Our favorites are the brisket fried rice and the lobster fried rice we also always get the Short rib dumplings (pan fried) to start, they are so delicious and I love the sauce they put on. It's not close to the side of town we're on which is far north west, Skye Canyon,, but we feel it's worth it! The waitstaff is always very attentive and knowledgeable when it comes to the menu. We actually come here often enough that we are very familiar with the menu and we always know exactly what we want to eat and drink! Sorry this review is so late but every time we go to Fremont Street we eat, have drinks and then we have a good time so I get sidetracked and forget to finish reviewing lol Overall, this is a really great restaurant. Very good restaurant if you're craving Asian food. I came over here massively hungover and this was exactly what I needed. Great decor, ambience and staff. Very attentive and friendly. We got the brisky dumplings, pan seared. I Was expecting the small din tai fung sized ones with little filling, but these were FAT dumplings, with good amounts of brisket inside. WE got the brisket fried rice - also very good, and the garlic noodles. I really liked the char that the noodles and rice had. Only thing for me is that the fried rice and noodles seemed to have a little too big much oil in it. I don't think that's an indictment on 8 east itself, but more of a general Chinese/Taiwanese cooking method. But other than that, I would certainly come back again. read more

We had a great dinner: Pad Thai with Shrimp (entree), Pork Belly Bao (small dish), Duck Rolls (small dish), and Green Beans (small dish). The small dishes were perfect for sharing between the two of us. Every dish was tasty, my favorite was the Duck Rolls (a unique wrap with shredded duck, hoisin, green onions, and cucumber). Nestled in the 2nd floor corner or Circa, this place brings the surprises. The staff is super friendly and helpful offering recommendations and also providing fast food delivery and service. I've never had my water filled this much. Starting with the dan dan noodles, they had the perfect texture and flavor with just a hint of spice. They also offer various bottles of spine sauces that you can add to any of their offerings by request. The brisket fried rice was a revelation with its perfect ratio of ingredients to rice, texture, and just overall flavor the dumplings were delicate on top and just lightly fried on the bottom with a super flavorful filling and sauce to end the meal, the honey toast was a literal melt in your mouth offering, which definitely takes two people to finish. Lamb lollipops were a bit more spicy than i remember but they are so tender & delicious it didn't stop me. First time trying dessert and it was bigger than expected. He recommended the Brisket Fried Rice! It was so good. The other must try would be the Beef Short Rib Potstickers. So good and juicy! I didn't have a reservation and i was immediately seated and served very fast and efficiently which i was very surprised by. They focus on smaller plates, you can grab your "bigger plate" being one of their fried rices or noodles, and their smaller plates being the proteins or appetizers- i ordered various plates such as the brisket fried rice, cucumber salad, potstickers, cumin lamb chops, ect which i love the concept of the small plates. This was one of the better Chinese restaurants I've tried. Standouts were the pickled cucumbers and the short rib dumpling. I also enjoyed the string beans and would order them again. Service was spot on, and the food was delivered almost too quickly. We were shocked that everything was at our table within what felt like under 5 minutes. I visited 8East at Circa and found both the staff and the overall atmosphere very welcoming. The menu focuses on small, shareable plates, so I tried several starters along with a main dish. I began with the Cucumber Salad. The flavors were refreshing, but the cucumbers were cut long and thick, which kept them from really soaking up the dressing. Next, I tried the Crispy Pork Belly Bacon. The pork belly itself was incredible--tender, rich, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. However, I wasn't a big fan of the tamarind sauce that accompanied it. The Wings were cooked well but tasted fairly plain and a bit underwhelming in terms of flavor. I wrapped up with the Sizzling Noodle with Pork, which was the highlight of the meal. It was flavorful and satisfying, though I'll warn future diners: the extremely long noodles make serving a bit chaotic--I managed to fling pork and sauce onto myself in the process. I made a reservation for 4 at 7:30 pm. But I was able to reschedule to 8:30 pm as we were running late. The host took us to our table and he was nice even we were more late. The restaurant was small & looked cleaned with nice wall decors. We just ordered a tea pot of green tea. We told the server that we were eating like a family style. He recommended how many items on a small plate to share. We started with the salt & pepper chicken wings then brisket fried rice, pork belly bao, short ribs dumplings. Since there were 2 pieces of bao, we ordered another plate. The food came pretty quick & hot. The fried rice was sooo good. There was a mild kick on the wings. The food was delicious. not too far East Although there were other food options within Circa, as well as in Downtown Las Vegas, we (interestingly enough) chose to eat lunch twice during our stay in early March 2025. LOCATION / SETTING Circa Hotel and Casino, 2nd floor near Saginaw's Deli. The restaurant is rectangular and long, with seating available at the bar/"kitchen counter" or various tables. Thankfully, the restaurant wasn't crowded on both days we visited, and we were seated immediately. FOOD The menu is fairly simple, and is comprised of small plates, entrees, and desserts. From the small plates section, we tried the stir-fried green beans and the pork belly bao (2 pieces). At both meals, my friend and I both ordered the sizzling noodles. We definitely preferred the green beans over the pork belly bao; we thought $14 was a bit much for 2 bao pieces. The green beans was a very shareable portion for sure. As far as the noodles, the server advised to make sure to mix the dish thoroughly, as all the sauce is sitting at the bottom of the bowl. The noodles/dish were flavorful, and I appreciated the generous serving of vegetables and protein (chicken) that accompanied the dish. SERVICE Our servers were polite and friendly. As soon as you walk in, the ambience completely shifts from the bright casino floor of the Circa Resort & Casino to a dimly lit, mellow space filled with rich reds and warm wood finishes. It's an immediate vibe change in the best way. We sat at the bar at 8 East and Jimmy took great care of us. He answered all our questions in a friendly, relaxed way that felt more like chatting with a knowledgeable friend than being "served." My water stayed full the whole time, and the hot-pressed green tea was delightful. The Thai beef jerky is absolute fire--literally. I'm pretty sensitive to spicy food, but it was still one of the best versions of Thai jerky I've ever had. And that's saying a lot because I'm a big fan of that dish. The butter mushrooms were unforgettable. The flavor is incredible and they melt in your mouth. I will absolutely be ordering this every time I visit. I also tried the cucumber salad, which was completely different from any cucumber salad I've had before. Light, refreshing, and really unique. The highlight of the meal though was the lamb lollipops--perfectly cooked and simply seasoned with cumin, salt, and pepper. Sometimes simple is best, and they nailed it. Overall: easy 5 stars. The next dish we had was the brisket fried rice which was exceptional... I could've ordered another one of those for just me lol. Finally we got the wings. I wish I remembered the name of them but they're the other ones... not the salt and pepper. The server recommended them and said they've been a special and they finally put them on the menu. This was my personal favorite dish. Although they were all absolutely delicious, the wings were so unique and bursting with flavor. I also grabbed a glass of wine which was very reasonably priced. I started with a non-alcoholic Asahi (loved that they had N.A. options, including wine!) and my partner tried the purple tea, which was super tasty.
