    Tuna Melt
    Melissa L.

Blue Palms Brewhouse feels like a literal hidden gem in the Valley; I have been to The Mix plaza a couple of times now and I had never seen it until visiting for a work lunch. To eat, I had the Tuna Melt, which was surprisingly delicious! The tuna was fresh and had a great savory and spicy flavor, the cheddar cheese was melty and had a fun cheese pull, and the bread was perfectly buttered and toasted. The service was decent; not overly hospitable but not awful either. The space felt cozy and comfortable, though it was a bit warm inside when I came in. Overall, I had a great time and would love to come back again.

Came here for happy hour. It's a trendy new spot with great indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was kind and helped me with my alterations/ questions about the menu (the fries are cooked in a shared fryer.) As a Celiac, I was able to find some gluten free options and enjoy my time with friends, but this isn't a place that's necessary Celiac friendly--I fully understand that it's a brewery. My food tasted good, don't get me wrong! But the menu was very limited.

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Very good happy hour bar with good selection of food. I got here on Monday around 5 and only few tables were occupied. I usually see very busy on weekends. Ordered their popular house beer, pizza, chicken strips and fish and chips. They are all good priced and portion. I will be back again on the weekend.

Came across able Palms Brewhouse the other day while looking for a place for a late lunch. I usually don't gravitate towards brewhouses because I don't care for a lot of beer. There's a reason that they have food on their profile pic and not a beer. What a fantastic find in the sfv. The place is tucked in what you would think is strictly business district in north hills area but there's so much right here that I can't believe it when I pulled up. The brew house is nice and quietly stuck in a back corner with indoor and outdoor seating. Also important because the outdoor seating was shaded. Inside they have multiple TVs for viewing and the music playing was just as enjoyable as the vibe. They have a nice cocktail selection and while I don't drink a lot of beer. I know good beer and they have Enegren (IYKYK). I had a tequila cocktail that was delicious and a twist on a margarita. The food was phenomenal. I had a blackened fish sandwich. The tale stayed with some great pretzel knots and a cheese dipping sauce. Also what may have been some of the best smoked crispy wings I've had in some time. The staff were friendly helpful and fun. All in all this is a place to come for some food and drinks.

Stopped by this local spot as I was in the mood for a good burger and some beer. Great vibe as soon as I entered with the current World Cup game being played. Decided on the Mac and cheese (generous portion and very cheesy) and the truffle burger (so insanely flavorful, juicy, and cooked perfectly, and washed everything down with a flight of beers (favorite was definitely the porter). The service took a lil long as the guy was running around by himself helping everyone but he was doing a great job and was very friendly and polite!! Definitely would come back again as there were many other items on the menu that sounded amazing!

Drink: I got the seasonal pumpkin spice hard cider. Very very refreshing in this fall season. I love it. Service: i came in solo and there's a small counter top where people can go straight to the bar. Bartender is really friendly. Ambiance: your typical brewery with good bar food from what i saw on the menu. Next time I come into town I will be eating at this place. Plenty plenty of parking.

    Cheers to the weekend!

Came in to check it out for Friday HH and was greeted right away and encouraged to sit anywhere menus and set ups were waiting. Let me just say, I was excited to try Blue Palms for TWO reasons: 1) Maddy M. knows ALLLL the great SFV locations and 2) Starting Monday 3/2/26 Blue Palms will have TRIVIA at 6:30pm!!!! Who has 2 thumbs and LOVES competitive bar trivia???? THIS girl!!!! Ok, so, got our food order in after taking a moment to peruse both the HH menu and the regular menu. Started off with the house margarita and it was YUM! Not sugary sweet and just a cold, refreshing classic. Hubs went with the personal pepperoni pizza and I was intrigued to try their house sausages. Opted for plated, which serves 2 sausages on a bed of house spiced sauerkraut w/carmalized onions/serrano pepper slices and sides of chipotle aioli & dijon mustard. For my 2 sausages I asked which were the most popular and was told Wild Boar Andouille, Smoked Duck & Smoked Venison. I went with the boar and the duck. I was not prepared for the kick the Wild Boar Andouille had! I don't have a spice loving palette so, for me, this was spicy, but it was also tasty, which I could appreciate. The sauerkraut balanced it beautifully! I think next time I'd like to try the sausage sandwich on fresh baked Hawaiian bread with Honey mustard, sauerkraut and caramelized onion. Oooooo....! Hubs rated his pepperoni pizza a solid YUM! and says he would def get again. I would venture to say Blue Palms is elevated bar food, with rotating taps. Since we're not beer folk, I would love a sweet cider or refreshing seltzer added to their libation list. Service was attentive and the staff is friendly. The place got hopping by the time we were hopping out, about an hour into "Hoppy" Hour! I look forward to returning and - did I mention???? - THEY HAVE TRIVIA STARTING 3/2/26!!! Cheers! "CC"

