As the RSP program comes to an end this Saturday, I want to thank Maggie Tian and the entire coaching team, especially Selina Park, who has been Reyaan's coach for nearly two years, for creating such a great experience. RSP is a wonderful program that helps promising young players take the next step through a combination of private lessons, group training, and league play. Reyaan had a lot of fun and made tremendous progress in his table tennis skills throughout the program. What stands out the most to me is the growth in his confidence. He is now much more comfortable and confident when playing matches against other kids, and that has been amazing to see as a parent. A big thank you to all the coaches for creating such a supportive and encouraging environment. Reyaan is very grateful for everything he has learned and experienced through RSP, and he's already looking forward to what comes next. Coach did not engage with child and then lied about the experience when asked about it. I can forgive the bad coaching if there had been a reason, but them trying to gaslight and deny it was insulting. I rarely give 1-star reviews, but this place warrants it. read more

For a sport that doesn't get enough exposure and recognition, 888 TTC represents a space and staff that can be seen as the epitome of sport in the US / CA bay area. The coaches are great and you have to assess who would suit your needs and personal goals. For me, Tyrese, Tre and Chico were beneficial. I've found Tyrese's unique attacking-defense style to be quite challenging to play against and a great learning if you want to learn how to play choppers / long pips. In terms of the space, the ventilation, flooring is great, and the lighting is pretty good but sometimes can get in view if you high-toss your serves. I'm not a fan of the Xiom tables which take up significant space and are a burden of the sponsorship requirements of 888. I feel like that space could be better used for a workout / stretch / warmup area if people aren't particularly excited about using those tables. The club fees are priced higher than all other bay area clubs but some of the coaches are quite affordable if you buy lessons as 10packs. The front staff are great, Kanisa and Reann in particular and have always accommodated my requests. Availability" There are 20-30% calendar days reserved for WTT youth, USATT tournaments / ITDP training and recreational events, which makes it challenging for the 'average' player that just wants a workout or drop in for open play. Overall though, I've been quite happy with my experience and have followed 888's prolific growth right from the time they had two tables and active construction. PS: huge shoutout to Carlos who works tirelessly to keep the space sparkling clean and you would never guess the volume of player/foot traffic by the level of consistent cleanliness of all the facilities. read more

I can't say enough good things about 888 Table Tennis Center! My friends and I decided to stop by for a fun, active outing and we were surprised by how much fun we had. The facility is clean, spacious and well-organized. You can tell they take pride in maintaining the place, it is top-notch.  The staff were very friendly and helpful, even to first timers like us. They showed us how to use the equipment and gave us some tips to improve out game (although I still need a LOT of practice!).  What stands out the most, though, is the atmosphere.  It is a welcoming place where you'll find everyone from casual players like me to high-performing athletes who have competed in the Olympics (the place is the National Training Center for US).  Whether you're looking to play a quick game, learn a few lessons or just burn some calories while having fun, 888 Table Tennis is the place for you. Purchased two packages of 5 group lessons last August, I got injured with a fracture of my left ankle during the class. I had requested the credit to be extended till I'm recovered and ready to play again. I offered to submit the doctors note. They only gave me 2 months and that was not enough apparently. This started a 6+ months of nightmare attempted to deal with the manager after numerous times of asking the coach of another Pingpong class my husband attended to pass the message to this manager. At this time, they are making up a new excuse that they introduced a new rule that packages expired after 4 months. But I have been constantly approaching them through the coach to resolve this for the past 6 months. At one point they rejected me with an excuse saying that they updated system and lost all old data. read more

I am a Disable Woman of 61 years of age - has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at age 39. For the past number of years I was diagnosed with more debilitating Comorbidities, had to spend 7 years at different Facilities, from Skilled Nursing to the Assisted Living and finally decided to live independently with some help from the in-home Caregiver. Still, I had a lot of challenges on a daily basis with most of the Activities, including simple walking. I needed something that would bring me joy in Life and physical strengthening of my weak body at the same time. About a year ago, from the window of my Medical Paratransit I spotted an amazing building with the logo: 888 TTC - 888 Table Tennis Center. Years ago I used to play Ping-Pong, my father taught me when I was about 10 years old and since then it was my "thing", although I didn't play professionally. Just casually, but I always enjoyed it so! And I made a promise to myself - I have to come to the 888 TTC and start playing again, regardless of my Disabilities. After all, athletes at Paralympics were always a great example for me not to give up and have the courage to move forward, literally and figuratively. And I did! I signed all the necessary papers and convinced my Doctors and Therapists that I can do this! I started my training at 888 TTC about a year ago. Firstly - I was very impressed by the Club itself: very professional, very spacious, great location, kind and friendly Staff, ready to help with every wish. Such a place by itself would encourage you to play better and better, challenge yourself more and more. No wonder you will see all ages playing there, from young children to Seniors, in all shapes and physical abilities. 888 TTC Club promoting ACTIVE AGING WITH PING PONG and no wonder that Open House for Seniors in January 2025 was packed - every table was occupied and there was even a line to play with the Robot. Today 888 TTC is serving National and International Competitions and Training and being the best PROMOTER of Table Tennis in Northern California and everywhere else. As for me - many thanks and infinite gratitude to my wonderful Trainer Angelina Ispirian, I am playing better than I ever was, regardless of the fact that I can't move my legs due to MS. Also, Angelina inspired me to start thinking of trying to compete with other Para Table Tennis players and prepare myself for such a great challenge! My father was an avid Table Tennis Player even at 84 and he was very upset by my Disability. He passed away more than 3 years ago, but I know he is watching me from above and very proud of me now! 888 table tennis center is a hidden gem. It has not only the best in class facility but also the Olympic and national coaches. The coaches went to multiple Olympics and their students are going to Tokyo this summer. The youth program is well run and kids trained there have been to both US open and National competitions. My son just got started and learnt a lot in a short time period, had fun with fellow students, and really looks forward to the summer camps and trainings. Poor quality of the sport development program for the youth players. Eg, Coaches not caring much and babysitting your children. If there is any extra ask, they immediately point you to $75 /hour private coaching session (unlimited without any Exit KPIs). This summer they started the arbitrary and fake "Raising star" program. They randomly selected and discrepantly selected kids regardless of the play level or tenure. Please don't waste your money here or paying for their sudo classes- Your money or energy mean absolutely NOTHING to the selfish and arrogant 888. read more

Fantastic facilities for table tennis! There are plenty of tables (probably 15-20?) and it's clean, well lit and well organized. The staff is nice and friendly. For the more serious players, they have group and private lessons as well. The coaching staff is top notch, having coached Olympic level.
