    Happy Hour menu, 7/6/26
    Trev L.

Went for Happy Hour and ordered one of all the happy Hour specials. Everything was good; my fave was the pork belly bacon, but my friends thought it was too fatty. Green beans were very good; can be made with ground pork or chicken (we got pork). The Carpacio came out first and it was awesome- thinly sliced and dressed sauce drizzle and nuts. My least favorite was the chicken wings - a little bland for me, even with the chili sauce.

First time in, and we had a great impression. Sat at the counter. Greeted right away by James C. We're not rushed. He went over their Tapas Style of serving and specials. He recommended the Brisket Fried Rice! It was so good. The other must try would be the Beef Short Rib Potstickers. So good and juicy! The rest of the food was good mind you but the Duck Rolls were tasty but a tad dry. And the Lamb Chops were cooked more than my liking, I felt they needed sauce or at least a dressing on the dry shredded cabbage. Can't call it slaw because it was Not! So we watched to line cooks did their thing and the food comes out in waves and piping hot! The decor is a modern Asian Fusion! We had a couple drinks and the Only Whiskey drink in the list was One Night In Hong Kong! It was quite tasty!

We did a little staycation at Circa and though we were downtown with so many places to eat we were lucky enough to find things we love at 8 East. The ambiance is really chill. I just wish the chairs were a little more comfy. Everyone that works there is very friendly and gave great recommendations. Food comes fresh and warm to enjoy. Everything from the popular fried rice to the pork buns were delicious. My personal favorite I got each time we went is the short rib dumplings. I got them pan fried and the horseradish sauce was perfect to go with the dumplings. If you're in the downtown area and in the mood for some Asian cuisine, check this place out!

Nestled in the 2nd floor corner or Circa, this place brings the surprises. The staff is super friendly and helpful offering recommendations and also providing fast food delivery and service. I've never had my water filled this much. Starting with the dan dan noodles, they had the perfect texture and flavor with just a hint of spice. They also offer various bottles of spine sauces that you can add to any of their offerings by request. The brisket fried rice was a revelation with its perfect ratio of ingredients to rice, texture, and just overall flavor the dumplings were delicate on top and just lightly fried on the bottom with a super flavorful filling and sauce to end the meal, the honey toast was a literal melt in your mouth offering, which definitely takes two people to finish. I would definitely return and try other items in this restaurant.

This is a staple for me and my husband. There's something here for everyone. The service is great and food is always fresh and delicious. Get the brisket fried rice and honey toast with ice cream.

I've yet to have a bad experience at 8 East. I prefer to sit at the bar to watch how seamless the kitchen moves. Lamb lollipops were a bit more spicy than i remember but they are so tender & delicious it didn't stop me. First time trying dessert and it was bigger than expected. Tea soaked lady fingers sounded interesting. The taste wasn't as in your face like it is with a traditional tiramisu. At least gave the dessert a lightness.I wasn't expecting.

I was staying at the circa during the super bowl and decided why not just check this place out! I didn't have a reservation and i was immediately seated and served very fast and efficiently which i was very surprised by. They focus on smaller plates, you can grab your "bigger plate" being one of their fried rices or noodles, and their smaller plates being the proteins or appetizers- i ordered various plates such as the brisket fried rice, cucumber salad, potstickers, cumin lamb chops, ect which i love the concept of the small plates. I was very excited to try out the cumin lamb chops but ohhh boy that lamb was drenched in cumin they were not playing on that (i would maybe recommend to ask easy on the cumin) ! but overall, service was great, food is great, im happy and i would recommend the experience :) (only downside is the chairs are madly uncomfortable)

Wanted to try 8 East since Circa opened in 2020. Worth the wait. Brisket fried rice is next level. Also, enjoyed the short rib dumplings fried...A nice change of pace from the standard chicken or pork dumplings you see all the time. Great fast friendly service. If on Fremont this is your fast casual Asian spot!

This spot is a fresh little take on Asian cuisine that has several different fun dishes for you to try. It's located in an unassuming area of the casino lobby, but don't be fooled because the flavors here are outstanding. We tried the lobster fried rice, which was quite expensive but was actually quite good. I wouldn't go running back for the expensive fried rice, but I would to go try other dishes.