This local brewery is fantastic for brews and casual bites!! Blue Palms Brewhouse in Northridge is a hidden gem for craft beer lovers and casual hangs. The rotating tap list is impressive, with knowledgeable staff happy to offer samples if you're unsure. I had a delicious hazy IPA and a perfectly made PRIME RIB FRENCH DIP (9oz. Prime Rib, French Roll, Horseradish, Swiss Cheese, Au Jus / 17) The vibe is super relaxed-plenty of seating, good music, tv showing the local games, and just the right amount of energy without being too loud. Great spot for after-work drinks, casual bites, or catching up with friends. Bonus points for solid service and fun events like trivia nights. Sit on the grass or on the patio to enjoy the So Cal weather. Definitely coming back!

Great location! Good size indoor dining, as well as a small outdoor patio dining area. Staff was extremely friendly and kind. Was there for an early dinner on a Friday and there was absolutely no wait! Which was fantastic for us! There was enough room for us to be able to select our own table. With that said for an early dinner on a Friday it was obvious it was extremely popular. We had the pretzel balls and spicy wings as our appetizers. The wings were absolutely delicious as were the onion rings! Love, the fact that they use purple onions! You don't see that very often. I tried their peachy beer a total must have! Our main dishes were all extremely well prepared and scrumptious. Highly recommend this place most definitely will be back.

They have happy hour from 3-6pm on Mondays through Fridays as of today. Good selection of snacks and beers. Pizza had thin crust and it was good with added sausages. My favorite item was fish & chips. French fries were crispy and thin; and good with crunchy fried beer battered cod. 2 pieces of fish with fries for happy hour as a snack item. Perfectly seasoned and well cooked fish with fries. I didn't like the buffalo chicken because the texture of chicken was off. I prefer fried chicken rather than baked chicken. Not a fan of this chicken though. This place seems like a good dive bar- clean and spacious with TVs for game nights with friends.

Food was great! We had sausages and nachos - both felt worth it in my opinion. Service felt very attentive, very helpful and fast. I think we waited at most 10-15 min for our food - keep in mind the it wasn't too crowded at the time. Ambiance felt clean and welcoming. They have an outdoor area with heaters as well as a lot of grass area for kids to run around. Wish i took more photos... I'll have to come back!

My buddy and I stopped by Blue Palms Brewhouse on a Thursday for some drinks and to grab some food. I have to say it's a pretty cool place. The place was happening during lunch hour. They have happy hour from Monday- Thursday 3-6pm. The HH menu looks pretty decent. They have a decent beer on tap as well. As for the food we ordered a couple sides and dishes to share. We ordered their fries and onion rings. It was decent. Just wish their onions ring portions were bigger. It only came with 6-7 rings. Beer Steamed Mussels- Good size portion to share. The mussels were on the small side but sauce was good. Elk Sausage- This was good and wasn't gamey. Great flavor. Service and staff were fantastic and friendly. Overall my buddy enjoyed it. I can see myself coming back again.

