I came in for a beverage after stopping at the donut shop. The store seemed well stocked and clean. I was in the mood for a Pure Leaf unsweetened tea to wash away some of the sweetness from the donuts but I had a hard time finding it. Usually it is in a place close to the other caffeinated beverages but it was a couple of spaces over. The price said 2.99 which is pretty standard for the tea. The problem for me was when I went to go pay. It rang up in the machine as 3.59. I informed the woman at the register that it says 2.99 in the fridge and she said no it's whatever that is shown on the screen. I told her she should change it in the fridge because it can be misleading but she paid me no mind and didn't honor the price. If you need to stop here, I would be weary about the price you see vs what shows up on the screen. read more

This 7-11 is well cared for. Whenever I come into the store it's clean and the shelves are always stocked. The staff is incredibly friendly and whenever I'm in need of something I know I can rely on this store. I normally don't consume food from 7-11 but the wings and pizza here are not just super affordable but they actually taste good and fresh! The coffee is brewed fresh everyday, and it's right on my way to work, so I make sure to grab a cup before band. Do check out this 7-11, your experience will be worthwhile! read more

Arvind and his team are what makes this the best 7/11 around. Not only do they have all the amenities you could need (and more!) but they are also so incredibly nice, caring and truly make you feel like neighbors. My fiance and I have been going here for the past year and it's one of our favorite stops of the day. We love catching up with the team and seeing the latest additions to the store. We are incredibly sad to be moving away from our dear friends and know that we will continue to stop by when we are in town! What's the point of being 24hr and yet you're not even open 24hr it's disappointing to be completely honest

I'm born and raised in the San Mateo village and have visited this 711 my entire life without issue. Tonight I was treated more rudely than I've ever been treated at any establishment of any sort before. He told me to "hurry up" because he was tired and because they'd be closing soon for cleaning. That's something I've never experienced over 27 years of being your "neighbors". I actually left a $30 purchase on the counter just to not have to deal with the worker any longer. I hope corporate reads this, because I'll never return until I know that home boy had been terminated. Whoever worked the shift I visited tonight was rude enough for a 30 year resident to never patronize again over. 2:30 AM On the morning of Thursday the 22nd of February. I'll never visit this location again if I'd have to chance encountering this same worker again. I'll hopefully see this store again, as soon as this worker is dismissed. If not, consider me a lost regular. Hopefully I see a change in this level of service and can still buy my ramen from the place I always have. read more

Went in for a drink and a snack just now. My purchases came to $4.83. I was going to give the clerk four ones and exact change, but I was short of coins. All the while the clerk was giving me this impatient "come on!" look. I just gave him a twenty. He rolled his eyes at me. Finally, I wanted to check a Powerball ticket. The clerk mumbled something unintelligible at me. When I asked what he'd said, he yelled "IT'S CLOSED!!!!!" at me. I'd had it with his snarky attitude and I snarled "thanks for nothing" and walked out. I realize that this isn't the best job in the world -- especially at 1:45am. However, there is no excuse to be so rude. There was no one else waiting in line, so basically this guy was impatient to get back to doing nothing. Such rude service is inexcusable. The manager should staff the night shift with someone who treats customers with courtesy and respect and not act like he's doing them a favor by waiting on them. read more

Went in to get slurpees for my kids. There was a sign on the slurpee machine stating medium slurpee $1.00. But when it was rung up, it was not the correct price. The older Fillipino lady said it was expired and would not honor it. I told her its false advertisement and she took the sign down. every 7-11 seems to be a different item on special. here it was iced coffee(1) drink: iced coffee(1) french vanilla or mocha -premixed in machine, push to dispense -couldn't find the ice -cashier annoyed he had to tell me it was in the soda machine (next to coffee setup). -coffee tasted of chemicals, 2 stars at best. notes: -cashier by himself, maybe having a bad day -he cooled down after awhile, thanked me, and wished me a good day. The Alcohol Beverage Control In the Business and Professions (BP) Code give an overview and explanation regarding the sales of alcohol in the State of California. Since the law dictates that sellers of alcohol MUST place it in a bag (unless it is in a box already, for example a 12-pack of beer), then that bag should also be provided by the seller. Otherwise, I'm going green and walking out of the store without paying a cent for their bag. They would be violating the sellers responsibility (which is to provide a bag). This is the first store that attempted to charge me for a bag when I was purchasing alcohol. Victor chose not to provide a bag for my beverages (since I said I'm not paying) and allowed me to walk out of the store with alcohol, which violates this ordinance. The 1-star is not because he didn't want to give me a bag, it's because he displayed a very poor attitude when I asked him (twice) for my receipt. Obviously, if I don't have a bag I will be needing that receipt. Get with it and drop the 'tude. The customer may not always be right, but a bad attitude when I wasn't rude (I simply declined his offer to pay for a bag), is absolutely wrong, that's Customer Service 101. read more

This 7-11 at 11 Laurie Meadows Drive gets it!!! They get you in and get you out, all the while with a professional, friendly atmosphere. Pricing very fair and products fully stocked and fresh. Clean store as well. I will go out of my way to go to this 7-11 as it truly offers customer service the way it should be. Not all convenience stores understand that, nor care to. They do! I was eating at the restaurant next door when my eye started hurting. I knew I had to take out my contact immediately so I ran off to 7-Eleven. Their health section was surprisingly well stocked and not super unreasonable in terms of prices. I got a small bottle of contact lenses solution and some eye drops and off I went. They just hiked prices (1/27/19) by about 25% for beer. Been going there since the Davey Glen 7-eleven closed. Probably spent $70/week in last few years with them. Not any more. KIng's liquor across El Camino very reasonable prices. Too bad for 7-11! read more

Joined yelp specifically to warn people about this place. What a disaster! The cashier was super rude after I pointed out expired food in the open deli fridge! Who does that!? Made me feel bad for trying to help point out a health hazard.... I should have known better once I walked in here and felt like the store was from 1975. Everything was super dirty and not taken care of. Even the building looks like crap. I'm new to the neighborhood and I will never go back to this place unless I see a remodel and maybe a "under new ownership" sign.
