    Rigatoni Bolognese
    Vanessa T.

Fantastic choice for off-strip Italian Steakhouse dining. We visited on a Resy reservation for 6pm and were promptly sat. Some of the best service we'd ever experienced in Las Vegas. Our waiter, Josh, kept our glasses full, gave us a history of the restaurant and hotel, and was overall very personable. With his help, we ordered the 20 Layer Lasagna and Rigatoni Bolognese. Both were excellent, thanks to Chef Garcia. The bolognese meat sauce is cooked all day and the rigatoni topped with a crispy pancetta. The portion was generous, and every bite flavorful. The 20 Layer Lasagna was also delightful. Both of our plates were empty in no time. Zio's was kind enough to gift us complimentary chocolates from Ethel M. A sweet touch, but we still opted for more dessert! The Olio Dolce was delicious: an olive oil cake topped with marscapone, poached pear, and a drizzle of olive oil. They also offer a variety of wines, both stateside and Italian. My husband enjoyed his glass recommended by Josh. We sat near the wine cellar and it is a beautiful piece, original to the restaurant. Thoughtful layout allowed for acoustics from the kitchen to travel all of the way to our table. The restaurant is very spacious, perfect for large parties and gatherings. Well designed, clean, and offering top-tier service, Zio's is worth your visit!

This is at the Renaissance hotel. They have a covered parking garage onsite that takes you to the lobby. The restaurant has really nice decor. The waiter was attentive and helpful. The food was some of the best Italian I've had in Vegas. They also had Michigan cider which was an added bonus for me. The place was quiet mid afternoon on a weekday but it was quiet so we didn't mind. I'd recommend this place. They offered validated parking so it was free too as an added bonus.

My friend invited me to Zio's for dinner, and I had such a great experience! The ambience is absolutely beautiful and makes it such a nice spot for a dinner out. I also loved their mocktails--they were delicious and actually felt fun and elevated, which I always appreciate. The food was great too, and I'd definitely come back! Wonderful service too.

We came here for my birthday celebration. Parking was pretty easy and they do validate at the front desk. You need to remember to bring your receipt from the restaurant though. The restaurant is really pretty and has a lot of comfortable seating. The tables are spaced out really well and it has an elegant, open vibe to it. The host was really nice and welcomed us well, giving us info on parking/validation and locals discounts. Our server was super nice and really attentive. The food was really good. We enjoyed the pumpkin pasta and a steak as our mains and started with a fennel salad and arancini. We finished the meal with tiramisu and their version was extremely delicious. Our cocktails were strong and really good. I was actually surprised at the cocktail menu. Super impressed. The only complaint I have was that they never acknowledged the birthday celebration. My husband was going to ask they put a candle in the tiramisu but it was ok. Overall though, we'll be back.

Zio is inside the Renaissance next to the Las Vegas Convention Center WEST Hall. Service is friendly and efficient. The food is delicious. The Cesear salad is dressed (possibly overly dressed) is HUGE. It really should be shared between 2 people or add chicken to make it an entree on it's own. The calamari is delicious - comes out piping hot, not overly breaded or oily at all. The dipping sauce is tangy and light - you'll need another! I like the fried red and yellow bell peppers that accompany it as well. The rigatoni is delightful. The pasta is cooked well. It's a solid go to. The sausage orchiette is also wonderful. A little on the oily side and very little broccolini. I'd probably wouldn't order it again until the ratio is improved. our server gave us complimentary chocolate chip cookies and they were delicious. BIG, crispy/crunchy on the outside but chewy in the middle with generous amounts of chocolate chunks and chips. SO NICE

ambiance, food, and service is 10/10. Shoutout to our server Anthony for making us feel welcome coming from out of state. Would definitely recommend !

