Updating my review. The living conditions here actually got so bad that I decided to move out 8 months ago before things really hit rock bottom. I now live in an actual luxury apartment, won't disclose my new location for privacy. We have central heating, and the hallways are always so well kept. Our pool area is never down. Oh, and get this, we get regular scheduled periodic maintenance checks where they come into the apartment to make sure everything is good and operating. Sometimes we even get emails of which part of the building will be closed for maintenance to check up-- NOT EVEN FOR REPAIRS! They're literally checking and fixing things BEFORE THEY BREAK!! On the opposite end, you have this "luxury apartment" Central 77. Since I've moved out, as far as I have heard from my friend still living there, they have been without heat. Hallways are FREEZING cold. They have had a roach infestation. Trash chute is broken again. And the utilities billing issue from when I last lived here apparently never got resolved. So residents are maybe even be paying for other people's meters including the restaurants downstairs. I will never forget when I was moving out... my last day there, I saw a couple touring the place and I just thought how sorry I felt for them because they will be living in really bad conditions.

Nice try, Pinnacle! In 2017 this building received only one star reviews on yelp, and primary reason is poor management. Do you think Pinnacle addressed those issues? Wrong! They've renamed 77 Central to 'Park at Stone Creek, The - Pinnacle' and marked the place as closed. Prooflink: https://www.yelp.com/biz/park-at-stone-creek-the-pinnacle-mercer-island This is another proof of how dysfunctional is Pinnacle as a management company.

I've lived on the property for several years so I guess it's time to push out a review! Why have I…read morestayed? Why do people keep going back to Disney? It's the employees! I'm serious, the office and maintenance staff people are awesome! The 3 office young ladies (40's isn't old) are very nice and smile. They always try to assist if you have an issue and even listen to your complaints when you know they can't do anything about it. At least I feel better after bringing something up. I really appreciate their work in organizing and keeping our packages safe, taking on inconsiderate residents, and coming up with resident events. The maintenance guys are awesome too! Kevin will be missed but Jay has stepped up and has taken over as the person who never stops moving! I'm very impressed about how much these guys are able to accomplish in a single day. They are always running around knocking stuff out. Again, they're always friendly and smiling. They are all just good people to be around. Ok, ok, there has to be something that you don't like right? Absolutely! If I owned the property, I would have made different decisions on where to spend my budget. It's not just about the facade of the building but the internal workings that also matter. That's if you want to keep people paying a premium to live here. It has to be cheaper to keep a resident than to flip the unit. It's advertised as a luxury apt complex so it should deliver. Where do I start? They spent a lot of money on the A/C units but the hallways are still hotter than they were with the old system. Fix the hallways and tint the hallway windows. It's normally 90 degrees with the A/C on! It's terrible. I'm sweating by the time I get down to my car. We have the slowest elevators that I have ever used in my entire life. They are terrible. Plus 1 door is rubbing pretty bad. Instead of fixing them, we received new low-light, light fixtures in all of the hallways. They had to go back and install recessed lighting due to how dark it was. The new mirrors in the elevators remind me of Las Vegas and they are still terrible. The NE corner emergency stairwell of the open/upper parking garage doesn't lock so you'll find a transient living at the top of the stairwell every couple of weeks. It needs to be secured or another door added so people can't go up the stairwell. The worst is the EV parking. I don't think the electrician did a very good job. There are only 3 spots left. I believe 2 of the spots are on the same breaker so if a non-Tesla vehicle tries to charge, it throws the breaker. Oh yeah, they 100% need to install wifi in the garages. We can't update our vehicles. Hey, it's the new EV world order. Here's a funny one. There's a cool looking bridge with what appears to be a roof for residents to use that connects the 2 buildings. It just looks like a roof but there's no roof! The beams were never covered so you'll be wet when you're trying to cross. The pool has been leaking into the parking garage for over a year so we're out 2 parking spaces. The waterfall feature for the hot tub no longer works so we've missed out on that for several months. The noise would drown out some of the noise created by people at the pool. Something else that I don't like about the property are the junk charges. For instance, you receive an electric bill for your unit then you receive another electric bill from the property for the property! That means the renters are paying for the common areas by being forced to split up the electric for the hallway lights, hallway A/C that doesn't work, the pool, EV charging, etc. My monthly common area bill has steadily increased. I'm paying the highest rent in the area. You guys pay your own electric bill. The parking is definitely the highest I've had to pay at $150 a spot. Honestly, if it wasn't for the staff, I would have bought a place on M.I. or in Bellevue already. 5 Stars for the staff and 3 for the owners.

