We were seated and they brought out a filtered water in bottle. Very nice. Took a look at menu and felt they were a little overpriced for avocado toast. I opted for the pulls apart cinnamon bites. They were great just a little burnt on the bottom. My parents + my partner and I were a little underwhelmed with this place. There seems to be a lot of places with really high reviews in Las Vegas for a lot of restaurants, but I always question where these reviews are coming from. First off, our server Bianca, wasn't the most charismatic individual. She wasn't mean or anything - but she just wasn't all that energetic or friendly with us. I think servers can greatly impact your experiences at these type of restaurants. I also didn't like that she didn't specify if we wanted rice or noodles for the Jambalaya order. We ordered some drinks. The cocktails in our opinion were a big sugary and not that well-made. We did like the choices they offered, but mehh. Would skip them next time. 6/10 - The Classic Margarita flatbread to us was our least favorite. Straight up it just lacked a lot of flavor and depth. 8/10 - Braised Short Rib. Probably our favorite order out of the three items. It's not hard to mess up mashed potatoes and the short rib itself was pretty tasty. We found it to be expensive however at $28. 7/10 - Jambalaya. Again, wish Bianca had asked if we wanted to choose the rice or pasta. She assumed pasta. It was good, but nothing to write home about. It wasn't really spicy at all, and I feel like this is something you could order at a more generic restaurant that offers this item, but get it for cheaper for how it tasted here. Lastly, it's a bit annoying when there is no mention verbally about there being a difference if paying with cash versus card. We handed her the card when she brought the check, but when we got the check back after she ran the card, we noticed another 4% was tackled on because we used a card. Most credit card processing fees to merchants are between 1.5% to 3%. If we're spending over $100 at your establishment, it seems absurd to penny pinch with these type of charges, and even when your food isn't even that great! Wouldn't return here to be honest with all of the myriad of great options in Vegas. This actually seems like a place to return more for breakfast. read more

We love this place. Everytime we come into town we always make it a priority! Made a 9am reservation for brunch since we had a long layover and we were greeted by Stephanie and she did amazing! Im typically the type to only leave one review when I visit a restaurant, even if I visit multiple times. I always want to leave a positive review about 7th and Carson upon visiting. Liam, the owner, is always walking around greeting customers and asks if anything can be better. Today, we mentioned it was a bit warm inside (of course, Vegas is 100+ degrees and we were sitting by a window) but within minutes, he brought in a fan for us! Our server, Benjamin, was extremely attentive, funny and made sure our mimosas were always full! This is the bottomless mimosas experience everyone should have. I appreciated that they had Heineken 00, the nonalcoholic brew, as am I not drinking at this time! This way, I was still able to get a bloody beer and feel included while my friends drank their bottomless mimosas. Liam and Benji both mentioned that we were their regulars and we appreciated that they recognized us! Besides their service always being astronomical, the food is ALWAYS top tier. I never ever have a complaint. Today we all decided to try something new and we were all very pleased with what we chose. The watermelon salad was devoured within fifteen minutes and the balsamic glaze was an excellent touch and paired well with the arugula and feta. The Greek salad was made with the BEST dressing, I wish I knew the secret. I believe there was a hint of Dijon mustard. The romaine lettuce paired great with the quinoa, cucumbers, red onions & tomatoes. The pizza is always a must at the table, every time. The chili cheese fries and garlic Parmesan fries helped make the meal a balanced one, LOL! Salad and french fries- can't go wrong there. We look forward to coming here a few times a month. I cannot tell if 7th & Carson is good or bad. It is always full when I walk by so I thought to myself, "why not try it out?" I think $20-23 for each plate is ridiculous. The plates are not even worth that price. The pepperoni pizza tasted like the lunchables pizza, they served our potato wedges cold, and this is what they served when we asked for garlic Parmesan cheese fries. They just threw a bunch of minced garlic and Parmesan cheese on top of cold hard fries. It was disappointing. I had the quinoa salad with salmon and it was the only plate that was worth the money. As far as service goes, it was good. They did their best to sit my family and I down in a timely manner even when they were all full. It's an easy way to quickly grab a bite with your friends before or after if they are still open depending on the show. Parking is rather easy the menu is on the small side, but everything is good. Came for dinner with a group of 8. Our server was nice and friendly and knew that substitutions for different sides were no problem. The food came out quickly and was freshly prepared. Burgers disappeared quickly and the short rib dinner was also very good. This is a great place for a reasonably priced meal that's just a few minute walk from the Freemont Street Experience. read more

