I ordered a Gulab Jamun cake, but what I received was just a regular plain cake with only 6 Gulab Jamuns placed on top. This is not what a Gulab Jamun cake is supposed to be. A proper Gulab Jamun cake has pieces of Gulab Jamun layered inside the cake, not just used as a topping. When the cake was cut, there were no Gulab Jamun pieces inside at all. On top of that, the cake itself tasted stale and very substandard, honestly like it was sourced from some other bakery rather than freshly made. I've bought Gulab Jamun cakes and other desi cakes from several places before, and this was by far the worst experience. For $140, this cake was absolutely not worth it--very disappointing quality and misleading description. Owner of this place is very arrogant and doesn't want even to have a look at the cake and discuss about the issue. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place for specialty or desi cakes. read more

Went a few months ago and arrived at 10am but it still wasn't open despite sign showing hours opening at 10am. I waited about 10 minutes before calling and the owner said he was on his way. There were employees also waiting for it to open. After opening shortly after, I got a croissant and almond croissant. They were both pretty stale and weren't as layered as I would've liked. What concerns me is that all the baked goods in the display and shelves were still there from the day before (at least) including the croissants since they had just opened and the employees were all outside as well. Easy enough to order online, but a 10" birthday cake would cost $100! Instead, I ordered an 8" one for $50...still very costly. The red velvet cake was beautiful, had several layers, and very tasty. Stopped for some type of "goody" to go. No drinks. Chose a chocolate eclair. $6 each. They were terrible. First of all, only about 4 inches long (smallest eclair I've ever seen) and instead of a vanilla custard filling, they had a chocolate mousse-type filling. I've never had a chocolate filled eclair and hope never to again. Only ate about half and pitched the rest. What a waste of $6. Came here with the family because we had a very early dinner and around 6pm wanted something sweet. I had the chocolate ganache cake and Chai latte and both were amazing. I mean the chocolate cupcakes were not even close to being chocolate and the buttercream on top of the cupcakes was right out of the Kroger brand icing! Just Discovered this new bakery in town yesterday. They opened only three weeks ago. The cafe/bakery is spacious with couple of tables to sit and enjoy the baked goods. They also serve coffee. The baked goods were fresh and looked delicious. Large selection of pastries, croissants, also there was chicken pockets, freshly baked bread and many more goodies. The owner was so helpful last evening and accommodated my last minute order. He baked a fresh Black Forest 6 inch cake for my son. It was his birthday yesterday and I planned to pick up a cake at the last minute. Really appreciate the high quality cake they baked. The sponge was airy, light and tasted heavenly. My kids enjoyed and went for a second serving after dinner. Can't wait to go back with my girlfriends. read more

Being a bakery store, I have always enjoyed a cup of coffee here - The fresh smell of bread, smacking pastries and a nice ambiance. It was a Friday morning, ordered two Americanos to go, the barista told me they only have whole and oat milk. I saw the coffee was really cold, not hot enough for an americano. I was disappointed to start my day with a poor coffee experience. Plus the price for a drip and Americano were the same, usually drip coffee is slightly lower in price compared to the other coffee options. I'm not sure if I'll be visiting again. read more

This is a wonderful bakery. I stopped by to get an iced coffee, and I just had to pick up two pastries as the bakery case was filled with gorgeous desserts. I chose two triple chocolate mousse for my husband and I. We both were impressed with the exquisite treat. Three layers of mousse in a delicate chocolate web turned out to be the best dessert that I have had in a long time. I am returning soon to try the lemon tarts. Stopped in today around noon for a treat. Very nice looking place. The chef was super sweet and answered our questions. Very large menu of drinks, including coffees, smoothies and shakes. Had a mocha frappe, it was great! A nice selection of sweets. I got the Tres Leches and loved it! I look forward to trying the Tiramisu next time! First time stopping in and can honestly say i didn't care for the pastries. I got an eclair and a mini almond pound cake loaf. The eclair pastry dough had an odd texture, almost like it was old or previously frozen. The inside was chocolate and not something I cared for. The mini loaf was dry. This review is only for the Black Forest Cake I ordered and ate. Unfortunately, it was not enough cherry taste to make this lovely chocolatey cake to say it's a Black Forest cake. There wasn't any cherry on top of the cake, which was my first red flag, and the explanation was that "we don't use canned/jarred cherries so it'll dry if it's on top". There were red cherry looking thing in between the cakes but there was no taste. The sponge was nice. The cream was good. It was just NOT Black Forest cake. So if you're looking for a Black Forest cake, I'd suggest somewhere else. read more

We ordered the chocolate ganache cake for our daughter's 21st birthday, after reading how delicious it was. I ordered online and got a confirmation that it would be ready for pickup a few days later on a Sunday. That Friday before, we were at the airport getting ready to go out of town overnight and the bakery left a message, asking when we were picking up the cake. I looked up the order and confirmed that it was supposed to be ready for Sunday pick up, not Friday. The man acknowledged the mistake and we went to get it when we got back from our trip on the original date. While it looked pretty, it wasn't anything special and the taste was pretty bland. It certainly was not the rich, decadent cake that we were hoping for. I was surprised, because it was nothing like we expected, but then I figured they probably froze it from a couple of days before and then just thawed it for pick up on Sunday because the bottom layer was also really soggy. I reached out to the bakery to ask them and I never even heard from them. Really poor customer service and very disappointed! read more

This is a long pending review for la Creme . The cakes here are so delicious and cream feels so light and fluffy . We have also tried their brownie and other flavors like strawberry and tiramisu and every slice is heavenly and delicious . Their rasamalai cakes are definitely a must try . This is the first time I tasted the rasamali cake and I couldn't stop eating it . The cakes have just the right amount of sweetness that you don't feel overpowering even after two slices. We would definitely keep coming for trying other flavors and would highly recommend to others. read more
