Tried this place for the first time this weekend. My family and I grabbed a few different things and let me just say be prepared for tons of those pastries to have some type of filling in them! Lol I'm 50/50 with this bakery because a lot of the pastries are an acquired taste. The service wasn't anything to really talk about. They just ring you up. Wish there was someone to be on the floor and talk about the different pastries and offer help. Gets pretty crowded and the other customers will push you out the way to get something they want so be cautious with that. I'd try this place again to see if my opinion changes. read more

I've been patronizing this bakery for a few years now. Initially the quantity and quality of their bakery items were great, but that has diminished over time. I come by during the week, within a few minutes of them opening and there's not much in the way of selection or quantity. Most of the little signs with a description of the items are missing and the few that are still there rarely match up with what's actually on the shelf. It used to be a few people handling the baking behind the counter, two people at the registers and at least one person making the drink orders; lately I haven't seen more than 3 employees in the store, period! I can't speak to how things are set up in the afternoon or evening but you would think that the business would want to present itself in the best way possible regardless of the time of day; be consistent with the selection of items and at the very least, someone should be checking to make sure that the items actually match up with the signs, so people who are unfamiliar with their baked goods are actually getting what they're paying for. The sweet wreath bread is still worth the trip, but barely. read more

Hi Team, starting off that our family LOVES 85 and we are a frequent customer. That being said, I came in today to pick up family breakfast and tea, and my strawberriy matcha SO watery that it didn't have any taste unless a strawberry came through that straw and i got light ice to avoid it being watered down. When you cravin Asian pastries and bubble tea, 85 Degrees never fails to satisfy. Amazing selection of baked goods, cream buns, red bean buns, green tea and ube flavored goodies. As I continuously looked over the counter to see what was taking so long, I saw 2 workers continuously making conversations and taking breaks between making drinks. Delicious. I've been three times already and just amazing. I love the options and how you can just grab a tray and start piling what you want on. The drinks are also delicious. Had the strawberry banana smoothie and was great. My favorite bread is the coffee bread. And the red velvet cake slice is also pretty good. The potato croquettes are very well seasoned and haven't gone wrong yet with the cream cheese jalapeño bread either. Very friendly staff that work pretty fast and haven't messed up a single drink order I've had. All in all very good bakery and worth the line to check out when it's pretty crowded and busy. Not to small but not to big either. Two sets of doors makes the space feel bigger which is nice so you don't get to claustrophobic. 10 out of 10 though. read more

Took over 40 minutes to get 3 coffees and 2 pastries. Ordered ahead, showed up 15 minutes later. Waited for 10 minutes, watched them make all the line drinks recently ordered. When I approached the counter to ask, then she put my drinks in the line with the others, after another 15 minutes they were finally ready. But they forgot about the pastries, then they told me they were out of all the pastries we ordered. After asking for replacement pastries, she then started working with another customer and it was another 10 min before she grabbed the pastries. I've literally been to sit down restaurants, ordered a steak meal, finished and paid in less time than this slow coffee shop. read more

I love 85 degrees but the service at this location was sooo slow. There were only 3 people in the store and about 6 workers. The cashier was super slow when it came to ringing anyone up so the wait was long. I also ordered a drink but so did the girl in front of me. While the employee was making the drink for the girl in front of me, she was just standing there waiting for it to finish before starting on mine.. could've just started while you were waiting? Always drive by and told myself I'd come here one day. Well today is that day because I wanted to do something different than my usual Starbucks run. Super glad I came! Quite a selection of pastries to chose from with an extensive drink menu. I got a ham and cheese pastry and a blueberry muffin with an americano. Came out to 8.53! Cheaper than what one would pay for an equivalent amount of food and a drink at Starbucks! Shop was super clean and food was great. Highly recommend swinging by sometime! Finally! First time buying from here and they didn't give us a total refund when a baby cockroach came out of our bag. We wanted to be better safe than sorry and threw away all of the items in our bag in case there were any cockroach eggs in or around the items. I had no issue and wasn't going to write a review, since they told us on the phone they would refund our entire order once we came in. We came in and then the same shift lead girl told us she could only refund us for one of the breads we purchased. How does that make any sense from a food service perspective? If they're obviously not trained properly to respond to a bug infested customer issue, then I wouldn't trust their judgement on food handling in the kitchen. read more

I was here last Wednesday and one of the toilet's flushing handles didn't work. Today, same thing, except this time an employee came out and I explained the situation. Uh huh she said twice. The restroom's small trash can was full and people had left tissues on the diaper changing station and outside in the hallway. I've visited this location several times and normally it's not this bad. But this most recent visit, several workers had no sense of urgency and there was quite a long line building up. Several of them were avoiding being the cashier and some working in the back were slowly walking around as if to pass time. I go to order my drink items and the seating area is a dirty mess. Almost all the tables are not clean. Mind you prior to entering, there was no line at all with almost 8 workers in store. Tables had many crumbs and leftover food and as well as the chairs. 2 of which were hanging in the corner not doing anything. Several customers refused to even sit at a table bc of how dirty it was. Only redeeming factor at this moment is that their pastries, cakes, and drinks are good. They have a lot of potential to become a lot better! Came in tonight to pick up some bakery items and grab a drink with my boyfriend when the barista ruined my experience. I didn't catch her name because I didn't see a name tag but all I know is that she clearly hates her job. We ordered a cold drink and a hot drink, She calls our order # and when we go to pick it up she pushes 2 drinks towards us, one being in a hot cup and my milk tea with no boba. she says "That drink isn't yours. Are you 1009?" I said to her that I am 1009 and show her my receipt where she then says "that wasn't your drink." And points at the hot drink. If it wasn't my drink why did u have it out when u called 1009? We were the only number called and no other drinks were at the pick up station. It makes no sense to call my number and hand me a drink that isn't mine and act like I grabbed it on purpose. It's in a hot cup so I can't see what's inside of it. I then tell her that my milk tea was supposed to have boba in it as well. She then gives me a lame excuse saying "When I was making it there was no more boba but it just came out." we say to her "Are you not going to add it?" She takes the drink out of my hand, rips open the plastic cover and pours boba in. It's not even sanitary at that point to take food or drinks back after handing them out. Her excuse didn't even make sense. If you go to any food place and order something and it isn't ready shouldn't the worker wait till everything is ready and completed before handing out orders with missing items? it makes no sense? Corona's location really needs to get it together for their online pickup orders. When you place an order online and choose the ASAP option, it usually says 25 minutes. I usually don't show up until 30 minutes later, and 9 out of 10 times, my drink is not even ready. Today, when I told them I placed my order 35 minutes ago and had to wait, the employee just walked away. Extremely rude! I understand it might be a process issue, but customer service also needs improvement. Please strive for better service. read more

Every morning I wake up I have one thing on my mind...an iced coffee from 85, and when I tell you that this coffee is superb beyond Starbucks or Dunkin' or even your $200 espresso machine, just TRUST ME. This coffee has a whole potion of love within it, one sip and you'll fall head over heels for its taste. Okay, aside from the godly coffee, there's the fresh baked pastries that are ALWAYS being made, and they are delicious too.
