(Started coming here Nov 2023) 88 Keys Coffee is truly a gem in Lakewood! It's the kind of local mom-and-pop shop you just want to support again and again. One of the things I love most is how they actively highlight other local businesses and even partner with nonprofits that serve the community--it really feels like they care about more than just coffee. The space itself is clean, welcoming, and super comfortable. There's always great music playing, the AC keeps it cool, and the bathroom is consistently spotless (which honestly matters more than people admit). Whether you're meeting up with friends to catch up or need a place to focus, there are plenty of seating options for both socializing and getting work or studying done. Plus, WiFi is available, which is a huge bonus. On weekends, they often host small vendors, which adds such a fun, community-driven vibe. While their food menu isn't huge, they make up for it with special days featuring things like empanadas or burritos. They also usually have baked goods on hand, including gluten-free donuts , which is awesome for those with dietary restrictions. Came here with my partner and our pups for a new spot to try. Really liked the decor inside quirky, but homey feel to it. I like the bigger community seating style table as well as the living room set up and individual tables as well. Nicley done to accommodate a single person or a group. We ordered a pastry, cortado and a chai latte. Pastry wasn't anything special pretty standard coffee shop pasties, the cortado was pretty good but the Chai left me with a "meh" feeling. Very watered down with how much milk was used. I would have liked to taste more Chai. Other than that not bad and it's nice to see that Lakewood has a few coffee shops out there we can visit. Would we come back.. we have our favorites but if we are in the area sure why not. Beats Starbucks or any big box name. read more

This shop is located in a plaza right on the corner of the main street next to Carls jr cant miss it so theres enough parking spots. Originally came here for their "mixtape" latte but they discontinued it and so the very helpful gentleman suggested i get the mexican mocha so i did but with a few little tweaks.. Order: Mexican Mocha Substitute almond milk Add hazelnut cold foam Add butter cookie (biscoff) crumbles Came out to $9.50 All lattes come w 2 shots btw so i was delighted this drink was delicious top tier! For the person who said that the strawberry fields coffee is too strong, try mixing your drink prior to consumption. I was in the area and wanted a pick me up. From my yelp research, the coffee options here sound intriguing. They have a great selection of coffee and teas. The strawberry fields caught my eye. The strawberry is so smooth. Good amount of coffee. A regular asked for something off the menu and I think they made him one! It's a great spot to hang out. They have 2 cool pianos. The bathroom is clean. Lots of outlets if you want to hang out and work or study. They do close early on sundays. But check it out if you are in the area. read more

I decided to treat my team to some coffee, but I wasn't sure which shop to pick. After exploring a few options in my neighborhood, I remembered 80 Keys Coffee, which I had saved on Yelp. As an elite Yelper for several years, I know a good spot when I see one. I went for the Mixtape, the Chagaccino, and It's banana all ICED. When a coworker mentioned they preferred almond milk over whole milk, I decided to order another drink. However, Omar generously offered me a complimentary drink, and both he and Mickey prepared it with excellent service. Plus, I scored a 10% discount for being a good customer. I'm excited to see how everyone enjoys the drinks when we get to work--great customer service and laid-back music create a fantastic vibe. I do wish they stayed open later, maybe until 10:00 p.m., to keep that good energy flowing for those who want to study or hang out. I'll definitely be back. Very cute place. Cozy with an assortment of seating. Small tables, bigger tables, a sofa. The staff was very friendly. I got a Chai tea latte and a chocolate scone, and both were excellent. We got a Large iced matcha oat latte + sugarfree vanilla syrup and a regular iced matcha mango latte. 3/5 - Large iced matcha oat latte + sugarfree vanilla syrup, this is my usual order wherever I go, and it never does me wrong. But at this spot it tasted off... like too earthy and the sweetness just wasn't for me. 4/5 - Mango matcha - I liked this one more! It was pretty sweet, but not overbearing to take over the matcha. The space is on the smaller side. Interior is super cute for music lovers and creatives. Definitely a spot to go study or get some work done. All the tables and seats were taken when we got there though. Ample parking in front! Service was friendly. 88Keys Coffee is a calm and cool community-based coffee shop located in Lakewood. This spot is a welcome addition to the community and is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have some cool music themed decor and about 5-6 tables for seating. As for their menu, they have a solid selection of different coffee, matcha, and speciality drinks to choose from. Wifey and I stopped by for our weekend matcha run and opted to try the Horchata Chai and the Banana Matcha. Both drinks had nice flavor profiles and were a great way to start off our day. Overall, we are glad we got the chance to check this spot out. They got some nice tunes playing and a laid back ambiance that is welcoming to all. I orderd the Caffe De Olla Latte with it's unrefined brown sugar, cloves, cinnamon sticks and anise. I loved the generous cinnamon flavor in the latte. Small coffee shop in a strip mall with amazing bold beans which make for a super delish espresso based drink: I got a large (extra points for having size options) pricey for $9 and I hate that they charge for subbing milk (as with any spot) but the perfect drink makes it worth it. I went twice in one day since I was in town for the day. First drink banana latte - perfection. This was a nice and unexpected find for me. I was searching Yelp, craving a matcha based drink. I found Matcha Lattes and Strawberry Matcha Lattes. I then stumbled upon an Ube Matcha Latte. One of the first things that caught my attention of this coffee shop was the interior. It's almost like a surprise because the outside windows are reflective so it's an invitation to come inside.