Located in the Circa casino, 8 East offers pan Asian style tapas that are served quick and hot. Our order included the short rib dumplings, salt and Szechuan pepper chicken wings, and pork belly bao buns. Don't let the portion sizes full you, this was plenty for a party of 2! Great service and a cool location. Very reasonable prices!

So happy to have found 8 East while staying at Circa for a long work trip! Such a cute interior with both regular and bar seating. Service was quick and attentive both times I visited. The bao buns, short rib dumplings and cucumber salad were to die for - I would be happy with just those 3 dishes every time! I did try a noodle dinner special one night and it was pretty good as well. Love that they have happy hour, but I do wish they had to-go/takeout!

    Pickled cucumbers

This was one of the better Chinese restaurants I've tried. Standouts were the pickled cucumbers and the short rib dumpling. I also enjoyed the string beans and would order them again. Service was spot on, and the food was delivered almost too quickly. We were shocked that everything was at our table within what felt like under 5 minutes. It was both impressive and also muddled the meal a bit. With it being more dim sum/tapas style it would have made each dish standout better if we could focus a bit longer between plates.

8 East at Circa Hotel is a gem in Downtown Las Vegas. The service was warm, upbeat, and incredibly attentive. Our server knew the menu well and gave great recommendations without being overbearing. We ordered the Brisket Fried Rice, Cumin Lamb and Short Rib Dumplings. Everything was balanced and well seasoned. But the Brisket Fried Rice was the star of the show. The ambiance is modern, energetic, and stylish. It's the perfect spot whether you're on a date, grabbing drinks and bites with friends, or just looking to enjoy a great meal before hitting the casino. Highly recommend!

They use many different spices in many different dishes. Ask the servers about specific dishes if it's a concern. They are super conscious of allergens and sensitivities and…

Can my food credit from the club one be used here?

Yes. My wife and I have used it at the bars or restaurants in Circa casino.

    Do they validate for parking?

No validation.....parking is very expensive at Circa. You can park for free at the Main Street Hotel & Casino parking lot one block away. Check them out if you want free parking.

Is there a price difference when placing a reservation for dining room vs private dining?

We got a regular reservation for 4 when we got there they put us in the private dinning area which was nice!

Currently, what time is happy hour?

    Is there a happy hour?

Yes. monday - thursday 3-5 pm

Walked in at around 8:30/9pm and it was pretty dead. My friend and I were able to secure a booth, which felt intimate. It was ample space for 2 people but I can imagine if you had 4 people you'd feel squished. My friend ordered the Naked & Afraid and I ordered the Tropical Howler with vodka. Both of our cocktails were amazing and we'd order them again. If you like sweet cocktails, Tropical Howler is definitely for you. We both ordered a shot of the Mind Eraser, which had coffee liqueur I believe, I am not sure but you could taste the coffee and it was pretty good. Our bartender gave it to us with straws so you could probably sip it like a cocktail or take it like a shot. We liked the vibes in here due to its dark and intimate feel. We probably would have gotten a different vibe if we didn't have our own booth. I would come here again!

