Put the fries in the bag
    Angela L.

This is a no frills simple smashed style burger place. It's small inside with a few metal tables. They only serve fries and burgers (single or double) that come with cheese, special sauce, grilled onions, and a pickle. A lady at the register took our order. There's a fridge where you can pick your own bottled or can drink (soda and water). She was nice and told us it would be 20 minutes. Sure enough in 10 minutes she handed us a bag. I had ordered a single cheeseburger with everything. The bun was soft and fluffy. The meat to bun ratio was ok but the meat was very thin. The sauce added needed flavor to the otherwise bland meat but overpowered any of the cheese flavor. The grilled onions were sweet and the single pickle added some texture. The fries were hot and crispy. The price is pretty good, under $7 for a single burger.

First time trying 7th Street after hearing so many good things, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The burgers were so good.

I'm surprised it's taken me so long to try 7th Street Burger. I used the app to order and my food was ready on time. Restaurant has a limited menu consisting of burgers and fries as they know what they perfected and that's what you will get. Great place for a smash burger I really enjoyed it. You can tell the meat is good quality. I do feel that it's a bit pricey but will go back again when in the mood for a nice juicy burger.

I love their fries and burgers! It's always juicy and so flavourful you just can't get enough. Also love that they serve Mexican coke which is way better than the can soda you can buy anywhere. Service is always good and usually a seat but sometimes a wait - that's how you know it slaps!!

So I totally missed the 7th Street special event bc it happened to fall on my birthday and I totally lost track of the free burger, fries and drink but I lucked out bc I happened to check the app on the 7th and they were giving a free cheeseburger on the 7 @ 7th!

Burger and fries were delicious, especially after a late night of drinking. The staff were friendly and the food came out very quickly! Tables were available and clean. Food so good, camera didn't eat.

Went around noon for lunch and was not crowded. Was told it would be about 8 mins and received my order in exactly 8 mins! The burger...very greasy and delicious, the fries were a good amount, and crispy as advertised. Give it a try and get plenty of napkins

    Pretty sterile setup

The burgers are small and lean heavily on grease to do the work. Smash-style crust is there, but it's doing all the lifting. Flavor is one-note, and by the end you're just aware of the oil. Fries are serviceable, nothing more. The space is spotless but oddly joyless. Very sterile. No warmth, no character, no sense that anyone cares if you stay longer than it takes to eat. In and out, mission accomplished. $25 for two small cheeseburgers, fries, and two sodas is technically market rate in NYC, but that doesn't make it feel good when the food doesn't rise above average. Not bad enough to avoid. Not good enough to seek out.

They have such a cute table set up. Quick and friendly service. Good tastes fresh and delicious. 10/10 Will definitely be back soon !

Greasy, gooey, old fashioned style juicy burger! The fries were hot and extra crispy. Beverage choices are limited. No diet soda. The counter guys were super friendly and had a good rhythm going. The place was packed but the line kept moving and the food was coming out pretty quickly. There are a good amount of tables and stools to sit out. Keep an eye out for it, the store front isn't that big so it's easy to walk by.

Ordered double smash and fries. Takes awhile for food to come but its fresh and made to order. Fries are crispiest and seasoned really well. Burgers looks really good, but upon eating it, there's a lot of fat and small hard tendon crumbs in their patties. Not the best quality ground beef, but flavor is there. Spent a few bites spitting out lot of bad bits. Place is clean and close to subway stop.

    Cheeseburger and fries

Popped in for a quick bite after a movie and it delivered exactly what we wanted: quick, cheap eats. The burger was flavorful, and the fries were super crispy and nicely salted, definitely a highlight. The burger was exceptionally greasy. Like, over-the-top greasy, which took away from the overall experience. It felt unnecessarily drenched, even by fast food standards. Ambiance-wise, it's clean and bright almost, with a sterile, borderline institutional vibe. Not a place you'd linger, but it gets the job done for a quick bite. Verdict: Great for a greasy fix, but probably not your go-to unless you're craving fast, drunk food.

Oh boy. I went from: Damn, when is this place gonna open to, Damn, you guys got to go. What will my life be now? Eating cheeseburgers every day? This place is DANGEROUS. Good luck to everyone with no self-control. Good luck to everyone's diet! I bit into the burger and Ginuwine's Pony started playing in the background; good thing I took it to go and ate in private. Seriously, this place slaps. Fresh, simple, no gimmicks. Classic smash, greasy, meaty, cheesey, oniony, saucey, and a pillowy bun. If you like it spicy, get the jalapenos. If you like it dirty, get it extra sauced. Service was friendly and quick, about 5 tables with a stool. Bare bones inside; I'd love if the walls had a little personality! 10 of the 10 stars, but to keep my cardiologist happy, I'm allowing myself 7th Street once a month. See ya around August! Welcome to FH!

