The hummus is was a bit on the loose side, and we actually thought it was tahini from the look, aroma, and flavor. My guess is the batch was made with a bit more tahini than normal. Still good, but surprising. The Aladdin's Combo didn't look as pictured on the website, where it looks like a very sizable portion of meat, with chicken in a reddish marinade. Though the chicken looked similar to shawarma, it was clearly different in flavor, and both it and the koobideh were delicious. I ordered extra meat and had expected it to be outrageously large based on the menu photo of the standard order, but what came was more similar to the photo itself. It was still plenty to share, but I paid additional and didn't seem like I got that much more. The regular portions here are large, like easily feed two people sized. We ordered one plate per person, but in reality could've split them all. Again, I love this spot and chalk this up to learning. I think some folks could get frustrated with this experience, and I def did to an extent, but I enjoy this too much to gripe.

Lots of merchandise, wide aisles- Everything was very neat and tidy.. Refrigerated cases and a case with homemade snacks.. After trying Pakora the first time (last week).. I wanted to see if they had a packet .. Staff was helpful and pointed me in the right direction. Also picked up a mild bag of curry- I've only cooked with the Japanese curry, but wanted to try something new.. My oldest had some cookies that I enjoyed, and I also found them here.. Hopefully, my new cooking adventures will be enjoyable.. and I'll be back for new spices..

Saturday night, my family and I decided to check this place out. We walked in without a reservation and were seated right away since it wasn't too busy. We kicked things off with Chicken 65, masala dosa, and chicken noodles. The masala dosa and chicken noodles were a hit! The noodles were packed with chicken, eggs, and a variety of veggies. Chicken 65 was a bit on the bland side for our taste, but we should've asked for it spicier. The real star of the night? The dosa, hands down. It was incredible! For our main course, we treated ourselves to butter chicken, chicken tikka, bhindi masala, tandoori roti, and onion kulcha. Every dish was a delight. The onion kulcha and butter chicken quickly became everyone's favorite--absolutely delicious! Overall, the food was a solid 10/10. The service was a tad slow, but given that the restaurant had just opened, they were clearly still finding their rhythm. It didn't bother us at all. In fact, we enjoyed our dining experience and would definitely come back again. The welcoming atmosphere and delicious food more than made up for any minor delays. 2/5 7 Spices has potential, but the experience was frustrating due to poor service and ambience issues. The restaurant was severely understaffed, with our waiter scrambling to clear tables because there was no busboy. As a result, our Diet Cokes took a long time to arrive. The atmosphere wasn't great either--the strong Pine-Sol smell in the dining area was overwhelming and took away from the experience. On top of that, the QR code menu didn't work, which felt like a weird choice when a simple physical menu would've been easier. Food-wise, the chicken tikka was very good, but it could use more chicken and less bell pepper. The naan was solid, and the rice was fine but nothing special. The mutter paneer had a strange plastic, burnt taste, but to their credit, they removed it from the bill when I asked.
