He hopped in the car and drove 1 yard, immediately told me what he thought it was, and warned me to avoid driving the rest of the weekend as grinding the wheel in extreme heat was risky. He said to come back first thing Monday morning to get it lifted up and properly examined. Came back Monday and the team figured out I needed to replace the caliper and brakes. Price was fair and they said they could do it same day within 3 hours, so I let them work on it and had them do an oil change as well. I'm very grateful for Brian and his team, taking the time to explain what was actually needed and why, and not overselling me on additional services. I'm so glad I finally found a new trusted mechanic! Will definitely take my car to Brian and the team for all future maintenance services.

Brian estimated that he could have my car fixed within a few days. The whole job took one week because he found other significant damage in the interior of my car which I didn't know about. Overall he communicated well, asked if I wanted to fix everything and had such a positive attitude. Also they do excellent work for a reasonable price. I almost wanted to keep this gem to myself but the world (or Silver Spring) needs to know where to go for superior auto care whether mechanical or auto body. They also cleaned the interior of my car. I don't want to come back for anything other than oil changes but if I need a job done in the future, I know where to go. After they placed my wheels on they then told me that all of my sensors were no good and that it would cost $1750 to replace each sensor. The problem there, the system worked just fine before taking it in for them to service. Understand that my uncle is a mechanic, he just doesn't like servicing toes. When I told him what happened, he told me they must have damaged my TPSM system and gave me that price so they wouldn't have to repair it. I believe he is right because the cost for each ranges from $25-$110 depending on Mopar or after market parts. I will NEVER go to this business again and warn anyone who chooses to.

The other mechanic told us that the car could be safetly driver for another month. In addition, he referred us to parts which would make the total repair cost around $500. If you're like me, you forget that your car actually runs off of this stuff called "gas" until you have none. So, when I stopped at this location, I threw some gas in my car; they have those pumps where after you take the handle off of the black holder dealy- you actually pop the black holder thing up to start the pump (like in the olden days). 90 percent of those black holder dealy things are now screwed onto the gas pump. They punk me everytime.. "oh, you're trying to pull up my thing, you dumb #$%^&*. Think again!" That's what they say... yes, I'll make an appointment with the doc. So, I go into the convenience store portion of the station and that's where my journey really gets magical. "Hey there, do you have any electronic cigarettes" I say with angst in voice "Yeah we do, we have blus right over here- and we also have the NJoy's" the gas station attendant Andre kindly points out. Andre stands close to 6 foot three inches tall with a friendly face and a welcoming warm attitude. Even though the blus tend to last much longer, I opt for the NJoys cause of flavor preference. A young man who was chatting with Andre when I came in remarks the same exact thing I was thinking as I ask Andre for the "full menthol Njoy's." He took the words right out of my brain. Andre remarks, "but you gotta watch out for those, there are a lot of duds" I respond quickly "yes yes, I had to return one to 7-11 not more than a month ago because I took two puffs and it was done." Andre comes back " you're lucky you've only gotten one dud, I get them back all the time- you might want to try this one out before you leave the station." I'm so excited at the fact that Andre wants to make sure the product I get from his gas station is in working order. I purchase the NJoy while telling Andre that I have a theory on why a lot of them are broken, "Ya know, a while ago they had this program where you send in 7 used Njoy's and they would send you one new one in the mail, I think that they're using old batteries and that's why so many of them are failing" "Well, that would explain a lot" he says with surprise. At that point, he starts ringing up another customer but says an aside to me, a second time, before I leave: "Yo, you really might want to try that out before you leave though." I had actually just tried it out while he was busy with another customer, he didn't see. "It's working great, thank you so much" And that's how you provide amazing customer service in the most unexpected of situations. Thank you Andre!

I was charged for the MD State Inspection, but it failed. Reasons, given, brake pads were too low (but the mechanic here at the shell did say they were close to being unacceptable) PLUS the never fail (always fail and inspection) the windshield wipers, which also had passed the inspection at the other mechanic I went to before purchasing the vehicle. Long story short, this place wanted to charge me $300 for the brake pad replacement + $80 for the wipers. He said the wipers failed because per the MD state inspection, the wipers should be able to go back and forth 5 times without smudging. I had visually inspected the wipers, no cracks or dry rot. I also did this test of his and I was able to get smooth clean results after letting them run for 10 times back and forth. Bottom line, the BP across the street seems to be more honest. I would recommend going there for any mechanical issues. As far as the prices of the gas go, if you have Giant rewards, then of course use them here ;-)
