I spent hours online trying to figure out the correct suspension upgrade for my Tacoma. Once I narrowed it down to a couple brands, I went to Youtube reviews to help me decide which to move forward with. During this process, I came across a video created by 88Rotors. Go check them out. It showed multiple Tacomas installing the same package I decided to install on my truck. Their shop was clean and the video walked me through the process from start to finish. The before and after images made me feel comfortable and I decided to reach out. I sent an email to 88Rotors with my plan and got a quick response from Ken with a quote and some suggestions. I ultimately ended moving forward with the Bilstein 6112/5160 package with SPC UCAs and an add-a-leaf. I also did a body mount chop and mounted some 285/70/17 K02s. I let them know my choice and Ken set me up with an appointment. I showed up on appointment day and everything was great. Chris at the front desk was super nice and got me all setup. Had the OME MT64 suspension kit, uca, and duro bump stops installed on my wife's 5th gen 4runner. They were short staffed on the day of my appointment but was able to complete the install which I respected. Had to bring the truck back due to a disagreement with the size of the rear bump stop. After a couple of weeks started hearing squeaking noises from the front of the car. Brought it back again and they said the noise was due to a skid plate. Found out from another off road shop that the noise was actually due to the front spring not being seated properly on the strut. I would recommend 88 rotors if you purchase a suspension kit that they are familiar with. The quote, appointment, and the alignment recommendation process all went great. read more

I'm writing this review a little late, but better late than never. I am glad to be local to this shop, as they do amazing work and are very professional, and have reasonable prices. I had purchased a prerunner kit from Bajakits and was looking for a shop to install it, after calling over a dozen shops I came across 88Rotors, their price and not only that but their work was a lot better than any other shop. I followed them on instagram, saw their youtube and was 100% assured I would be in good hands, and I was. After dropping my truck off with the whole kit it took them a couple days, because Baja kits gave me a couple wrong parts, 88Rotors contacted them directly to have them shipped overnight to address the issue themselves. I couldn't be more happy with the service and work that they provide, they go above and beyond and have reputable work. I really wanted to like this place but I just can't after the experience I have had. I drove from San Diego to get my Lexus GX 460 ( lift/ shocks /tires) because if all the great videos online but buyer beware. After a week of driving I took my truck in to a local shop ( better in every way apparently ) to get alignment on the new set up. Come to find out the rear shock wasn't even put in right and the tires were rubbing up front. I had the new show trim and fix the rear shock $$$. Now 6 months later that same rear shock that wasn't put in right is blown $$$. These guys just don't know what they are doing apparently. Go anywhere else !!! read more

I saw all their specials on their Instagram page along with their videos on what they do to trucks and 4runners daily! Got my '20 tacoma worked on here a few weeks back. They installed 285/70/r17 ko2s, 5100 blistein suspension, and method MR305 wheels in double black. Everything was installed with expert precision and care. Not to mention, they did everything relatively quick! I have been driving a lot recently and everything performs and feels top notch. The only thing I wish was mentioned to me was the issue of tire rubbing. When my wheels are fully articulated, I find my front tires rubbing quite aggressively against the inside of the wheel well from time to time. I now know they offer a body mount chop service that fixes this issue, I just wish it had been mentioned to me because I would have paid for it then and there.