First thing first- the service was phenomenal. This is my second time at Zio's and just like the first, the employees were amazingly personable and attentive. We were immediately greeted by Kristian and Joshua, both of whom continuously checked in with me and my boyfriend throughout our dining experience. They knew the menu inside and out and was able to meticulously describe each dish. We ordered two appetizers, two pasta entrees, and a salad- everything was delicious and I'm not even exaggerating. Compliments to the chef, because it's not easy seasoning and perfecting every single dish. I will note, however, if the Crab Spaghettini had a tinge of freshly squeezed lemon on top, it would've slightly elevated the dish. As for the truffle fries, you can definitely taste the truffle and it's not overbearingly strong and salty. I personally love complicated salads that you can't find just anywhere. Everything was paired nicely and I appreciate the slight zest it offered. Overall, we would 100% visit again, if not for the food, then for the service itself. Also- it seems the menu changes ever so often, so if you're contemplating getting that one dish, get it! You might not find it on the menu next time.

The service at Zio's was on another level. Joshua was incredible and single handily heighten our experience. The food was very good and I enjoyed all of the dishes, but except one. Almost a perfect dinner for me. Situated on the first floor of the Renaissance Hotel, Zio's is set right near the lobby of the hotel. With a classic theme mixed with modern decor, you feel like you're in a hotel restaurant, but an elevated one. Zio's does offer validated parking if you park in the Renaissance garage. And while it's tucked away behind an unassuming bar, there are enough signs to help you find the hostess desk. We ordered the following: Truffle Arancini. This was by far the star of the night for us. The delicate hints of truffle with the extra crunch, very well made. Burrata and Beets. This was a miss. I like the idea, but I felt like the execution of the beets made it unpleasantly salty. While I understand the concept of using salt to bring out the natural sweetness of the beets, it didn't work for me because it was too salty against the delicate sweetness of the beets. I like everything else on the dish including the pistachios. Lasagna. Delicious. 20 gentle layers of lasagna was cut into fine strips and then seared on both sides. You have a nice molding flavors, which I enjoyed. Parmesan truffle fries. Well done and the truffle dipping sauce complemented the fries very well. Chocolate cake. Surprise for my daughter's birthday. Very nice and well done. The whipped cream felt home made and the vanilla bean ice cream works very well with everything. Near perfect experience for me. Thank you, Zio's and Joshua, for the experience and hospitality you showed for my daughter's birthday dinner.

The food, service, and ambiance were all exceptional! Our server, Joshua, was an absolute delight and provided some of the best service we've experienced. Toward the end of our meal, Chef Chris personally came out to check on us and surprised us with a raspberry ricotta cake, which was easily one of the best desserts we've ever had. We will definitely be returning and recommending this hidden gem to our friends and family here in Las Vegas. As an added bonus, they validate parking at the front desk and offer a locals discount. Highly recommended!

Wow this restaurant was overall amazing on every level. The interior was gorgeous and such a beautiful spot for a dining experience for a date night, girls night, business dinner or event an event. Impeccable service from Kat, Josh and the Chef. Everyone was very welcoming. Service was unrushed. Absolutely loved hearing the stories behind cocktails from Kat and the great wine pairings Josh suggested. Every bite of food was excellent from the appetizers to the main courses to the desserts. 10/10. Cannot wait to go back and bring friends/family with me.

At first we had a difficult time finding the place because we were expecting to see a big sign but there was none. Locate the Art's Square sign and walk toward the double doors straight ahead. The vibes are very intimate, emphasizes the arts, and every bartender and server is very friendly, even the hostess! First off, loved their menu booklet. I learned a lot about different drinks. I also loved that they had pictures that went with their drinks too. Seriously, lots of options! I also loved that they gave us a little card that had their most popular drinks based on taste. Our check came in a DVD plastic too, super nostalgic. I have not seen one of these in forever. Lol My friend and I ordered our first cocktail off this card and they were both incredible. I ordered the Crimes of Passion and she ordered the Dreamsicle. I like my cocktails sweet and these were both great. We ordered truffle fries off their small bites menu, which was enough to hold us over. For the second cocktail, my friend ordered the Nocturno Espresso. She liked it a lot, but it wasn't my preference since it was just a little bitter. I ordered what my bartender recommended me. I mentioned liking sweet drinks and he asked if I liked strawberries to which I replied "of course!" He made me a cocktail named the "Two Step" that I couldn't find on their menu but it was exactly the kind of drink I was looking for. We recommend making reservations. We tried to walk-in one night and they had a 30 minute wait, so we ended up booking a reservation on OpenTable for another day. They only take reservations for 6 people or less, this place is intimate after all. Looking forward to stopping in again!

