I was completing a couple errands on Norse Way. Got back in my car, thought about how I wanted some coffee, then looked up and there was Wolf's Brew huge COFFEE sign! Very convenient, lol. After browsing a couple pics on Yelp, I decided to try their chai latte. (Since moving to Long Beach from San Diego two years ago, I've been DYING for a creamy cup of chai. Everywhere I'd tried so far was just a spicy cup of hot tea -- not creamy or very sweet at all. I had honestly given up looking but something about Wolf's made me try theirs.) I'm SO glad I did! I've FINALLY found my perfect cup of creamy chai latte in Long Beach! I don't live super close, but you bet I'll be making the 10-15 minute drive to get my chai latte fix every so often. Horrible experience today from beginning to end. Let me start with the horchata matcha, it was the worst matcha I have ever tasted, the color was off, had a nasty color, and it was gritty. I took 3 sips and tossed it after the matcha made me nauseous, I nearly threw up on my drive home. Fortunately I had a cold water bottle in my car and had to take small sips of water to keep me from pulling over my car and throwing up. It was absolutely disgusting!!! I regret ever walking in and will NEVER go back. The service was also the worst in my experience, with so many great coffee/matcha shops around, please do not waste your time here and do not order a matcha unless you want to waste your time and money. When I first walked in the baristas had no interest in taking my order, both girls were in a heavy conversation about their personal stuff. One was facing me from a distance and the other near the register had her back to me. When they finally took a quick pause she asked for my order and they continued to talk to each other. So then I waited, and waited, and waited for my order. Another customer comes in and I noticed same thing happening, the girls there are much more interested in their conversation than they are working and helping customers. My order took much longer than expected by no surprise to me at this point, but not because it was busy but because the baristas continued to carry on their conversation. Needless to say my drink took much longer than expected since they continued to talk and couldn't care less about the customers. Please be forewarned, this place had zero service and prepared a matcha that made ME SICK! I hate this place! read more

The Wolf's is a cozy coffee spot amidst a bunch of local shops. I tried the regular matcha and my friend had the horchata matcha. Both had a strong matcha flavor but wasn't gritty or bitter. Cute little coffee shop! They have some great choices for coffee drinkers and non coffee drinks and even have some merch. There is seating outside and inside there is some seating in the front and more towards the back. There was quite a few people when we went so I can imagine it gets pretty crowded during morning work rush and lunch. Aesthetics are winning. Perfect mix of modern with warm touches, personality and inviting. Service was quick and very friendly. There is a small back room for extra sitting mostly single person use tables as well as outside seats. Good selection of classic drinks and tons of specialties PLUS a spring menu! The spring menu is currently full of pistachio themed drinks (March 2026). They seem to have something for everyone! They also sell baked goods but around 3 pm there was none left. Horchata Matcha -- was very milky and their matcha was not very strong. I could taste the horchata not the matcha. Wouldn't necessarily get again. Lavender Latte w/ Cold Foam -- not very lavender forward more subtle. As someone who doesn't love floral drinks like this I quite enjoyed it! I'd recommend this one. 2/15/26 Lavender latte is not my usual go to drink but Wolf's Brew has me rethinking. Excellent , friendly baristas, cozy & comfortable space. Prices are fair. Would likely return to this shop when in town. Free street parking, so it's first come first served. They also sell merch like coffee beans, shirts, hats, etc. There are pastries but not much left at the end of the day. My MO, I usually buy a cup & drink it for as long as it's piping hot & leave about half when it's gone lukewarm. I couldn't wait to sip it it to the last drop. Cute small modern neighborhood coffee spot. With plenty of street parking and with several outdoor seating area, walking into the shop is where all the action is. When I came, around 9am, the room is packed with people lineup for ordering coffee, there is a window seating with couple high chairs. Menu is small but inspiring and several unique coffee drinks. There are also snacks, vegan donuts I over heard. Looks very dry tasty. Service is nice and friendly. There are at least 4 people working behind the counter, busies making drinks for everyone. Stopped by for some coffee with my husband before going to an engagement in the area. There was a line out the door, but upon further reflection it is because the shop is small and you can only fit about 2 groups in front of the register. There were about 4-5 parties in front of us, and after we ordered there were plenty of options for us to sit down. It seems as if most people order and leave. I ordered the Earl Grey Latte. Wanted a chill cafe with outdoor seating that I can come enjoy with my dog. The local coffee shop that I liked near me did not have outdoor seating so I went on a little drive and saw Wolf's Brew on google maps. Inside is super cute. They had a simple sign up with the drinks menu and the barista showed me another menu on the counter with the specials. They had a Lavender Latte and an Earl Grey Latte that I had my eye on and decided on the Earl Grey since I don't see that much at cafes. She made me a half caff cup. The earl grey is light and not what I was expecting but a good brew nonetheless. They also have a case of pastries including vegan donuts. There's a record player down the hall with some records to play, some shop merch and more couch seating at the back. Single stall restroom for patrons is clean. Wish it was closer to me because it's just such a nice vibe. We went on a Tuesday morning before the lunch rush, and there was a good amount of street parking. read more