After a few months living at the Hadley my car in a secured area was broken into. They smashed the window and I ended up getting the phone call on vacation. Instead of questioning how this happened, I was told by Megan.. "You shouldn't leave anything of value in your car". Which I hadn't and had to pay for the deductible of the car window $500. So the management knew there could potentially be security issues. Yet instead of getting cameras for the parking garage and storage- they get a camera to watch the trash to see if anyone abandons a mattress at the trash area. Upon moving out I went down to my storage to see how many boxes I had (keep in mind this is only an area you can access with a key fob) I realized my locked unit that I paid for each month was broken into, and all the storage units had been pried open with a crowbar. I had over $1500 of tools in the unit and ended up only getting $400 with my renters insurance. Renters insurance depreciates your items and charges a deductible. I called ConAm and was told they don't want to install cameras because it is too expensive. In opening a box of my summers clothes it looks as if they also took all my nice dresses and expensive shoes. I did not notice this until now. Completely pissed at CONAM. The 1%er owner doesn't give a shit if all your clothes, tool were stolen or your car was broken into. There is another person whose apartment was broken into- please see yelp reviews. With photos! Yet the owner of the building refuses to do anything. I have contacted a lawyer this is the only way the owner will give a shit! Please message me if you also have be a victim of crime at the Hadley.

TLDR (but I suggest you read it): I don't recommend moving here. The only good thing about living…read morehere were the maintenance workers (they were super timely and kind). One of our major issues with Shorewood was their utter lack of communication. There were many times that vendors and/or the property management team would show up without proper notice. There were also times when we would receive proper notice, and then they either wouldn't show up or would show up after the date they gave us. For example, the first year we lived there, they did fire alarm testing without any warning/communication at all. Also during the first year we lived there, a flood occurred in our building and we had active construction in our unit/building for 6+ months, but they still raised our rent even when we brought it up with the property management team. Tangentially, during this time, the fire alarm system constantly went off, and it became so reoccurring that some people just stopped evacuating the building and waited in the ear splitting ringing for the fire fighters to reset the system. Going off of the above, some of the contracted vendors that they use are super unprofessional. Some examples of things that we experienced include vendors peeing in our bathroom when we actively have no water (we didn't necessarily care that they used our bathroom, you gotta go when you gotta go, it was the fact that they were there to fix things so that Shorewood could turn the water back on [i.e., they knew our water was off] and the fact there was pee on the toilet seat), leaving their trash in our apartment, and stabilizing the ladders that they're actively climbing on the glass of our window panes. There were also times that we didn't receive updates about when vendors would be working which lead to water being sprayed into our apartment as well as confusion over why there were random men climbing on our balcony. Lastly, I don't know if it was the grounds staff, maintenance, or the office staff, but they started to park their golf carts in front of building entrances more often and would only leave enough space for the door to open, not for people to leave quickly. So in order to actually exit the building, you'd have to open the door, move to let it close, wait for the door to close, and then you could leave by walking around the golf cart. When asked why they parked there, they said, "it's an emergency," but there were open parking spaces that wouldn't been a safety hazard right behind where they parked.

Being the caregiver and working a time consuming job in Seattle and the sole source of income for the family I went against my judgment and signed a lease sight unseen. I figured greystar is reputable it will be fine photos should be accurate. Huge mistake. The day came to get the keys I gave them the down payment and went to look at the unit. Absolute garbage. It smelled horribly of curry and in wood floors, failing laminate countertops and press board cabinets, that smell won't come out. I immediately went to ask for a different unit,l which theoretically would have been more expensive so I would assume better for them? I would have happily paid more. It was hilarious how quickly Shane changed gears. Within 15 minutes I had given a deposit and essentially got told to go F myself. I'd recommend a different property. I'm in the process of buying out of this lease. I don't even think I'll move in. Trusting a company is something you don't do in this day and age. I knew better. Nevertheless, run away or at least be very careful, it's easy to throw a few thousand dollars in the trash. Oops. All photos were pre-move in inspection. Trash all over, paint spattered on the floor and again the place is permeated with curry.

