Somehow I've been here many times and never wrote a review! The mango cheesecake was sublime - compared to other cheesecake I've had this was smoother and the mango puree slaps hard. The graham cracker crust wasn't messy either - it was easy to cut it up! I will say the plastic cake knife broke (maybe we should have waited more than 30 min for the cake to get to room temperature?) Overall this was a delicious cake for our friends birthday and I enjoyed the mango/white chocolate/cheesecake flavor profile. I come here a decent amount. I like their food and drinks but man their drink station needs a better system. They take forever plus their online ordering system is wack. I orderd ahead, it told me my order will be ready in 35 minutes. I go after 40 minutes. I wait 10 minutes and finally ask. They didn't start my drink yet. So it was another 15 minutes after that that i got my drinks. Had I not asked they wouldn't have started it? No other place takes that long! You have to f'n' try to fail that bad! read more

One of our fav boba tea spots - milk teas - lots of varieties if your group does not care for boba - just leave it out - my spouse enjoys their sea salt coffee; also the cocoa is great too on a chilly day. Bakery items do not disappoint. Savory to sweet - lots of choices along with vegan to meat eaters. Prices are low to enjoy multiple items, we find it fresh each visit. The pastries are fantastic here! So airy and fluffy! The prices are reasonable, considering how good the sweet breads are. I actually found an Apple pie sweet bread my husband loved! Score! Everything is self serve except for the full cakes they offer behind the glass case. Beautiful cakes. They also offer coffee and boba. FYI: The bakery is CLOSED on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This place is busy and there are plenty of seating spots available. Service is offered at the counter. Was glad I was able to pay cash. The kid was also able to count back the correct change. My stepmom loves this bakery, so we made a point to come here on our last visit. All of the baked goods are individually packaged which is nice; use a tray to keep your items together if you need one. There are cards describing the items to help with any allergies or aversions - I am allergic to almonds and almost chose an item that didn't have almond in the name but they were hidden inside. I picked out 3 pastries to take home, 2 cinnamon twists for my dad, a loaf of Japanese Milk Bread, and ordered 2 drinks at the counter (Americano and iced milk tea, no boba). The workers were friendly and efficient. The total price for everything was not bad at all in my opinion (for fancy bakeries), $27.55. I wish I had taken a photo of the receipt because the individual pastries were priced well. Everything we tried from here was delicious. My stepmom bought a chocolate mousse cake for my dad's birthday, and it was delicious! The cake included birthday candles and a decoration to include on the cake when presented. It was boxed up nicely, and may have included a serving spatula (not sure). The cake looked very heavy but it was surprisingly light! Absolutely love this place! You can't go wrong with the pastries or bread. The bread is especially soft, with a perfectly sweet filling that complements its texture. Just make sure to come earlier, as they usually run out after 6 pm (but that's how you know they're good haha). I also really love the cakes and order them for birthdays every year. They are light, fluffy, and have the perfect amount of sweetness, making them enjoyable even for those who aren't typically cake lovers. When you order a full cake, you also get candles and a serving spatula! The tiramisu is my favorite. A hot Texas afternoon on a family-filled weekend trip led us to find a couple of quiet moments away with some icy cold coffee! We were actually looking for another coffee shop that our GPS just kept missing, so we randomly stopped in at 85*C Bakery Cafe.... and it was such a pleasant surprise. The location was clean, spacious, open, and filled with lots of yummy treats! The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful in our selections. We selected an iced latte and an iced mocha... not too adventurous I know but we had not yet had our coffee for the day. This just hit the spot, as you can see, we both couldn't for the photo to enjoy our drinks. They were "on point"! AHHHMAZING. I ordered online for a scheduled pick up. My items were temp controlled until I arrived (including my iced coffee)! That was a lovely surprise. I ordered a massive amount to give a fair and honest review of all items. Soufflé Cheesecake- first time eating this and has a cake like texture for cheesecake but slightly custardy is how I can describe soufflé. Not overly sweet and VERY appealing presentation. 5/5 Egg tarts come in 2. Sooo good, flaky and buttery crust and a thin layer of the egg custard is just sweet enough. If you're someone who isn't too into sweets this would be for you. 5/5 1 slice of the Coffee Brûlée Cake - LOOKS beautiful and is so deliciously smooth. 5/5 Brioche bread is honestly very large could probably get 7-8 slices out of it for a great price. Has a subtly sweet flavor, soft, melt in your mouth type of bread. Great with a coffee. 5/5 1 Hokkaido Tart - reminded me of cheesecake, slight tang to the filling and a nicely sweet and crispy crust. 5/5 1 Milk Pudding bun - loved the bread, the filing was okay. Service: when I entered the girl at the front register was on her phone and when she noticed me she hesitated before helping me and slowly put her phone away. Maybe she was embarrassed? Either way I couldn't tell because she was wearing a mask. Said very little to me except ask for my name. 4/5? Inside: there was not as many people inside as I thought. Plenty of tables and it was somewhat quiet besides people talking amongst themselves. Fresh bread! I love me some 85 bakery every week. It's such an easy gift to show up to your co-workers with a box of assorted goods. Everyone will find something they like if you just pick a variety of savory/sweet bread. The drinks are always good at any time of day. My personal favorite is the strawberry milk tea with boba.
