These guys are idiots. Poor service, they can't answer a question without giving attitude. I will never use them. They are gonna lose a lot of business, not just from me, but everyone I talk to. I own 5 cars that are all modified. You think you would show a little respect when someone is about to drop a few grand on silly little parts. Not at this shop. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of shope that will pay attention to people that want to spend money with them. This place acts like its a privilege to speak to them. It wasn't the first time this happend either. Fool me once, ok, but twice....maybe they are use to young kids with tricked out Hondas (no problem with it) that don't know better about service, either way...don't be a jerk when some is asking questions. Went here to get my fenders rolled. Wanted a reputable shop to do a good job so i paid premium price to get that service. Not sure if they heat treated my fenders while rolling or took their time. But the end result was tragedy. Fenders look wavy. Paint chip underneath fender wall, yes i know its unavoidable but not the whole underside of the fender should chip. One fender has a pinch. Overall poor craftsmanship. Should of known when i saw bunch of hipsters running the place. Pretty irritated everytime i look at my fender now. Thanks 88rotors for ruining my brand new car. Perhaps good for buying rims and tire service but definitely not a body shop. Probably could of had better luck on craigslist and cheaper. read more

All of you giving 88 rotors 5 starts must be dreaming, this company sells the worst rotor and brake combos ever. The brakes don't last and the rotors squeal like they have never been changed PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY you will regret it trust me. The price sounds great but the quality is garbage you might as well roll up your money into a ball and throw it into a garbage can. Instead of taking pictures of the cars that you have on yelp why don't you take pictures of the great quality rotors you sell after two weeks of being installed. I first found out about 88 Rotors when I saw their blue shop car owned by one of the workers (I think his name is Travis) win a time attack at Willow Springs... A few weeks later I decided to start tuning my car. I went to 88 Rotors to get a set of wheels, tires and new rotors for my 2008 Civic Si. I met Travis and Ken (workers over there) they were very knowledgeable and helped me select the correct wheel size and offset for my car. Its now been a couple of weeks since I got the wheels installed on my car and they have been great. The price at 88 rotors is also very good. I rather come here and get it right the first time than to mess around trying to get it online or expensive dealership. Ive had to many problems with ordering from online stores ./ shops that claim they can get the parts, but they rarely come though. Im thinking about getting a DC Sports exhaust system next from 88 Rotors. After I purchase, i'll update my review. So far 5 stars all the way! read more

To be clear I have not purchased anything from 88 rotors. However, I have had numerous conversations with Chris over the phone about performance tires and had my tires and wheels rotated before. Most places I price checked and or just asked questions about tires didn't want to chat. Chris was very nice and professional. He recommended several alternative options and had a wealth of knowledge. Unfortunately I wanted Michelins 285 30 20 and they were not in stock which is very common with this brand. Their prices are great and priced out after installation, disposal and mounting they came out cheapest of all places I checked. As soon as this set of tires get close to wearing out I plan to definitely contact Chris and Order and new set of tires. Save ur self the trouble of shopping around and just buy from 88 u will soon find out u got a bargain anyways. read more

Terrible customer service. Called ahead to verify the availability of an item their website claimed they had in-stock before placing my order and they put me on hold for 30 minutes to navigate their own website to find the item to check their inventory despite me giving them the part number listed on their site already. Once they got back to me, they assured me that they had multiples in stock and ready to ship. Cool, placed my order and got the confirmation email of my order. The following day, my order was still processing. No big deal I thought, maybe they're a little behind on processing orders. Following day, same thing. I sent them an e-mail with my order number to follow up on the status. No reply back. Today (4th day) I decided to give them a call. Spoke with the same person I spoke to when I first called to check the availability of the item (I assume it was the same person because the lack of professionalism in his tone was familiar). Turns out the item has been back ordered (despite being told they had several on hand ready to ship) and they failed to inform me until I had to reach out to them myself. I've heard a lot of good things about 88Rotors but I guess it's just the luck of the draw. Definitely wouldn't consider them an option the next time I need to purchase a part. read more

So I went to varrstoen warehouse and picked up some new wheels. Zach@Varrstoen recommended me to these guys 88 rotors. They installed 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 on my stock 18" tires. On my way home I hit traffic on the 5 freeway going around 65mph. I go to push on the brake but the pedal went to the floor. Luckily nobody was in the lane next to me so I had two options. Either hit the person in front of me going 65 to 0. Or pull the ebrake. I pulled the ebrake and luckily stopped 15ft from the center divider. I immediately called 88 rotors to ask if they touched anything to do with the brakes and the gentleman insisted they did not. Ended up driving the car without brakes to a nearby Hyundai dealership which was luckily 2 miles away. Come to find out that 88 rotors either moved the brake line towards the rim or forgot to move it away from it. After taking pictures of the damage while on the lift I called them back again and let them know of the brake line rubbing on the rim. I believe his name was Taylor and he kept insisting that they didn't touch anything. He kept repeating how he told me if my car was prepared for the fitment which I responded yes it was as far as fenders being rolled etc, but how was I supposed to know the brake line would hit. As a company that installs wheels they should double check their work and make sure everything is okay. I almost lost my life and they can't even realize that. The only thing I asked for was for them to cover the cost of repairs. $300 and a rental for 3 days. Taylor pretty much told me it was my fault. So small claims court it is since these guys won't own up to their mistake. Watch out for their work ethic. read more

this place is awesome! the guys there are pretty cool. my 1st time there, i didnt even buy anything, and they were way more than helpful. i had a set of 4 piston brake calipers that i was trying to modify for my ride, and they answered all my questions and even gave me a free used rotor so i was able to use it for a test fit. how dope is that?! the 2nd time i went, i needed a set of rear cross drilled and slotted rotors and brake pads for a 92 accord. keep in mind that this is a 17+ year old car! they had it in stock and i was able to get them that very same day. i can't even complain about the prices. very good deal. saved me some dough. the shop is kinda hard to find, it's down south el monte on rush street. you have to turn into a driveway and then its to the right a bit. you'll know its 88 rotors, cause you'll see some bad ass cars parked outside. oh yeah, they also do more than just rotors, they have stuff like rims and tires, and also performance parts as well. check out their site; www.88rotors.com read more

where do i start? i took my g35 to these guys to put coil overs on my car. they did not adjust them at all!! the car road like crap. i had to take it to megan racing and they took them off, adjusted them right and put them on and it is like night and day, rides nice now! i bought cross drilled rotors and pads from them, dude said to spray paint the center of the rotors so they dont rust. whatever, why dont they come painted? go to put them on and they were not the right size. so they didnt want to take them back cuz they were now painted. finally got them to exchange them after a big argument. the pads they gave me were garbage made by omni. they squeeked like nothing ive ever heard! embarrassed as all hell driving the car anywhere. the pads put brake dust all over my rims, had to wash them every drive, it was that bad. i got new pads from napa and they make no noise or dust every where. i bought a set of rims and tires there as well. they did give a good deal on the sale because they screwed up the ad, but they did honor the price. i told them put the old set to the side and i would pick them up with my truck when i pick up the car. jackasses put all 4 in the back seat of the car that has tan leather interior. what a bunch of idiots! anyway i hit some shit on the road and damaged one of the front tires like a month after the purchase. called them and they dont have that tire in stock. so i call another tire shop and they said the tires were discontinued like 2 years ago. the way i see it is they sold me old junk and now i had to replace both tires in the front! dont waste your time on this half ass shop with a bunch of lame kids working there. they are not a good place to spend your money! i wont be going back to that CHOP SHOP again! read more
