I go to this 7-11 because it is near my kids' school. They are fully equipped, and ready for you to buy stuff. Their coffee is usually fresh, the donuts are delicious, the concessions area is usually clean and the staff is really nice (to me!) ***my friend had a bad experience once, but I've had nothing but good ones!*** The gas doesn't hold up like other gas stations though (I log in my miles with every tank and gauge where the BEST gas stations are.) I get about 20-25 less mpg at this 7-11 than say a USA Gas in Lakeside. But otherwise this 7-11 is pretty great! read more

DON'T GO IF YOU VALUE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! You need to replace the overnight employee who was working at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 26th. I went up to pay, had to wait while he wiped down his ARMS before he could ring me up, TOTALLY IGNORING ME!!! I said "Hi", still being ignored!!! I said "Hello?!?!", I get an under the breath mumbled "Hey". I ask, "You can't say Hello?!?!" To which he replies "I've been up all night ". I'm so sorry, you poor baby!!! Do you have a condition where your mouth doesn't work when you're a sleepy boy?!?! Did you not know that 7/11 was open 24 hours when you applied?!?! Or did they force you into working overnight?!?! One of these must be true, right?!?! Because you have no customer service skills or even manners when you're tired, if you ever had them in the first place. Which given your behavior, that's probably a good bet. 7 Elevens are no doubt convenience stores around town because they seem to be on every other busy corner, and I am always amazed how much they pack in to these little stores, not to mention they still have slurpees! I can't get enough of the coke and cherry mix. I came in to pick up a few bottles of water for the road and some gum. I picked up a bottle of their new 7-Select 16.9 oz water, and they're right when they say it's just as good as the National Brands. Service at the counter was okay, the employee who served me was not much for small talk nor smiling. I guess it is just a job. I waited outside for the guy that blasted past me to go inside and he was not wearing a mask. After he left I went inside. Then after I got my stuff and got in line another guy walks in and has no mask and gets in line three people behind still without mask and then I get to the counter to find the trainer of the two with a gaiter mask pulled down and exposing his nose and mouth?? Also no mention to the ones without a mask which would be difficult to enforce if not setting the example...never going back. read more

I have nothing but trouble trying to redeem my lotto tickets at the 7-11 at mast and Guyamaca. Don't go between 1 and 2 PM because of something to do with the registers at that time. Also it's like pulling teeth to get back the winning ticket as I need it for proof of the winnings for our lotto group. Plus the clerk had no mask and a less than customer service demeanor. Love this 7-11, it's in a small parking lot with a few other businesses with a small parking lot... it has 4 gas pumps and It's easy to access from Mast East bound all other ways require traffic lights or a U-Turn... I have my coffee in the morning all the time. The guy who maintains the coffee is always friendly and Cheery. Staff is always nice. I would give it a five star, but parking seems to be an issue way too often during the afternoon hours. Very clean and well maintained. I'll keep coming back for more. read more
