I've waited to make this review until we've lived her a while. This is our first apartment - we've only been homeowners before this move. I'm a pretty optimistic person, but the Bravern has exceeded all my expectations ... it's a fabulous property. Everything ... staff, apartment finishes, appliances, security, parking, the gym, etc. ... they're all absolutely top notch. The staff really makes the difference ... Thea (concierge) and Alon (resident services manager) are great ... kind, caring and responsive. Mariano, Gene, and Shawn in maintenance are awesome ... when we've had issues they've been here within 30 minutes and resolved the problem ... in our homeowner days we would've been waiting a week to get the issue resolved. Bottom line, we couldn't be happier with our decision to move here. read more

Great Experience with Gio from the Maintenance Team! I just wanted to take a moment to recognize Gio from our apartment maintenance team. Every time we've needed something fixed, he's been prompt, professional, and super efficient. What really makes him stand out, though, is how kind and patient he is especially with kids. He always takes the time to explain what he's working on and never seems bothered if little ones are nearby or asking questions. We enjoyed living at The Bravern for 2.5 years, but recently moved out after a proposed 17% rent increase. Unfortunately, the quality just doesn't justify the price. Elevators are often slow or out of service, the lobby lights have been broken for months, and the small gym and limited amenities (two tiny dog runs, two shared grills) are inadequate for a building this size. The concierge desk frequently closes early with the same vague "due to unforeseen circumstances" message -- it's frustrating and unprofessional. Constant nearby construction and street noise only add to the headache. For what they charge, you'd expect much better. read more

I've been living here for a while and I'm a fan. The rent is exorbitant and downtown Bellevue isn't exactly cosmopolitan but you'd be hard pressed to find the level of quality they have in these units and the overall service anywhere else. I have a two bedroom, 2 1/2 bath place here and I love it. The unit is not brand new but because it was designed to be best-in-class when they first opened the Bravern everything has aged really well. The interior, the flooring, the finishes, and the appliances are all top-notch and much better than any other place I've ever rented. I love having the fireplace in the unit too and it gets a ton of use in the months where it's actually cold to have it on. The service here is also great. The concierges (especially the main one) are super helpful and actually resemble similar staff in more metropolitan cities. Every time I've had a problem in the unit the staff have been quick to respond and solve the problem. It's also a very safe place to live. The garage is monitored 24/7 and can't be accessed easily. People can't just randomly come up to your floor without explicit permission and it's challenging to get into the building in the first place. And, it's Bellevue so it's already a pretty chill location in general. I would say that some aspects of the place are dating. They really need to revise the AV room and the recent reboot to the social space looks a bit low rent in its design compared to what you'd expect from a luxury complex. And Bellevue is pretty boring - there isn't anything the Bravern can do about this but it's something you should consider before moving to a place like this. Overall I'm a fan! read more

The Bravern is so amazing! We have lived here over the years dating back to 2013 and if I am being completely honestly the current team is the best and my personal favorite thus far. I hate to list names because everyone is incredible (and I don't want to miss anyone) but my 2 personal favs on the leasing team and go-to's are Brooke and Evan! They are phenomenal!!!! Their customer service is never lacking, they operate at an extremely high level and they just down right give a darn! We've traveled and lived all of over the country and have been faced with both good and bad property management teams but when you find a group of hard working individuals that just "get it", you learn to appreciate them in the best way. This isn't a Yelp review that I'm giving because I've discussed it with anyone or am doing it as a favor (I don't believe in that).....I'm doing it because I mean every word and.......I have purposely waited for some time to write this review in order to really have ample time to evaluate the team based on multiple experiences (including the difficulties of COVID). There aren't many times I am able to say this but we could not be happier in our home.....From cleanliness, responsiveness, to the maintenance staff and I surely can't forget about everyone on the concierge team!! They both have excellent people skills, I never felt they were rushing to get the job finished, both are patient and care about whether it's to my satisfaction. We lived in Bravern for 15 months. And it truly has been the best decision to live here. We absolutely love the apartment, the built quality, views, everything. The concierge team is absolutely amazing - Alan & Thea always go above and beyond to help, they leave no stone unturned. Bravern wouldnt be the same without Alan, just so warm & a big problem solver! There are many wonderful places to live around the downtown area, please avoid this at ALL costs! We regret that we signed a year least, and now cannot get out of the lease. What they said about their property, amenities are mostly false. The concierge is constantly short of staff, and the hours just got cut shorter and shorter, no deliveries past 7 PM can get to your unit; the elevator breaks down all the time, people got stuck in them often. Here is the worst part, they turned off the AC units for 3 weeks in the hot days, and make no effort to accommodate their residents. We are currently staying in a hotel, because the temperature in our apartment is over 85 degrees. The response from the management was: no, we are not giving rent reductions because AC is not required in the state of WA! This was an actual necessity for us, and they have show zero interests in taking care of their own residents. read more