Normally happy hour is on their patio, but they seated us in their regular dining area, not sure why. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. It was a nice day out, so we requested outdoor. Unfortunately that meant I was bitten by mosquitos a couple times. All cocktails on the happy hour menu are between $10-11. I got the Boston Sour and my friend got the Social Mule. We both liked our drinks. For food, we shared the following from the happy hour menu: Green goddess hummus ($8 hh) - pretty good, but I wish there was more pita to go with the hummus! Crispy chicken sliders ($11 hh) - ginormous chicken sliders! Would highly recommend! Meatball sliders ($11) - good but on the smaller side, especially when placed side by side with the chicken sliders lol Blackened salmon tacos ($11 hh) - also good, though I found the salmon a bit bland Presentation for the drinks and all the dishes was beautifully done. Everything is plated nicely even for happy hour dishes.

The famed lobster appetizer was not for us. Bits of lobster floating in a lot of butter didn't excite us. Excellent salads. The other appetizers however, were excellent. We've been twice now had had a lot of their menu. The pork was outstanding. The rack was very good, but I've had even better racks elsewhere. The "famous" banana cream pie was good, not great, but so huge and rich it must be shared. At $30, it's maybe also a tad overpriced. The bar makes a healthy-sized martini that's worth its high-end price tag. Great wine list with wonderful advice and good-sized sample pours, even though I only drink one glass and my husband doesn't drink at all. This is a good place to splurge on a good wine. I've mentioned the above-par service. Informative and cheery, without trying to become your best friend. They went out of their way to assure us a table in a very quiet spot, due to my deafness. Very attentive without being overbearing. Their suggestions seem honest, rather than just trying to upsell everything. The place is huge and gorgeous. Flatteringly, if dimly, lit, it lends itself to romantic dinners and anniversaries. In our case, we like to have a rather luxurious and romantic and lengthy meal perhaps once a month, and feel very fortunate to be able to do so. It's divided into several smallish areas and the effect is rather cozy and intimate. It's chic and stylish, so PLEASE folks, dress for it? It especially saddens me to see a nicely dressed young woman, who obviously spent some time on herself beforehand, with a guy ( I'll guess her husband ), in shorts and a tee shirt. I say, for a place like this, where you could easily spend four bills on a good meal for two, with drinks, management, bring back a dress policy! And enforce it with a reminder email they you do so. Is a collared shirt and a pressed pair of khakis too much to ask for?

There's music that's lively without being overbearing, and the staff is uniformly friendly. But... You have to order at the bar and, though they have runners to bring your food, you do have to hunt them down for anything after the delivery (extra ketchup, etc). While this isn't my favorite system at my age, to be fair, whatever the owners are saving on staff is reflected in the prices, which are absolutely below most places in the area for food that is good-quality and drinks that are generously poured. So yes, my wife's Espresso Martini was served in a deep-bellied Belgium beer glass, and my whiskey neat was a hefty pour. Yay!! For food, I ordered the Smash Burger, which is served with melted American, grilled onions and the house version of Russian dressing (as well as pickles, which I deleted). The burgers had a nice, smashed crust while remaining juicy, the cheese was properly melted, and the grilled onions had a terrific caramelized sweetness, while the house sauce was very well-balanced: ketchupy and creamy without being too mayonnaise-heavy. A very good smasher. My wife ordered the Big Texan Burger because she wanted cheddar and frizzled onions and BBQ sauce, though she deleted the bacon and pork belly that are normally included. This, too, was a very good burger: cooked to a proper and pleasing medium-rare and well-seasoned, with a good, fresh flavor to the beef. The onion rings were less successful, which are of the beer batter type, but seemed to be a commercial, frozen product. The coating was browned but not crisp, and the flavor was relatively nondescript. We didn't really eat them, and wouldn't order them again. And so, to me, The Tipsy Cow is a bit of a mixed bag: reasonably priced decent food and reasonably priced, generously-poured drinks -- but in a mostly self-serve environment that incrementally loses its appeal in relation to your age and your dining circumstances. Certainly worth a try, but you've gotta be in the right mood.