I came here to do work at this coffe shop as it was nearby. It was busy and very popular but I was lucky enough to snag a seat. There were a few other people doing work here as well so it can be a bit noisy if you want to hop on calls. I can appreciate that they have private wifi so it helps with connecting and feeling more secure. For the coffee, I loved their maple syrup latte. It was very delicious and I don't know if it is a seasonal one, but it should belong on the rotation. The shop has a lot of cute merch and vinyls for you to browse through. The owner works behind the counter and is in the trenches with the employees so I love to see that and support businesses who operate this way. read more

As I walked into the store, I noticed there were already customers milling about. My co-worker had suggested I check out this coffee shop, so here I am! This time, I decided to indulge in a hot beverage. I went for a Lavender drink and paired it with a warm pumpkin muffin topped with sunflower seeds. I waited no longer than eight minutes for my drink, but my muffin was still nowhere to be found. After two minutes of standing there, I finally noticed the cashier, who took my order, and realized my muffin was still in the microwave. Everyone could use their coffee fix that morning, right? As for my Lavender drink, I'd rate it a solid 4 out of 5--though I do wish they offered a larger size! My muffin was warm, which was great, but it could have been fresher and less dry. Coffee here is strong! The maple latte was alright but it definitely needed to be mixed a bit. However it was still a decent coffee but it is not on the sweeter side. The almond croissant was actually pretty good. I think the inside is cute there is a few seats inside as well as outside. The staff was very nice and quick with the orders. Well, as is almost always the case, I found a new coffee shop. I used to head to Black Ring coffee, but since they decided to give up, I had to find a new shop. We were in town for a cruise, shocking, I know. We were starving and caffeine-less and needed help. We found this shop and breaky on the same cute little road. We parked right up front, and I was in a good mood, so I took a pic. Of me! Super cute little sho,p and I want to say I saw a sign for seating in back, but I didn't have coffee in me yet, so don't believe my words. They pull double shots, which I prefer, and they serve it up in the most adorable handmade (I hope) glasses with a tiny little coaster. Such a wonderful execution that makes the coffee experience FEEL comfy and cozy. The double shot was super crisp and clean on that first slurp, with sound. It was so delicious and free of the bitter finish we all despise. Excellent start. Coconut and something sweet latte was a banger! I ordered it with half the sweetener, which was a sharp move to allow the coffee to shine, and shine it did! Man, I always find the dopest shops in other towns! Been here a few times now and everytime I've tried something new and it's amazing everytime! They usually have a good seasonal menu with a few different drinks to choose from. I hadn't been on Norse Way in quite a while so had no idea this cool little coffee place existed. It was a hot day so I wanted a cold drink. I went with the Cold Brew Palmer--cold brew mixed with lemonade. It seemed like a counterintuitive pairing, but it turned out to be quite delicious! Great coffee with a fun menu. They seem to make their syrups in house and they have some cute seating in the back, though not much. I took a point off because it is on the pricey side (an extra dollar for alt milk or a cream top) and they have a minimal food menu of just oatmeal and pastries. Neighborhood coffee shop by Long Beach Airport. I landed early in the morning and this was the closest caffeine source. I followed my GPS to this location like moths to a flame. Wolf's has a very eclectic storefront. Blue benches offer outside seating. A cozy interior offers a simple menu with some specialties. I ordered a latte and it was a nice medium roast that hit my caffeine craving. The pastries are from a local bakery and they also have donuts sourced for a local donut shop. Walked in here with my sister ( we are Hispanic) both white baristas just starred at us coldly, no greeting at all. Shop wasn't even busy when we were there.
