We had a little difficulty finding it. GPS brought us to the parking lot behind the building. There isn't clear signage to direct you where to go. We managed to find our way up the stairs and into the building. There are a number of businesses located inside. Lucky Tree is super cute. It's set up to encourage working, with plenty of charging spots all around. There is a variety of seating, from long wooden tables to smaller individual areas. We ordered a chai latte and golden milk latte, both with oat milk. Both drinks were good. Fyi there is a separate entrance from the side that takes you directly to another smaller parking lot.

I loved the cheese on top! I was not a huge fan of the flavor the almond flour gave them but it was not overpowering. I would probably get them again! They had a lot of options as far as specialty lattes but I am glad I went with the Vanilla Maple. I was worried that the maple flavor would be too much but it complimented the vanilla well. The inside was VERY well decorated, and I would've loved to stay and do a little computer work! I could see myself coming by and sitting down for a quick brunch, meeting up with friends, or staying for a work session.

The decor is nice. Minimalist but chic. Clean. Not too loud or noisy. You can get service at your table. Everyone was nice. It's not totally like a traditional waitstaff, as they don't come by as often, but still helpful and around when I needed something. The cocktails were good - I had the honey bourbon smash. It was well made. So much so I had two! For food, these are shareable small plates. Morning truly felt like a meal. The food came out fast and was hot/fresh. I had the crab claws, crispy shrimp and dumplings. The crab claws were delicious. Lots of them too. Served with bread I didn't use. The crispy shrimp were nice large shrimp and a spicy sauce with rice. I ended up using the rice with the crab claw sauce. And the dumplings were ok but I didn't eat many of them. They were my least favorite. I would come back to enjoy coffee and breakfast, but doubt I come back for dinner.

The food looked as good as it tasted. The pastry was fresh, warm, and balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. It paired perfectly with the wine. The wine list was wonderful. There were plenty of options, and it felt well chosen, not overwhelming. The rosé we had was crisp and light, which worked great for lunch. Service stayed attentive without rushing anything. Overall, this spot works well for a laid back but elevated girls lunch.

We came for lunch on a Tuesday at noon, expecting to miss any crowds or waits. There were about 5ish tables seated, so we were confused why the kitchen was so backed up. We both ordered a salad....and waited over an hour and 15 minutes. At this point I could have went to the store to make it myself. Unfortunately the quality was bad on top of the wait times and that's why I am writing this review. I'm disappointed that I brought my family here from out of town, we wanted to enjoy lunch and eat together, but it resorted in her eating cold chicken 20 minutes before me, and me eating lettuce drenched in dressing out of the plastic to-go container, which I didn't ask for They made it right by comping my salad and offering a free cookie, but due to the experience I don't want to give them a second shot. Very disappointed

My wife and I each ordered a latte and they were pretty tasty, although I have a few minor complaints: 1) They only serve lattes in one size (16 oz). Why not offer a 12 oz option? 2) The prices were the highest I've seen for any latte in the area ($7.50 plus tax, I believe) 3) They don't offer decaf drinks, so I wasn't able to get my latte half-caf (I opted to just get one shot of espresso, but of course it's not quite the same). The wait for the drinks wasn't too bad. Inside, they had a lot of seating, but I do think the lighting was a little harsh. Overall, not a bad experience, but I'm also not chomping at the bit to go back.

Maybe it's because this time I'm not taking a work break amid student study breaks, but instead waiting for my animal friend to have some tests at the vet school with which this coffee shop shares a roof. Entirely different vibe at this different location. The coffee doesn't taste any different (sort of ordinary really) but the employees are different. Attitude. It's all attitude. Perhaps the difference is because this spot is frequented by people from the vet school or pet owners like me debating whether caffeine is a good idea when they're already stressed about their fur baby. Shared anxiety. That makes the employee attitude even more important. Nice people. Friendly people. The food here, simple wraps and sandwiches, does taste better for some reason. Even for institutionalized bites, it's served warm, tastes fresh (relative term, I know) and by employees who hand it to you instead of throwing it across the counter with a very much less than sincere "thank you".

I have been ordering my coffee and food with GrubHub, which is relatively smooth. My only complaint are the stickers that they attach to the coffees to identify the online customer that has ordered a coffee. The cup ends up being sticky because the heat of the coffee makes the adhesive glue gooey. This makes for an annoying coffee drinking experience, forcing you to pour the coffee into a new cup and washing the adhesive from your hands. Surely there must be a better way? Smaller adhesives, different adhesives?

Iris Coffee Lab is where you bring the friend who can tell you the origin of a bean after one sip,…read morewho gets excited about extraction methods and tasting notes, and who genuinely believes coffee deserves the same reverence as a fine bottle of wine. Iris isn't trying to be trendy: it is unapologetically devoted to the craft. The interior reflects that philosophy. A restrained palette of white, charcoal, and soft gray keeps distractions to a minimum, allowing every cup to remain the focal point. It's clean, modern, and intentionally understated. If you're someone who typically reaches for cream and sugar, I'd encourage you to order at least one cup black. Iris sources and roasts exceptional coffee, and tasting it without distractions is the best way to appreciate the nuance and balance that have earned the café such a devoted following. That said, the seasonal menu is every bit as thoughtful. On this visit, I ordered the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha Latte, a drink layered with tropical sweetness, creamy matcha, and just enough complexity to keep each sip interesting. The final few sips, where all of the flavors settled together, were unexpectedly my favorite part. My brother-in-law chose Iris's signature blueberry-forward latte, while my niece ordered the house-made chai. Before she'd even finished half the cup, she looked up and declared, "This is the best chai I've ever had." Her father, after trying it himself, agreed without hesitation. The breakfast menu compliments the beverage program well, offering thoughtfully prepared dishes that feel every bit as intentional as the drinks. Like many destination coffee shops, Iris tends to attract people who settle in for a while. Laptops are open across nearly every table, conversations are minimal, and the room has the focused energy of a shared studio rather than a bustling café. Because of the open design, voices travel easily, making it a better place for quiet work than lively catch-ups. The café is meticulously maintained, including spotless restrooms that reflect the same attention to detail found throughout the space. Parking can require a bit of patience, though I've almost always managed to find a spot without too much trouble. Iris Coffee Lab isn't trying to appeal to everyone, and that's exactly what makes it special. It's a café for people who care about coffee, how it's sourced, brewed, and experienced. In a city with no shortage of coffee shops, Iris has carved out a distinct identity by putting craftsmanship ahead of trends, creating a destination that's as much about curiosity as it is about caffeine.