By the time I remembered to take a picture, the damage had already been done. I've been to Golden K Burgers a few times now, and it has quietly become one of my favorite burger spots. It's a Korean-American burger joint with a cozy diner feel inside. Nothing overly flashy, just great vibes, a comfortable atmosphere, and a staff that always greets you with a warm smile that makes you feel welcome. Over the times I've been here, I've tried the Farmhouse Burger, Big Kahuna Burger, BBQ Chip Burger, and the A1 Burger. Honestly, they've all been excellent. But somehow... I keep coming back to the A1 Burger. Now I know what some of you are thinking. "A1 sauce? Really? There are so many better burger sauces than A1!" I actually agree! A1 has never been my first choice for burgers. But my goodness... whatever magic they're working here just works! The two juicy beef patties, perfectly marinated mushrooms and onions, melted Swiss cheese, tangy A1 sauce, and soft buttery brioche bun come together like a perfectly conducted symphony. Every ingredient has its role, and none of them overpower the others. The mushrooms bring an earthy richness, the onions add sweetness, the Swiss cheese gives it that creamy nuttiness, and then the A1 sauce swoops in with just enough boldness to wake up your palate without stealing the show. Funny enough, every topping on this burger (except the A1 sauce) is exactly what I'd normally choose for any burgers anyway, yet the A1 somehow becomes the finishing touch that ties everything together! Another thing I really appreciated was how well the burger was constructed. It held together beautifully from the first bite to the last without collapsing into a soggy mess. That's an underrated quality that deserves recognition. The fries were also fantastic because they weren't buried under a mountain of salt like so many places do. I actually found myself wondering if they'd fry them a second time upon request because I love my fries extra crispy. I guess I'll have to ask next time! I've also had their 12-piece Buffalo Wings before. I wouldn't say they're the best wings I've ever had, but they're definitely very good. They came out crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, marinated evenly with buffalo sauce (dry) that had just the right balance of buttery richness, tanginess, and heat. They were satisfying without being overly greasy. From the outside, Golden K Burgers probably doesn't scream, "This is one of NYC's best burger joints!" But trust me when I say this: you'll find yourself craving it again very soon. And to me, that's the highest compliment I can give any restaurant. There are plenty of places that impress you once. The truly great ones are the ones that make you want to come back! Give Golden K Burgers a try! Highly recommended!

Since we were dining in, they gave us a table number and we placed it in the holder so staff know where to bring the food. Our order didn't take very long to arrive to our table, just about 10 minutes. After finishing your meal, you bus your own table. The menu has options for burgers, hot dogs, fries, salads, shakes, floats, and desserts. I ordered a Yellow Label Burger ($13.45) and a Strawberry shake ($6.75). My husband and I shared a Farm Salad ($9.75). The Yellow Label Burger comprises of USDA Prime Beef, homemade fried mac n cheese patty, lettuce, tomato on a potato bun. This was delicious! I liked how after biting into the crispy, breaded exterior it gives way to a hot, molten cheese center that oozes perfectly over beef. The Farm Salad which consisted of spring mix, tomato, blue cheese crumbles, sliced almonds, dried cranberries, and raspberry vinaigrette on the side was also very very very tasty, fresh, and a good portion. The strawberry shake was also very good and had pieces of strawberries. Black Label Burgers pride on only using USDA Prime Angus beef that comes from a single source, Double R Ranch, located in Washington State, a family-owned farm known for its responsible practices and superior beef. You can definitely taste the richness and juiciness of the beef. My husband had the Red Label Burger ($13.25) and the PB&J shake ($7.75). He really enjoyed his meal as well. I really liked the inside decor and the laid back vibes. Black Label Burgers is great for a quick lunch, a night out with friends, or a family dinner. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and the place was busy, always a good sign. I liked the local (Long Island) themed decor, friendly service, spacious parking lot, wide variety of self-serve beverages (tangy lemonade - yay!) and nicely padded booths. Definitely a cut above competitors like Shake Shack in that regard. I chose the signature black label burger made with dry aged beef and regular fries. While the hand cut fries were wonderfully crispy and flavorful, the burger was kind of disappointing - not terrible, but the bun tasted stale and the meat was very bland. Also I ordered the burger cooked medium but it came out pink in the center, not my preference for chopped meat. Maybe I ordered the wrong item? I plan to try other menu items in the future to see if they hit my taste buds differently.