First few years were great (moved in 2016), managers were really nice. Shout out to Mimi, and then Schick, both were fantastic. But after they left things really went downhill. Management was just a lot more unresponsive, less helpful. Maintenance folks were good but of course they depend on management to relay tickets, so that was a problem. Turnover was a real problem as well - some just seemed clueless. The worst thing honestly was after we moved out. Manager was very lazy about how he handled the final inspection and refund of our deposit. I had provided him a new address to send it to and also had mail forwarding so that wasn't the issue, and of course he had my phone number and email address. I called but was simply told it'd be a couple of weeks. Still nothing so I email them multiple times, still nothing. So I just let it go. Fast forward a year and we receive a letter from a DEBT COLLECTOR (IQ Data Inc, a notoriously aggressive and unpleasant debt collector, look up reviews). Turns out the cleaning costs/final utilities cost more than the deposit - but the manager had failed to send a statement of charges, and worse, wouldn't even respond to my multiple attempts to follow up on our deposit/any charges. Instead he just let it go straight to collections... I asked if I could at least be refunded/reimbursed for the interest the debt collectors were charging on top of the original charges, a measly $27, but wouldn't even do this. Be warned, this is the sort of thing you may have to deal with after the move out. Not a rent paying resident anymore so they don't care I guess. There were also multiple break ins in the parking lot even during evenings when the garage doors should have been closed - seems they just left it open because it was easier e.g. for contractors. My car was broken in but nothing was stolen (don't leave valuables of course!), but a coworker who also lived there straight up had his car stolen. It might seem cheap for the location (still expensive of course, this is Bellevue), but it's for a reason. Updating my review since the new manager also broke their promise and ended up refusing to reimburse me.

Although we failed to find it, he suggests me to send him the proof of delivery and he will help me asking the mailman where the package is. I really appreciate his help for me, which makes me feel much better from the frustrations of finding a missing mail. Besides, their building is concrete so that it is always quiet. They have air conditioning and they have great places for BBQ, game, party. And they have a gym. I like their decorations in the lobby and hallways. They have a lot of lightning in the room so you may not need to buy several floor lamps. I love their kitchen island, which save me buying a dining table. The Meyden has positives. The location is attractive, the property presents well visually, and some units offer beautiful views. Unfortunately, my actual living experience was deeply disappointing. A significant issue surfaced immediately after move-in involving my AC system and drain line. The problem required ongoing remediation efforts and frequent maintenance access throughout my tenancy. During certain periods, maintenance presence became a near-daily reality, and visit timing often felt inconsistent enough that I rarely knew when someone might arrive. During this process, I experienced multiple occasions where maintenance personnel were inside my apartment before I realized they had arrived. On one occasion, I awoke from a nap to find maintenance personnel in my unit. On another, I had just exited the shower and discovered maintenance personnel already present. Regardless of procedures surrounding access, the unpredictability and frequency of entry significantly affected my sense of privacy and comfort in my own home. I also experienced recurring drain/water odors, repeated notices, inspections, maintenance scheduling, and a general feeling of continual interruption rather than residential calm. Noise was another major factor in my experience. Environmental noise, surrounding activity, and sound transmission between units were all noticeable. Footsteps, pacing, dropped items, and neighboring activity were often clearly audible. One particularly difficult issue involved my piano. My piano was a major priority during my housing search, and I disclosed during touring, leasing, and move-in that I am a longtime pianist who plays frequently. At every stage, I was informed this would not be an issue provided I remained outside quiet hours. I followed those expectations. Despite this, I received repeated complaint communications regarding my playing. After discussing the matter directly, I learned the complaints originated from a single neighboring resident. I verified that I was not playing during quiet hours and obtained written confirmation that piano playing was permitted. Despite this, the situation escalated into direct confrontation from the neighbor before the matter was ultimately addressed. My move-out and lease closeout experiences were also difficult. After providing notice, coordinating logistics, and reserving an elevator, my midweek move-out during normal business hours changed unexpectedly due to an off-site staff meeting, requiring me to personally manage portions of the move-out process that I had not anticipated handling. Additionally, a prior rent accommodation related to the initial AC issue was effectively reversed during the early lease termination settlement, substantially increasing the financial burden of ending the lease. Attempts to negotiate a more flexible resolution were unsuccessful. Every renter will prioritize different things. Based on my experience, I would encourage prospective residents to carefully consider maintenance/access expectations, building noise sensitivity, operational processes, and lease flexibility when determining fit. I would not choose to live here again.