Pricy, as expected in Vegas, but a nice time for my husband and I in a unique decor. The host out front selected for us a cozy little settee and cocktail table in a lovely room away from the main traffic and activity of the bar. He was brightly cordial and had a fun sense of humor. Jennifer, our magnificently poised and attentive server, gave us helpful descriptions of various cocktails and answered questions about navigating around the cheese allergy. She understood the dilemma that presented and kindly focused on helping us find a cocktail to enjoy. Two cocktails caught my eye so we asked for Jennifer's opinion. She said she loved the presentation of one of these in particular, The No. 5. She said it was the prettiest drink they had and offered a good quantity cocktail with a really fun look. It was a pretty pink concoction served on a silver platter in a Chanel No 5 bottle adorned with a black Vanderpumps branded satin bow. The dreamy pink liquid was to be poured over ice and sipped through a golden straw. The blend of ingredients were perfectly balanced and very tasty. The mint garnish brought a bit of sparkly to the blend. The menu describes like this: "THE NO. 5 10 oz / 34.95 What Do You Wear to Bed? Cognac - Diplomatico Dark Rum - Coconut Rum Elderflower - Pineapple - Lemon - Pear - Angostura" The cocktail was perfectly balanced and no one flavor took over the drink, instead the variety of the ingredients came together as a team to create a delightfully nuanced experience for the taste buds. The decor at Vanderpump was a complicated mix of Victorian ephemera and whimsical art and "antiques". It was a bit vintage bordello meets romance set in an antiques collective inspired bar. The colors were rich burgundy and black with loads of roses and crystal with velvet fabrics festooned with flowers. We gave a four star rating for two reasons, ones completely unrelated to staff, service or quality of cocktails. The cheese saturation in menu selections was a disappointment for us and other lactose challenged folks I'm sure. The second factor did affect the ambiance a lot. When we arrived the music was so fitting for the setting so much that it's hard to give perfect examples of songs played. It had perfectly supported the whole theme. It was a bit bluesy and maybe some soft pop or jazz tunes. It was appropriately background, still fun, but not distracting to the whole experience. For the majority of the remainder our visit, the mood music more resembled a rave than a Parisian timeless multi sensory experience. We found this disappointing as well. In spite of this, Jennifer's care for us was a highlight of the experience. She was even kind enough to suggest she take a photo of us. She even chose a background for us. We definitely made a special memory. Thanks Jennifer.

We were seated at the bar and had a nice time interacting with the cocktail craftsman/man in charge, Davey. The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.

We were sat at a super cute table (there were 4 of us) and looked through the menu. The decor was super cute! Sort of old vintage looking couches around some tables, dim lighting, I loved the vibe. We each ordered something different from their cocktail menu from our very nice server. While waiting for those, our friend went to close out the tab and ordered shots, but asked for something that would be good. They proceeded to give us something with muddled strawberries, I was blown away at how good it was! Best shot I have ever had, so fresh. I love when you give bartenders freedom to play and create something so good! Our cocktails were so interesting and very tasty. I'd love to come back when we have some more time and try some of the other drinks. Everything about this place was amazing to me! Vibe, staff, the drinks, I had a great time!

The indoor space is sexy and dark, beautifully designed with lots of velvet and rich textures all around. In a cool contrast, the back patio is a bright, vibrant mix of pink, turquoise, and white. While you're out there, be sure to snap a picture in their photo booth! The staff here is simply INCREDIBLE! They are always so welcoming and do a fantastic job of helping walk you through the menu. Because the cocktail menu changes frequently with unique, rotating themes, you get a completely fresh experience every single time you visit. On my last trip, the theme was music through different eras of time, which was easily one of my favorites yet. They also have standard house cocktails, be sure to check out the punch of the day! Before you leave, don't forget to check out their cool merch and swag, which is beautifully framed up on the wall right behind the bar. No matter where you are staying in Vegas, make sure to put Velveteen Rabbit at the very top of your destination list!

The atmosphere is sophisticated and intimate, making it the perfect spot for a high-end night out. Our server, Jessica provided top-notch service, she was professional, attentive, and incredibly welcoming throughout the evening. They even surprised us with complimentary snacks and cocktail shots, which was such a generous and thoughtful touch that made our night feel even more special! The small bites we ordered were also absolutely delicious and paired perfectly with our drinks. Sure, it is known; however, it was surprisingly not that busy for a Friday. We were seated at a shell like booth and this space between the back side of the Players Club and the Cash cage, is a lovely and elegant place. Is it expensive? yes. Most other fine establishments are also expensive in Vegas. It is what it has become. Is that good? Probably not; however, it does give you the opportunity to experience something unique and special. Although we had one server, the servers worked very well together throughout our 90 minutes here and really team assisted with each other. Between the two of us, we had three drinks. You can page through the very detailed menu, and I decided to have the Passion's Serenade drink, which was a glass partially frozen with a coconut and passionfruit puree and then also had some chocolate rum, vanilla and fresno chili. It was a delicious drink, and actually was a great "sit back and wait" drink, because it took a while for the frozen portion to melt. The experience comes with some complimentary bar snacks and then some complimentary mini jello shots on the way out. The check is presented in an exquisite "Vault" Type of book. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would return again in the future. Expect drink prices to range from about $30 to $70, with some even higher for the "market price" drinks.
