The location isn't disclosed until the day of, and you have a lot of opportunities to reconfirm that you really want to go! But, enough about the event, on to the fantastic dinner! The menu has so many incredible, gourmet choices, it will be hard to select just one, but our table ordered the octopus tacos and cherry blossom beets with chopped peanuts and triangles of puffy, fried flat bread. Interesting combinations of flavors, and a great starter. Several of us got the salmon wellington - wow! Cooked to sheer perfection, moist fish on a bed of bok choy and chopped mushrooms, bathed in an orange beurre blanc with a delicious wellington crust. I MUST order that again! One person had pan seared halibut, and he inhaled it before I even got to look closely at the preparation. He said it was amazing! No desserts, as we were all stuffed, but the rojo wine and martinis went down a treat! Service was lovely, table cloths, candles and cloth napkins....all in all, a truly special evening with five new friends! Next time...himachi crudo in a calabrian chili and coconut puree, followed by sea scallops in a vanilla beurre blanc!

We stumbled upon InGranos and once we saw the menu we quickly decided to try it out. I made reservations and off we went. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully designed yet simple and the waitstaff were very friendly. We ordered the octopus bites for an appetizer and they were delicious. We also ordered the sourdough bread which is made there on site...again, delicious especially with the French butter. Our main courses were also very tasty and the timing between courses was impeccable. We will absolutely be eating here again as we want to try their fixed menu. Plenty of parking as well. Definitely give this place a try!

We visited as part of a bachelorette party, and it couldn't have been a better choice. I ordered the espresso martini, the fungi fettuccine, and the tiramisu for dessert, and every single item was delicious. We also shared several appetizers, including the meat and cheese boards, which were absolutely incredible. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made our celebration feel special. One of the highlights of the evening was being invited to the speakeasy downstairs, where we were treated to complimentary drinks. It was such a fun surprise and made an already memorable night even better. Overall, this was an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. Between the amazing food, exceptional service, and beautiful atmosphere, I would absolutely recommend Acqua al 2 to anyone looking for a memorable meal in Annapolis.

They had everything set up beautifully--separate tables for two, a rose on the table, candlelight, and elegant touches that made the whole night feel intimate and special. The food was delicious--so good it's hard to even put into words. Every course felt thoughtfully prepared and worth savoring. You can tell they put real care into both the presentation and the flavor. Whether you go solo, with friends, or with your partner, this is definitely a go-to spot. Great atmosphere, incredible food, and an experience that actually feels memorable. Highly recommend.

It's free! You might know it only as an event venue, but there's: * Nice walking trails and farm country views. * A few segments would count as hiking if you want to introduce somebody! * Creekside access in the woods. Fiddling around a natural creek is a formative experience * A selection of beautiful older trees that survived from colonial times * Including a massive ancient white oak, Maryland's state tree and quite rare now. If you've never seen a "big tree" in person this is a must-see. It has presence. * Restored buildings and history displays * A resident ambassador owl. Go closer to dusk to see him active * Restored natural meadows (great macro photography) * Examples of bee keeping, different types of gardening, etc. Lots to play / do / learn, or for us older folks, walking around and taking photos. A couple of notes: * hours on maps are for the venue, the grounds are actually open dawn-to-dusk * the hiking is pretty mild but there's a lot to see. * alltrails isn't accurate for many of the paths, but everything is really well signed (or grab the map from their own website) * if you're doing the full circuit of trails, wear those ankle-support shoes/boots - it might seem silly for the easy terrain, but the angle of the farm trails is "hard" in sneakers, and you'll appreciate that support. Enjoy it! Another Howard County gem.

So, I got to check out the grounds around the main building before the bride and groom arrived for rehearsal. They have a wonderful wandering Garden with Fountains and water features. In addition to the new main structure, they have Historical buildings and Summer camps.

Hotel is modern, luxurious looking. .75 miles to downtown, waterfront Annapolis. 2 hours, 15 minutes to Ocean City, MD. Room: Spacious with a little couch. Refrigerator and coffeemaker with Starbucks coffee filter packs. Microwave near the ice machine. Luxurious White tea smelling bath products which reminded me of the Bulgari bath products we used to get in Celebrity suites. I took the soap which lasted me a week and still looks good - non-drying. One bottle of complementary water. Amenities: - Indoor pool and hot tub (felt hot). Nice gym - Stunning circular bar and fireplace. Drinks were pricy. - Shuttle to downtown can be picked up outside the hotel and to the right. Runs every 20 minutes on the hour. - Restaurants on-site but we went across the street to Carpaccio Tuscan Kitchen & Wine Bar which was fantastic - make reservations. Things to Note: - City garage for parking and you will need to pay by scanning the QR code with your phone to start the timer for your car (remember your license number). It took several tries to connect to the website and get it to work. When you leave, you just drive out and it recognizes your car. - Our room had a connecting door. I could hear the parents and child's talking while I were in the bathroom. This is a beautiful, comfortable hotel, and I would stay here again to visit Annapolis or on my way to Ocean City.
