We ordered the short rib plate and the Tasilog plate and lumpia Shanghai- washed it down with Calamansi juice. Everything was delicious, 10/10. The owner came out to check on us and she was so kind, hospitable and shared some history with us on how Lola Betty's came to be. From food truck to walk up, she said that some people really preferred or hoped for a sit down restaurant. I don't have a preference. I only love the soul and passion that is poured into one's food. Love, soul and passion can be found here. The owner says, "I just really wanted a place where you can really be attentive and really take the time to cook the food the way it should be made". I can tell that she loves what she does and she thanked us for trying their food. I wanted to thank HER for feeding us! If I forgot to thank her, here it is.
