Ordered 4 custom cinnamon rolls. I wanted more of a carmel pecan roll, so I requested no frosting, and double carmel sauce for an extra $1.50. I understood what I wanted and was willing to pay extra to make it happen. They even marked the box '2x carmel', so they understood the assignment. Then I opened the box, and they clearly failed the assignment. This was not a basic drizzle of carmel, forget 2x carmel. It's more like they spilled some carmel on it. Mind you the rest of my family ordered customized rolls and theirs were COATED. As if it swam in a bath of frosting or some sweet sauce. To their credit the bread was warm, light, and fluffy, but that comes standard for $5.50, with frosting. Not only did I request no frosting, I paid for double carmel. It was clear what the objective was, and they didn't even attempt to make it happen. Luckily I had carmel at home, so I fixed it, but I shouldn't have to fix what I paid to be done in the first place. This is a rant for a cinnamon roll, sure. But you want me to tip and be polite, yet I get attitude for service as if I'm inconveniencing the employees for doing their job, asked to tip (which I happily did), and then I got this. Cool, cool, cool. Cinnahilic just got their last dollar from me. I know it's it going to take them out of business, but continued service like this and they will do that themselves. So excited to come to Cinnaholic after visiting one in Utah. I remember the smell of fresh baked cinnamon rolls. Unfortunately, at this location you will be greeted at the door with the very strong scent of a floral cleaner! So disappointing and unappealing. I ordered mine and it was heated up and the frosting added so it melted the whole way home. Just left the store for the first time. I'm super confused with all of these reviews. I ordered 3 mini buns and a lemon blueberry coffee cake. It was over $20, but I had never been there before so just figured it was expensive. Opened the boxes - there were 9 mini buns (six crammed into one small square box) and three in the other. An absolute cinnamon dream- cute little sweet shop around the corner from the Mexican restaurant. Smells like heaven in a hand basket right when you open the door. Lovely smiles and hellos when we entered. I had my family with me and they were very patient while we figured out what all the kidos wanted.
