I went to 85 degrees yesterday with a friend. The store is nice, spacious, and clean. The service was a little short with us but overall not terrible. There seem to be a lot of bread options however today we were only here to buy a drink. My friend got the brown sugar oat milk latte and thought it was a little too sweet but it did have a nice strong espresso flavor. She states that she has gotten it previously and it wasn't as sweet so there may be some poor consistency at this location. I purchased the fresh strawberry milk tea with boba 50% sweet. Overall, I thought it was an okay drink. It was refreshing and the strawberry flavor was not too artificial. However, the tea flavor could have been stronger and the boba was horrendous they were too hard and seemed stale. Overall, this place was okay I would come in a pinch but I would not go out of my way for it. read more

I needed to go to a store next-door and then I saw someone walk out with something that looked amazing... When I walked him, there was a hint of sweetness in the air. Of course I couldn't decide on anything I wanted. So I got a few different things. The ambience is like a Korean bakery. I'm not sure if you ever been to one, but they have everything on display with signage. Then there is a cold section for anything refrigerated......very sleek and modern. Service was well organized and they also had a cute kiosk so you could pre-order Boba if you wanted to. This is definitely a place you should try out if you're in the area. I always go here during special events such as birthdays and big christmas celebrations. I love the adorable packaging that comes with the cakes and goods. The atmosphere of the place is also very enjoyable. I love that walking in you could smell the scent of fresh baked goods and savory treats. My favorite to buy are the Brioche and Patato Croquette, very warm and comforting baked goods for the cold weather. It is always nice to order a refreshing taro milk tea along with the treats. Finally, we get to the service and all I have to say is that the cashiers are always nice and patient. Overall rating, I would give this a 5 stars because I enjoy going here all the time. read more

I ordered 3 strawberry de leche drinks, and unfortunately they were very watered down. The texture wasn't creamy like I've experienced at other locations. By the time I tasted them, I was already home and too far to return to the store. It was very disappointing, especially since I was expecting the usual quality. I got the red bean bread and berry tale bread! The berry tale bread has a purple dot in the center of the bread and when you bite into it, it has a cream cheese mixture on the inside! The red bean bread has black sesame seeds and red bean paste on the inside! I also got a Sea Salt chocolate which was basically an iced hot chocolate with sea salt foam on top! The drink is a bit sweet but still good! The service was good and the ambiance is average! Tip: One of their restrooms broke down so I'm hoping it's fixed soon! I came in to get some drinks: sea salt coffee and sea salt jasmine green tea for an afternoon pick me up on a Sunday. I went in, started to line up, and waited until it was my turn to place the order with the cashier. At the time there was just 1 staff member that was tasked to man the register. But he had it under control. I placed the order for both drinks and waited for about 10 minutes for the drinks. There were so many other people as well waiting for their drinks along the wall. They have some seats available for you to enjoy the bread or drinks. There are also some seats available for people like me who come in, order the drinks, and then wait for the drinks. Apparently 85 Degree has their own reward app too where you can sign up to be a member to earn points, find the nearest location, and even order ahead of time (which I might try next time). The app is similar to Starbucks', where you can even add and save your card so that you can add funds automatically within the app. Both drinks arrive, it was pretty good. It's consistent with the other 85 Degrees that I've tried so far. I just wished the wait would be shorter but maybe I should try ordering a head of time on the app for my next coffee run. read more

85° I always try to describe it as an Asian bakery because the food isn't as sweet as a American bakery but then I brought someone here that was lactose intolerant and they really couldn't find anything to enjoy. That would not give them stomach problems. There's not much as far as service goes you stand in a long line to pay and then you wait a while for your drink to be made if you ordered one. The whole thing is kind of set up but face style so you walk in and grab a tray and pick whatever sweet treats you want and then get in line and order whatever other things you want. We don't have one in Riverside luckily this one isn't too far of a drive because yes, the food is really addictive. I don't think they offer anything healthy so if you're trying to lose weight, better not to walk in and get started on something that will just bring on type two diabetes Lol you can actually buy so many treats that you could take them into work and they are individually wrapped Honestly, at this point it doesn't donuts costing over $20 so this place is just as good as a donut shop if not better Also, we jokingly referred to their little Desert cups as espresso cups, and we usually clean them out and keep them I love this place. Lots of yummy treats, cookies and breads and quick service too! But my app would not load and cashier would not honor the 50% off drink promotion. I gave her my number and she said I could contact the app for help. So I had no choice but to pay full price for my drinks. All the trash cans were overflowing with trash and overall it looked dirty. My drink had lots of flavored mango gelatin. I do not recommend this drink if you don't like gelatin. I don't and unfortunately, I don't plan on ordering this drink again. read more

Usually I love coming to this 85 with my family! The food is delicious and so are the drinks. Lately I have been coming in at around 7-8PM. About 1-2 hours before closing. It seems like every time a young gentlemen with glasses is working they are always out. I ask for a drink and they are out, and there is only 1 tray of food out, 1-2 hours before closing. Any time he isn't working, there seems to be a good variety and all drinks are available. The atmosphere is usually clean aside from the trash being so full it builds a tower on top occasionally. Try cleaning up the trash bins in both by the coffee counter and exit. I had to wipe down the table b/c the table had dried crème of some sort and crumbs. The place was not that busy where someone could have wiped the tables and clean up the overflow of trash landing all over the floor. There are too many places to go to in Temecula for pastries I can go to with better and cleaner service. Favorite bake shop with delicious breads you place on a tray. They have milk bread, taro bread, garlic cheese, egg custard, egg custard with Mochi, cream cheese danish, milk WTH raisin bread. Very poor customer service. I ordered a cake several days in advance with a happy birthday writing and a name; the employee typed everything into their system during ordering. However, no writing whatsoever was on the cake during pick-up. When I inquired about it, a different employee looked straight at me and said we could give you a pre-made generic sign instead; no apology, no, let me rectify that mistake now and no other explanation. When I asked if they could put the previously ordered writing of the name at least; employee said no with no explanation or apology again. The most inefficient employees ever. Waiting for sandwiches to be warmed up but the cashier waited to clear the line before turning around to put the sandwiches in the warmer. All the while there are other employees standing around performing tasks that aren't supporting front of house including a manager/lead who was just floating around chatting to each employee without helping. Freaking ridiculous. We've been here several times and absolutely will not order drinks because of how long the orders take with only one person working the bar. They have fresh baked goods and desserts such as bread, tarts, cream puffs, cakes, cheesecakes, and chocolate mousse. They also have cream puffs. You can also order a cake and they have some ready made cakes. They offer coffee and tea which are tasty. They have traditional boba drinks (you can order boba or jelly. They also have coffee. The boba is great. I have not tried the coffee but I have friends who like it. If you have never been, I highly encourage you to try it out. read more
