them is the Vitamin Shoppe in Northridge, so happy that they carry them now. Also Parking lot is so tiny. Although I never expect the customer service at 7-11 to be 5-Star worthy, this particular 7-11 has probably the rudest employees I've ever witnessed. If your buying lottery tickets or cigarettes or beer or anything involving an I.D they will card you for every product they scan... LITERALLY every time they ring something up they will ask to see your I.D again... Yelp really needs to make a negative rating option... read more
