For a brewery simply named after the area code this place is pretty great DIY flights of any size

A great bar that's kind of in the middle of nowhere in the Valley but, a nice quick walk or even bike ride off the Canoga path in Canoga Park/Chatsworth. You order at the bar for beer, not the tables. People usually form a line. The beers are their own, original and delicious - pretty rare, usually it's original but not great, or delicious but you've had it 100 times. They manage to hit the mark on both - like their Krampus was just a great winter beer. The pizza is a little confusing at first as you order via webpage/QR at your table, not the bar, and it's brought to you from next door. Typical personal pan size feeds one or two, good flavor reasonable prices. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The trivia on Mondays is more entertaining than your average with some funny categories and changes in play style.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love this bar and will definitely be back.

I don't come too often . I was surprised to see a pretty good hazy ipa ! We came on a Thursday night around 10pm. Found enough seating. Certain parts of the place is very loud. Parking can be tight on the lot. Service is positive.

I grew uo in the 818 area,I had to stop here and check out the brewery and it's a gem great beer, I had the Valley girl (blond beer) my husband had The Jefe, both beers were great, got a few souvenirs amount beers to take home. I was gonna give them 4 stars because food ordered comes from next door and it's fried bar food, not a fan of it, but then saw that their [[HIGHLIGHT]]dog friendly[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and that did it for me, and the great beer ....

One of the better valley breweries. And they're advertised as a Dodgers bar, which is great because it's guaranteed to be a place to watch their games! They partner with the pizzeria next door - but I think about half of their menu? Honestly, just order the soft pretzel or maybe a basic pizza and you'll at least be okay. Service is like most breweries: order at the register and they'll pour your drink right away. There's nightly entertainment of some sort. Decent amount of seating at bar height or sit down levels. Dog friendly. All around recommend this bar unless you want a gastro pub - this is not gastro.

Went in for BYOV "bring your own vinyl" and was told that an entire 2 hour time slot was filled.... Mind you, I called prior to driving 30 minutes and specifically asked all the questions I could think of Do you still have bring your own vinyl night? Is there a theme for tonight? Is there a stack of 300 vinyls waiting to be played? Full sides or only singles? Representative on the phone.. "let me speak to the organizer" - 3 minute hold It's pretty slow right now and the guy said that you can bring full albums or individual songs. You give them the record and they will play a song or two off the album. Then mix it in with other songs they play. Fast forward to a 30 minute drive and packing my vinyls.... 2 other people with vinyl, minus the dj.... "hey, do you know how this works. I brought 10 or so singles because I wasn't sure of the vibe." Patron with stack of vinyl as well as another patron "it's an open format" other patron "you might wanna go talk to that guy" Guy with bleached hair pulled back into a ponytail says "the entire night is booked" Seeing that there is only 2 other people with vinyl I asked him "you are only going to split the next two hours between three people's requests?" He "blatantly" lied and told me they were DJ'S not knowing that I had spoken to them previously. He went in to tell me that this was a DJ night and said he was taking over for two weeks. After I was visibly upset and left to close out my tab, he followed me to the bar to apologize and asked me to follow the original guy that runs it as well as him. While I am sure he is a nice guy, he literally put his boys on for the night. I told him that he really needs to communicate better with the staff about the format, but that doesn't make sense, because I was put on hold in order for the bartender to ask specific questions about the format. Unless she blatantly lied to me and didnt actually ask.... Therefore, both the organizer of the event and the staff deserve 1 star at most.

Great place! Great vibes! Great great great beer!! Lots of options. Been coming here for years now. My favorite watering hole! People are very friendly. Staff is very helpful. Family and Dog friendly too! They have food from the pizza place next door that's absolutely fabulous. Salads, pizza, wings, fries, sandwiches. So many options!!! Looking for a new spot to check out and love some great beer, this is the spot!! They even have different events all throughout the week! Love the weekly brewery bike ride!

I cant believe i haven't reviewed this before. This is hands down my favorite brewery! Whenever it's up to me to make plans I suggest coming here. They have a huge beer list as well as some seltzers. So no matter what you like to drink chances are that there will be something you like. They have tons of events throughout the year. During the week they also have trivia nights, game nights, live music, and other stuff I can't remember right now. You can also order food from the neighboring restaurant. I love their pizza, wings, fries, and pretzels. The staff is also super friendly. It isn't a huge brewery but it's my favorite place to go with friends.

What a fun place. Even if you're not a beer drinker. Most people are used to BYOB, but here you just BYO food. Great fun-raiser!

Lunch time and we were hungry. At first we wanted to have their old time favorites but saw this new food in their menu, the philly cheesesteak burrito and wagyu smashburger taco and we went for those 2. Wow, these new items on their menu rocks! So delicious and very flavorful! They are my favorites now. I don't usually consume a whole burrito, but this one I ate them all and that's how good it is, same thing for the smash taco! In addition as always their sauce corner has always been excellent. Paired with their warm thin crunchy nacho, hmm very appetizing. The place is very clean, spacing is very good, very conducive for eating atmosphere. Staff are very nice and friendly.

Located in a nondescript commercial park, HBB delivered on a variety of items, including some outstanding in house-produced beer, seltzer and some delicious homemade pizzas. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Tons of space at the bar, including several high and low-top tables and seating outside. There are several large flat screens showing local sports (Dodgers Baseball), as well as tons of board games, pinball machines and live event activities such as themed nights, live music and comedy. Also featured on this Saturday night was free live BINGO from 7-9pm, which made the event a lot of fun. The Honey Hand Blonde is fantastic! Deliciously smooth and really tasty. Some of the other local crowd favorites are Deez Nuts Brown Ale, Not a Giant Peach, and Eddie's Irish Stout. The in-house beers were great and worth exploring. Angie, the bartender, was so nice and let us try a few samples before ordering. The pizzas are delicious! Hot, fresh, great toppings and crust. A limited food menu, stick with a classic Cheese or Pepperoni, along with a Meat Lovers to enjoy with friends while watching sports or catching live entertainment. The bathrooms are gender neutral and clean compared to most Gastropubs, and there is a ton of free street parking out front. Loved the vibe and the team here, which hosted a great event for our small group. Great for parties, or watching a game, I recommend supporting Hand-Brewed Beer for some great brews and good ol' fashioned fun any night of the week.

The drinks looked good but I decided to save some calories and just had a glass of water. For food I started with clam chowder. I'm thinking it was a special since it was on a piece of paper on the table. It came in a bread bowl...it had lots or clams, bacon and potatoes. It was delicious. It could have been a meal with a small salad. So for my entree I had the lobster Mac and cheese. It was good as a well. Ooey gooey and seasoned nicely. I was almost full from the chowder so only at about 1/3 of it but would definitely recommend. It was my first time coming here and I'd definitely return.

Service - 5/10 I'm not sure if they were just so understaffed or what was going on. Food took forever to come out & it seemed as if there was only 1 waiter for the entire restaurant. She also had an ugly attitude. Price - 2/10 Honestly for pub food, it's way too overpriced. You're paying West Hollywood prices in the valley, probably more. I hate that each sandwich/burger is $15+ à la carte. Ridiculous! Cocktails - 2/10 Ordered an old fashioned multiple times & each time it was too heavy on the bitters. Gross! Ambiance - 6/10 It's a cool dive bar feel but the TV sound could've been on for the ball game. OVERALL - 6/10 It's way too overpriced to even want to come back. The food is mid, and just not worth the price. The beer options also are not it. Cocktails aren't great either. Probably wouldn't come back.
