I had booked a massage on a Tuesday and noticed a yoga studio right down the hall that was starting a yoga therapy class. I checked the schedule and made a mental note to take the 8:15 am vinyasa flow class the following day. Four classes later, I highly recommend this studio, which just opened Saturday. The offerings mirror the mission of 808 Wellness Center. I enjoyed two vinyasa flow classes (with Chelsea and Christina), Shamanic Healing Meditation (with Sara) and HIIT Pilates (with Elise). All of the teachers were well-trained and gave clear instruction. I particularly enjoyed: - Chelsea's alignment cues and weaving of a theme thoroughout the class - Sara's depth of knowledge of the medicine wheel and ability to lead us through meditation, breathwork, medicine wheel contemplation and journaling (all in 75 minutes) - Elise's tough but fun Pilates workout - Christina's slow flow class to help us recover from HIIT Pilates. My entire experience was amazing! I called the morning of the day I hoped to have an appointment and was scheduled within an hour! The location was beautiful, serene and safe. My massage therapist, Odyssey, was not only beyond professional, but took the extra time to make sure I was comfortable and safe, which being a mental health therapist is vital to me. Odyssey provided honestly the best massage I have ever had! He spoke with me beforehand to identify my areas that needed work, was incredibly respectful and took extra time to work through any spots that he found (and there were a lot!) I was so happy with my experience that I wish I could move here just to have weekly treatments! I not only highly recommend the services at 808, but will return before I leave in two weeks and every year following! I cannot recommend this location enough!!!! One of the worst massages I've had. It felt as though the masseuse was preoccupied with other things the entire massage, especially during the minutes she was only using one hand. I wanted the massage to end early. She spent about 20 minutes half mindedly rubbing my feet lightly (with one hand for some of it) and it seemed like she didn't know what to do with the remaining time. I've tried to make a whole new review but apparently I can only edit. But this needs to be said: Since my last massage I've been back to 808 Wellness twice. Once for a shamanic healing with Sara. I can't put into words the amazing feeling that came from that visit. It was spiritual and left me with a sense of well-being that has continued for weeks. The last visit was for acupuncture with Al. I've had problems with my wrist and shoulder lately and he did a fantastic job in just one visit. I'm not saying it's healed in one visit but it's way better and I will be following up soon!! Previous review: I've had acupuncture from Al a few times at a different location but since opening up right across the hall from me at work I decided I needed a fantastic massage. I had planned on getting a massage while on vacation, but when I fell victim to a wicked a cold, I knew I needed more than just a massage to feel better. After perusing the reviews of various massage shops in the area I came across 808 Wellness and decided to give them a call. Alan answered the phone and I explained my sinus issues and asked him to guide me in the right direction. He listened intently and recommended a combination of acupuncture and craniosacral therapy. My experience was incredibly relaxing and soothing, even more so than a massage. Rather than just address the symptoms like in western medicine, Alan took the time to understand my complete health history and address all of my concerns - not just my current cold and sinus headaches. He also made recommendations for herbal supplements to help with my inflammation and to fight off the virus, but was in no way pushy or made me feel like I was being sold something that wasn't in my best interest. Also, I do feel like I'm on the upswing of the cold today (1 day after treatment)! If you haven't tried acupuncture yet this is a great place to start! read more

Lovely place.... I received three months of therapeutic massages here with Jennifer after a car accident. My neck and back were tight and in pain. Each day I left feeling relaxed, and thoroughly worked on. The deep tissue massage was amazing, and I felt so much relief after each session.