They had completely changed the menu. The reason was because they have a new chef. The food was good, we had the spicy tuna, Caesar salad for starters and the Pan Fried Salmon and Hanger Steak for the main course. The Espresso Martini was fantastic! Only complaint is they haven't updated their menu. It would be helpful if their menu was current because this menu was very limited. They didn't have dessert. We were told no a lot on things we asked for. To me, that's bad. The staff was great and the service was good but I probably won't be back.

Our waitress was super friendly and really encouraged us to try some things because we really weren't sure about the menu. She was super attentive and we really appreciated that. The reason I'm giving this a three star review (and I feel bad doing so) is because I genuinely hated the drinks. Like viscerally hated. The menu really was a struggle as someone who's a gin drinker. There wasn't a lot on the menu which I'm often used to, but the drinks were either cloyingly sweet or incredibly tart and bitter. There seems to lack of balance and there were a lot of really weird flavors that really didn't seem to go together. Now I can't speak on every single drink on the menu, but I did try a couple that are either premixed or on tap and I really struggled with them. I was excited about the ginger drink, and I was given a taste of their homemade ginger beer, and it felt like it was going to burn a hole through my stomach. Which is typically not my reaction to anything gender flavored. I just think the balance of flavors are not quite right and so certain things overpowered other flavors. I ended up really not wanting anything on the menu because everything was so rum based and I really don't like rum, so they offered to make me a cocktail with some flavors that I liked. They told me they had passionfruit, which I was really excited about. It usually is a really nice combination of sweet but not too sweet and good fruity flavor. I had a passionfruit gin drink made, and it was absolutely gorgeous coming out. Unfortunately, what I didn't know was that the passionfruit that they have is on the very sour and tart side (contained by a staff member later), which has never been my experience with passionfruit in the past. One of the things that I told the waitress was that I really don't like sour. I like citrus but not something that is so overly sour that it tastes like I'm eating a warhead. And the drink that was made for me had both lemon and this really tart passionfruit to the point all I could taste was this awful sour flavor. I felt bad and drank it and was not about to ask it off the bill because they were so kind about everything. The drink ended up only being nine dollars and I genuinely wonder if they undercharged me, but I felt a lot better that that's all I paid for it. Aesthetically it was beautiful, but it tasted horrible. I tried my friends drink, which was a play on a margarita with Mezcal, and that was also incredibly bitter and sour. I'm not someone who needs disgustingly sweet drinks, hence me not liking rum, but I do need a balance of sweetness with the other flavors. My friend thought her drink was OK, but she said she wouldn't order it again. I would definitely give this location another shot if I could figure out a drink that would work, but it seems their drinks either are very sour or very sweet and I'm hoping that at some point they will be able to find a good balance between the two.