When the light in our storage closet went out, I submitted a request through the service portal. To my amazement, the light was replaced within just a few hours. I see the negative reviews, mainly involving the spa facilities, and I get it. I will speak to living here... We have been here for 5 years and, aside from a few minor irritations, we have loved it. We have a beautiful, 2-bedroom / 2-bathroom flat with sweeping views of the Cascades and of Mount Rainer. It is quiet, secure and very convenient to all things in DT Bellevue, and to the highway. We both travel a lot for our jobs and the quick highway access equals smooth sailing in a Lyft to SeaTac. We miss Felipe and Dana so much, however the new management team is really trying to win our hearts. They are efficient and kind - we are betting on them. Overall - we love it here. read more

The Bravern is a unique property with shops and restaurants on premise and in walking distance. I enjoy living here . Staff has always been very polite and helpful. Parking and storage is plentiful. I feel peaceful and enjoy the out door spaces in the Spring. I was in a a catostrophic accident and getting me accommodation for parking and the nursing staff that visits once a week was a simple task . Everyone has been helpful. read more

I have lived in a studio apartment here for 2 years, and I really love this building! The only reason I am moving now is because a deal came up that I can't refuse elsewhere, otherwise I would continue living here happily. The building and parking are very secure, with 24/7 security and protected access. The parking garage is spacious, and there are a decent amount of guest parking spots. There are electric charging spots available, however they cost a bit more than regular parking ;) The concierge team is usually available from 9am - 11pm. They were struggling with short staffing for a while, but even then they communicated clearly about when the hours would be limited. Shoutout to the head concierge, Alan, who always makes everyone's lives easier and days brighter! The maintenance staff is also amazing, and responds to requests so fast that I don't even have time to change out of pajamas before they are there to save the day! Apartment has only had a few issues, that were quickly solved. The biggest issues I have had were with the sporadic elevators, which have now been fixed for the most part, and with the air conditioning, which got overloaded and stopped working one year, and was out for a month the next year to be replaced. However, both of these issues were taken care of in a timely manner, and there was always communication about the schedule for fixing them! As for the unit itself, I couldn't be happier. It is beautiful, with constant natural light coming in from the huge windows, amazing appliances, quiet neighbors, and high ceilings! Although the rent is high, you won't find a better studio in downtown Bellevue. I was very impressed by the soundproofing on the windows as well, I have had no trouble sleeping in even with a MAJOR construction project going on right outside my window. They have also recently updated the common areas, theater room, and spa. There are lovely places to sit, barbecue, host, and socialize on the fourth floor. Very happy with my time here, and would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a great living experience in Downtown Bellevue!! read more

