So of course I made my way over and immediately fell in love with the ambiance! The cafe is reasonably large by nyc standards. My group was able to snag some of the comfy chairs in the back. I ordered the iced honey oat latte and loved it. The honey was subtle but did add a lovely touch of sweetness. And of course I need a pastry with my coffee and decided to switch it up and go savory because balance, right? The spinach pastry was AMAZING! Exceeded my expectations and was the perfect snack size- but I almost went back for a second one! Friendly neighborhood cafe that is worth a visit! I've tried this spot years ago (different location) and remember not liking it. I went with the Tres Leches Latte which was cinnamon-y and creamy...but that's about it. You can't really taste the Puerto Rican coffee they use aside from maybe some dark chocolate notes. It's milky more than anything (as I would expect from a drink called Tres Leches) but I hoped it to be more cohesive with a stronger coffee flavor.