I had dinner at 7th & Carson recently (I have done brunch more frequently) and I have to say that I had such a great experience. I love their patio - so relaxing and cute - and it's even cuter at night with the lights. My server was Jesus and he was fantastic. Very attentive and friendly. He made sure that my friend and I were comfortable and had everything we needed at all times. My dinner was so delicious. I had the salmon which came with a side of corn hash. This dish was one of the better dishes that I have had in a really long time - the salmon was cooked perfectly (medium), seasoned well, and that corn hash needs to be an available option all the time! I did not have room for dessert this round but I plan to try one of their offerings next round because I am ready for that salmon dish again. The restaurant isn't open late so you'll need to go early for dinner. I didn't realize that we were still sitting there after they had closed and was thankful they let us enjoy for as long as possible. read more

I am so confused as to why this place has so many 5 star reviews. This is why I don't usually trust restaurant reviews. We came in and immediately could feel how warm it was. On a hot 90+ degree weather day, inside the restaurant should not feel hotter. Why are they not cranking the AC in here? They serve you tap water in a cool jar but the water gets warm because it's not served with ice. Does not help when it's so hot inside. We ordered the chili dogs and were pretty bummed out when the chili wasn't homemade but was canned chili. It had that canned "nacho" canned cheese in it, not the good stuff either. They have a pizza oven inside so we ordered a pizza but it was just okay. Overall the food wasn't terrible but not $20 worthy. Every dish is on average about $20+ - for a restaurant to charge $20 per plate, I expect it to taste better, and to be fresh. I could get the same food at a pub for cheaper, better tasting and with some decent AC on. Just saying, I really don't get the hype. Also, if you have kids - it's not kid friendly as they don't have a kids menu. But the service was good! A+ for the service, everything else sucked. read more

We ordered the chicken and waffles and the breakfast pizza. The chicken and waffles was a bit disappointing given the description on the menu. I didn't really taste the korean/ Asian influence and it wasn't that spicy. The breakfast pizza was good. More like a breakfast flatbread. Who doesn't love an excuse to eat pizza for breakfast. Where do I begin? Six of us were at a table this weekend. 4/6 agreed the food was terrible, and over-salted. The gravy had so much salt in it that you'd have thought the salt was fresh out of the Pacific. I had Mongolian Chicken. Rule of thumb in Las Vegas; do not eat Chinese food outside of Chinatown. I am a local and I haven't been successful yet, and certainly was not last night. Lesson learned. Two of my friends didn't even eat their meals, but were afraid to say anything. Oh well. I was military (army), as was a friend (navy), so we were allowed a discount of some sort, but the only person who could actually put the discount on the bill, the manager, was nowhere to be found when we got our checks. Not one of ten employees had permission to do that, so after 10 minutes or more waiting for the manager, I deducted the 10% off of the check, and left cash. My navy friend had to wait, too. It was total slapstick material. Lastly, my friend asked one of the staff to please take a picture of the group. Well, as nice as it was, she took a picture of one side of the table. A picture using an iPhone, nothing more. Picture perfect. If you've made it this far, Congratulations. That's all I've got. Oh wait! The location was great! read more

Came here for brunch on a Friday, we were going to be about 15 minutes late for our reservation and they will still able to accommodate us even though we were a larger group of 8. We sat outside in the patio area (covered). We got bottomless mimosas that were really good because we were able to have several different flavors of juices. With spicy fries chicken over kimchi waffles and corned beef hash that was more of a corned beef sausage patty (delicious!) their food selection is interesting and well worth the drive to downtown. The service was a bit slow but it was also packed full of people and the servers were gracious so it just gave us time to chat a bit more. Overall, would definitely go back. It was ok. We happened to be waiting for our kid to finish up a school function in the area, and wanted a quick bite. We opted to eat outside bc they were expecting a large party inside. I did make reservations on open table, since it was a Friday night, but when we got there, the servers said a reservation wasn't necessary. The servers were nice and on top of things but I think the quantity and price of the food didn't add up for meat eaters. Their fish and chips were ok, kind of greasy and not fried enough to cook the batter. The fries weren't that great. I normally finish allll my fries but I left them. The other two in my party both ordered meat entrees, however their meat portions were pretty tiny, and they were still hungry when we left. I prob wouldn't be back. read more