Due to the pandemic, tours are limited to self-guided tours and virtual tour videos, but I could easily see the leasing office was trying their best to provide as much helpful information as they can under the constraint to inform my decision. Brooke helped me figure out the logistics, from the tour to the leasing documents to move-in details. Brooke and her colleagues were professional throughout the entire process. Any questions I had were answered both precisely and promptly. I'm convinced that Brooke and her colleagues value my time and my experience living here. Look, this apartment has advantages. It's in a convenient location. The appliances are fairly new, although my fridge had discoloration on the door. Let's get into the cons: -Small gym. Compared to other high scale apartment buildings, this one has one of the smallest gyms and limited equipment. -Lots of hidden fees. For instance, if you don't pick up a package within a window, it's $5 a day. Parking is quite expensive, and if you want to store your bike outside of your apartment, it also costs extra. -Guest parking is almost always full. -AC does not work well. This is probably because of all the windows, but it is just impossible to get the temp lower sometimes if you aren't using extra fans. For me, worst so far though, has been the following: -Balcony is unusable. There's some kind of leak (that was not there on my tour) which has been going on for months. I've been told it's because someone above me is watering plants, but the fluid is brown and sticky and stains--to me, it's obviously tannins, which suggested some kind of building leak. For those unaware, this points to some pretty big underlying problems. This leak stained the furniture I had there, and again, has not been looked at since I brought it up a few months ago (no one has offered to come look at it, nor offered solutions). Management just hasn't cared, they want you to renew with no effort on their end, or leave so they can bring in someone who's unaware of the issue. I would seriously choose another place. It is just not pleasant to live here given all these issues, and makes you frustrated because you expect more from something branded as high-end. read more

Our dryer was having issues. As soon as we put in a work order, the maintenance team was very quick to act and schedule an appointment for a replacement. During the replacement appointment Dimico and Jason were very courteous and quick with replacing the washer/dryer unit. I'm getting more attention from Windsor for this review, than when I actually resided at Bravern Party Central. If Windsor had actually attended to legitimate resident issues, reviews like mine would not be written. One other major problem during my tenancy there is in regards to the air-conditioning. It did not work well at all. It failed during really hot periods. The apartment reached 85F one Summer. Again, Windsor failed to fix this issue. They could have offered compensation for this huge mishap but did not. I want to be clear, that the many problems that existed were not the fault of the maintenance team. Sam and Mariano are professionals. They work tirelessly. The problem is with Windsor's so called management team. They are useless. I heard that the most recent reception for the residents was a cup of coffee and a banana. No doubt they ran out of bananas because they do not know how to do Math. Windsor shameful receptions are a sham! read more

Got really sick from the steam room and caught ringworm :( I just signed a lease with Bravern and the management team was outed for a new one as they were taken over by a new property manager. My other half has called to let them know they they have a huge mold risk in the spa room as they just did some upgrading but forgot to cut the holes to the ventilation for the steam room and sauna. This is going to cause them a HUGE bill and maybe even some legal issues if people get steamed up with mold in the steam room and sauna. That can kill you! It's just very dangerous :( I have never had ringworm in my entire life and after I got out of the Steam room my body was violently itching. I've tried to call and ask if they can clean this and fix the ventilation in the rooms as the new siding they put over the outside of the rooms is blocking the air flow.... but after 3 attempts to talk to someone about this we have been told The first time: 1). My other half called and they said "We will let maintenance know about it", but never heard back from them like they said they would. 2). Left a message at concierge regarding my condition after the steam room- still no reply. 3). My other half called again to see if they are going to fix the issue and that they mentioned that they will let the maintenance know... the assistant manager said that there are no requests made to maintenance about the issue :( 4). We spoke with management face to face instead of over the phone and sat down in their office. They were kind and understanding but they still haven't fixed the steam room and sauna ventilation issue! They did clean it thankfully, but that will not solve the issue. (I waited 2 months since we sat down with management to see what would happen... hoping they would take action but I sadly have to write this review.) Also the shower downstairs in the spa room has been broken for over 2 months now too... Its understandable that new management figuring out stuff... but this is a real health risk, they have taken months to not react, and doesn't look good as a first review for your team. I really hope this can be resolved for not only the residents safety and prospective residents but also so The Bravern can continue to be a great place to live and not spiral downhill in quality and integrity. (I have learned that they closed the steam room but this was days after the incident and after they were informed . I hope no one got sick ) read more

