Free Slurpee Day was today 7-11! I stopped by around 2:00pm. There was a group of young adults with intellectual disabilities clamoring around the Slurpee machine with their chaperones. An employee was in the front of the store handing out small (10oz) cups for the free Slurpee. I chose the blue raspberry which was good, but a bit liquid-y. I bought a 2pk of white chocolate macadamia cookies. They're a bargain at 2/$1.00. Can't beat that price for fresh baked cookies. read more

I frequent this location for two reasons...because it's close to home and because of their rewards program that reduces the gas prices by .03. I hardly ever go inside though because there tends to be people loitering outside and panhandling day and night. Oh my God, there's so many people always outside of the 7-Eleven doing weird things don't go here one time I saw a lady get in a fight with another man so try to stay out of it but besides all of that, it's good. One of the largest and most spacious gas stations right outside of the DC line. There are 16 pumps, lots of parking for the adjacent convenience store, and several points of entry. Busy busy busy this morning because the Exxon down the street that everyone loves for their cheap rates was out of service for refueling. Slow pump, machine processing credit card also slow, and no receipt printed. It's on the way into DC, so a good place to fuel up. The end! read more

Super slow and a lil sketch! One day last week I was on my way to work early in the morning. It was around 6 a.m. I was passing by and decided to stop in for some coffee. I remembered that they currently have a $1 special on any size coffee. Outside the store you'll be "greeted" by some interesting characters! Inside the store, wasn't very clean! Go here at your own risk. Last night, was one of the worst experiences I've had at any business. Here is what happened. 1. This place in general is rather sketchy. You should be fine if you are there to just pump your gas, but anything else you'll encounter some characters (they usually have a few loiters generally at any hours). 2. I was there to get my son some medicine when there was a man (an apparent customer) was there with NO mask harassing someone and making sexually suggestive comments to this woman about how it would be worth getting COVID to be with her (which made no sense since once again he was NOT wearing a mask). Not once did I see anyone try and get this guy to wear a mask. 3. While this was happening, the same man approached me saying I was in his way (when he was just in the same aisle harassing this woman who was in no way with him or wanted to be with him). I explained to him I was just trying to get medicine and his response was "you should have said excuse me you faggot". At this point, I could tell he was escalating the situation and things got very uncomfortable so I proceeded to just get out that aisle and look for something else. 4. What happened next was insane. This guy continued to approach me and said "I got something for you" and reached into his pocket to pull out brass knuckles. I kid you not. As soon as I saw this, I literally ran out of the store. I wish I was making this up, but seven eleven didn't seem to care or do anything here. If something did happen to this man, I'd appreciate an update. 5. At this moment, I can't support this business and you shouldn't either. (let alone their horrific policy on masks alone during a pandemic). read more

I stopped here and waited 20 Minutes for 12 dollars worth of Gas. I was trying to fill up my tank, but every other pump is broken or malfunctioning. A complete waste of 20 minutes on a very busy Sunday morning. read more

I thought I'd seen it all, but obviously I hadn't. This one I'd done seen in dreams. Okay, more like photos on the Internet, but still. I heard the stories of 7-Elevens with gas stations but I thought it was too good to be true. Like drive-thru Starbucks, I assumed these were relegated to sprawling lands in the Midwest where the deer and the antelope play (until they get sucked into a huge tornado). But alas, the promised land has been found! Right on Georgia Avenue you will find what I think is the only 7-Eleven with a gas station in DC. It's everything you could think of and more. All the great trinkets of a 7-Eleven (chips, soda, coffee, slurpees, crappy food and cigarettes) plus the golden elixir (gasoline). Gas prices here are par for the course, and there are a ton of pumps for you to give your cash to Big Oil. Really awesome. read more

This location has 20 pumps. 50% are "out of order" all the time; with no explanation from the staff. see pic below. The remainder of the pumps say "pay inside" which means you can't use the pump until you do so. And when you go to pay, there is always a line. I'm confident this location isn't up to code. read more

Place is trash. At any random point a number of pumps are dead, pumps frequently won't be marked out of order, they just stare at you while you make an effort to use them. You are guaranteed to have to run a gauntlet of beggars on the way into the store. The clerks are totally indifferent to all of this. read more

This 7-11 has big gas station and the store itself is big as well. Gas price is usually lower than the ones around the area. Cashiers are friendly but not efficient. Knowing they 10 people in line, they take their own sweet time ringing out each one of them during rush hour. read more

I came here just to pick up a package from the Amazon lockers located inside of this 7-eleven. Amazon should do a better job at identifying that their lockers are inside of this 7-eleven. It took me a while to figure out that the lockers were inside. Anyway, it was easy and swift to grab the package. It was nice to be able to grab myself a hot chocolate on my way out. We come here for mainly for the gas, since it is cheaper then most others in Downtown Silver Spring. My only complaint is that there are usually people loitering in the lot near the shop and I have multiple times been approached by panhandlers. read more

Pumps were malfunctioning. Pump said I had to pay inside so I paid inside, but the pump still wouldn't recognize the payment. Employee says this happens and there's nothing they can do about it. Don't go here. The employees are nice but can't do anything. read more

I will never go back there again! I used to get gas there once or twice per week, but no more! I needed air in my front tires,. I only had a $20 bill. They would not give me change. UNBELIEVABLE! They were counting money right behind the counter as I made my request. This is terrible customer service. "I do not have change." said the man behind the counter. At least don't lie to me. I wish I could give zero stars. We went in for gas before taking a road trip and the pump we tried to use wasn't working. Ok, so tried another. Also not working. We went into the store to ask what was the problem. They said "oh yeah, we are out of gas." REALLY? And you never thought to put up a sign? We went back today to put air in our tires. Put our quarters in the machine and tried filling them. The hose was leaking more air than was making it in the tire. And the gauge wasn't working to show the pressure in the tire. We gave up. The workers there have very condescending attitudes to say the least I try my best to avoid going to this one in particular. I purchased an item and I asked for $1.00 in quarters to pay the meter . The workers response was " give me just a second I have to open the register" . ??? What??!!! Didn't you just open the register to give me change in the first place ???? If I didn't need it bad I would've left. I waited til the lady took 3 more customers THEN she decided to waste her precious time on me .
