It tasted like a lighter version of earl grey. 3/5 stars Koan-Im Oolong Milk Tea ($6.85): Also good and very light. This one was supposed to be roasted, but it didn't really stand out. 3/5 stars Both teas I got were quite light. I genuinely don't know if it really lives up to any of the tea shops in Alhambra, but it was decent. Price is on the pricier side. Customer service was great though. I gave up on the hojicha without even trying it after everyone else wound up not liking their teas either (they didn't dislike it as much as I did with the gyokuro, it just wasn't great). Reviews seem positive for this place so I dunno what was up with our drinks. While the tea flavor, at least for the jasmine, was strong, it was so strong it tasted almost artificial (compared to similar tea-forward places).