My husband and I relocated to Bellevue on September last year and were looking for a central location, nice amenities, and most important a place we could feel safe and at home. I'm glad we gave ourselves the chance to visit the property. It was exactly what we were looking for and what I loved the most was how quick and easy the Leasing team made the entire process. We landed on a Friday, scheduled an appointment for Saturday and that same day we signed our lease and scheduled a move in for Monday. It was that fast. We spent a year in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic and demonstrations across town. During this entire time the team kept us informed and we felt safe. I also appreciated the incredible location which made it easy to walk across Downtown and having the Shops and Restaurants below made the experience really extraordinary. I met really nice people and neighbors and always felt the team looked to make us feel part of a community. The friendly Concierge (I believe his name was Allan) and maintenance staff (Raul was awesome) were always available to help with a smile. Lastly, yet most important, when we gave our notice to vacate as we bought our own place, the team was completely professional and handled each part of the move out process with friendliness. The inspection was super easy and we received our final statement promptly with no incorrect charges aside from the cleaning which is standard. It has been one of my best leasing experiences after renting in different properties across Houston and the Bay Area. I thought I'd pay it forward and reassure others that this is a great choice for someone moving new to the area. read more

Ever since the new management took over there has been terrible customer service and no personalize service. They expect you to do everything via phone and email. When you ask the concierge one thing you get one answer but then you find it sometimes can be something completely different. There seems to be no focus on customer service and the focus seems to be doing the least amount possible. And God knows you never hear from the leasing agent or the management. They recently changed to a new Fob system which only works part time and if you are stranded outside for 20 minutes the concierge really doesn't care (except Mario who is the only shining light) and the other one spends half his time trying to tell you how you should've read your email better. And when you call the concierge there is never any answer because they always seem to be away from the desk. Yet they say there is a concierge service until 11:00. Don't believe it it's a lie. When I went downstairs to ask them specifically the details of the transition I was told something completely different from what actually happened. And instead of owning their mistake and apologizing they tried to push it back on me. read more

Unethical, shady staff that will lie. Shady practices to slap frivolous fees at the time of moving out. No matter how clean you keep your apartment and show it at the time of pre-inspection, it is just that at the time of check out, they have a standard process to levy frivolous charges to extract more money. As of today I am officially moved in to the Bravern- I can't speak to the overall experience yet but I felt a need to write this review to communicate what an absolute pleasure it has been to work with the leasing office and concierge staff. Starting in May when I visited to begin my apartment search, the leasing office has been extremely receptive and quickly responsive to any questions. Special shout out to Stephanie for always having an answer for me, within a day or less, and to Rebecca who helped me on my move in day. Communication is just as important to me as the building and amenities because these are the people I'll have to come to with any questions or issues over the period of my lease, and it's important to me that I can rely on them. These leasing agents are very busy yet take the time to explain intricacies to you so that you are aware of everything you're paying for. Yes there are a lot of fees, or potential fees (i.e. lockout fee, after hours lockout fee, one time package locker registration fee) but these are things I would expect living in a building of this quality, and these are all disclosed up front. Truly you get what you pay for. I was worried that my east-facing apartment (gorgeous Cascades view) that overlooks the highway would be loud but there is no exterior noise in the apartment with the balcony doors shut. My floor the last two days has been very quiet, and I have even met a few of my neighbors who are all friendly and welcoming. Coming from the Midwest I wasn't sure what to expect especially in a high rise downtown building, but everyone I've interacted with has been great. The move in process was as painless as any moving situation can be; there were a few hiccups with the loading dock and freight elevator that the concierge was quickly helpful with. I've already bothered the concierge staff with questions three times today and each time they have been very pleasant. I look forward to being able to update my review once I've used the many amenities available, and once I've lived in my apartment for a while- this really is the nicest building I've ever lived in, and I'm very excited to call it my new home.