My absolute favorite bar of all time! 1000000000000000/10!!!…read more I could live at Dark Sister!!! It is my go to place to hang out with the girls on a night out! If I am in the arts district, I am at Dark Sister (if they're open... sometimes I'm there in the day and they are not open yet and I am sad. lol) It's moody, it's witchy, it's got all the Goth eclectic goodness! I love how it is decorated!!! It's giving dark academia, mixed with a séances, sprinkle in a little bit of dried flowers and top it with a tarot card. They have such a variety of seating, they have large loungey couches in the front, smaller couches with chairs and tables as you go inside, long and larger tables for larger groups in the back, a massive bar area with seating, as well as a gorgeous patio with bar seating as well as tables and loungey bench areas. It is comfy, cozy, and an amazing place to just chill and hang out. The music is always perfect. The lighting is the perfect dark dim. I have never felt more at home somewhere in my life. It is my happy place. It doesn't matter what I'm doing. If I go there it makes me happy! I absolutely love that they have a mocktail menu and that they rotate the drinks every season. I don't drink and also a lot of my friends don't either and their mocktail menu is a winner every single time, I've never had a drink there that I did not enjoy. Honestly, I would love if they had more mocktail options than they already do. I'm really glad that they added snacks!! Their snack tray is amazing I get it almost every time I'm there. The only thing I would like is for there to be more variety of snacks! I do love the chocolate covered espresso beans but somehow, I am the one that ends up finishing them and then I don't sleep... which is definitely a me problem but like... they're addictive man... we need something else chocolate, like, of course keep the chocolate covered espresso beans, but like maybe chocolate covered raisins or chocolate covered berries? If you guys added a charcuterie board... take our money!!! My friends, and I would never leave, Take all our money!! Like a witchy charcuterie board!! I absolutely love that they have an outdoor patio now!!! It is stunning! Being witchy in the fall is going to be amazing there!!! I've been going there since they opened and from the moment I walked in I was in love. I have watched as this bar has continued to grow, and it only gets better with age. I adore the staff, they are so sweet! They have always been nothing but kind and caring. If something is going down outside, they are locking us in and keeping us safe. I was there one time when there was a shooting going on outside and they immediately locked the doors until it was safe for us to leave. I appreciate how much they take safety seriously! I really love that every single time I go there it seems that they have added something new to make it an even more fun experience! They have a lot of really awesome places to take photos! Definitely cute place to have a girly witchy photo shoot! They do a lot of of events and classes, I haven't been able to go down for one of their events/classes yet, but I'm really dying to go take one of the crafty witchy classes! I love that they're not only a bar, but they're also trying to build community! Dark Sister is absolutely perfect. PERFECT. It is all I have ever wanted and more in a space. The outside patio was covered and had a 2nd bar out there which was very nice. Once we sat down, someone came over to let us know to order at the bar. Once we ordered, we got our drinks very quickly. I can't remember what I got, but 1 of my friends got the spicy drink that comes in a skull glass with 2 peppers to look like horns, loved the presentation! We had great service from the hostess to the bartender! There was a place across the way playing live music, so that was nice in the space. Not sure if we could hear music out there without it. I thought the prices were pretty average for a bar downtown. We also gave the photo booth a try inside and came away with 2 great strips. Great place to stop in for a drink!

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.

It was the integrity behind every moment. Before the séance began, Kent took the time to explain the experience, set thoughtful expectations, and acknowledge the emotional weight of what some audience members might feel. That level of care is incredibly rare. It was clear he wasn't trying to manipulate emotions or convince anyone of anything. Instead, he created a space where curiosity, wonder, and respect could exist together. His passion for his craft is unmistakable, but it's his character that makes the show unforgettable. In a city known for spectacle, Kent reminded me that the most powerful performances come from authenticity. I left feeling more than entertained. I left genuinely moved. If you're looking for an experience that makes you think, feel, and reflect long after the show ends, this is it. I'll absolutely be back.

I feel like this place can be easily missed since the building is all black, but definitely worth stopping in for. Vibes are very dark and intimate, yet lively. I am not sure how to explain it, but I liked it. Lol Somehow you can make a reservation, but I haven't looked into it. There were a bunch of seating against the wall on the couches but they were all reserved. My friend and I ended up at the bar in the "standing room" which was fine! Their seasonal menu is Conspiracy Theory based. I from that menu and my drink was called the Moon Landing Hoax, which was recommended to me but pretty strong in my opinion. I will say that the aesthetic of the drink was super cool with the astronaut. My friend ordered from their regular menu. She enjoyed her Repo Espresso Martini and she would order that again! All in all, I still like this bar a lot! I would come back again.

We were sat at a super cute table (there were 4 of us) and looked through the menu. The decor was super cute! Sort of old vintage looking couches around some tables, dim lighting, I loved the vibe. We each ordered something different from their cocktail menu from our very nice server. While waiting for those, our friend went to close out the tab and ordered shots, but asked for something that would be good. They proceeded to give us something with muddled strawberries, I was blown away at how good it was! Best shot I have ever had, so fresh. I love when you give bartenders freedom to play and create something so good! Our cocktails were so interesting and very tasty. I'd love to come back when we have some more time and try some of the other drinks. Everything about this place was amazing to me! Vibe, staff, the drinks, I had a great time!
