My blushing bride and I joined some friends for a bit of fun and fellowship at 8one8 brewery. Mission accomplished... we had good beer, good food (a selection of pizza from Osborne Kitchen), and a really good time. For mid-week, the place was full. Service was quite good. I really enjoyed the Matador Red beer. The karaoke was fun and the DJ could really belt out a tune. So did my blushing bride and her friends with "I will survive". Me, not a chance; can't dance or carry a tune and would look/act/feel completely goofy if I tried. read more

The beer is worth the many return trips! Today I had The Cat in the Hat and my husband had Black Cat Moan. A stout and Imperial Stout respectively. So darn good!! The people working the Taps are super friendly and there was a good crowd here on a Saturday evening. There is food close by if you want to have dinner here and the Dodgers were playing on the big screens. Great place in the San Fernando Valley! read more

We love coming to 818, ever since we moved to the valley it's been one of the places we visit often. Great selection of beer, fun events like trivia and karaoke and we love the food they are offering now from the next door restaurant. The beer is good and the food is okay. It's hard to support a local business when a 12 oz beer is $10+. Plus tip it's around $12 for a beer. Hard time going back even tho I'm local knowing that 2/3 beers would be $30+. Simply doesn't make sense to frequent at all. I'm also a founding 818 member and there is no discounts. Asked the staff and they looked at me like I was crazy. Didn't even know how to reply. Pure cash grab. Good marketing horrible follow through. Maybe offer at least 10% for all the 818 founding members. Supported before even opening. They told me maybe 10% on a shirt... lol. What a joke. read more

I've been coming here for a couple years now and I love it. The dog friendly environment makes it so fun and I'm a big fan of their live music events. My favorite beers are: the Valhalla, a must try, and Black cat. The food is good as well. My go to is the pulled pork fries. I often go there to study because of their free WiFi, but in all honesty I usually get distracted by the beer and the dogs. It's a family owned brewery as well! read more

Came here for my cousin's 30th birthday celebration and the place did not disappoint. It is a decent sized brewery inside with plenty of street and lot parking. The beer was very tasty and the IPA's, as I hoped, were nice and strong! The staff were super friendly as well. I live further away, but definitely hope to come back soon! read more

Went to buy a couple 4-packs today and bartender tried to charge $39+ (that's $5 per tall can). She tried to sneak a tall single can into the bill that was almost $6, then claimed that the $11 and $5-something was the price of the four packs IPA. When prices are already high, then someone tries to cheat you for more it's a real betrayal of consumer confidence. Owner should post prices and get rid of cheating bartender. Went to wine and more and bought three superior packs of beer for $39. To answer owner: was trying to purchase a 4-pack of IPA and a 4-pack of DIPA. On the receipt they were broken down as: $16+ for DIPA, $11+ for IPA, and third line item for $5+. Bartender said that the $11+$5 something was price of IPA four-pack. Tax was stated at $4+. You need to check this because nobody like feeling robbed. 1/14/25: Brian O., you can say what you want and make excuses, but if an experienced person says you are price gouging, you probably are. If you want to publicly try to explain this away, then go ahead, but you are being foolish. Anyone in their right mind wouldn't pay $39+ for two average four packs of beer. You didn't say "these are special beers"or anything. Go to Wine and More, buy a six pack of tall pizza port, a six pack of Avery, and a four-pack of orderville from modern times. Price $39 same as your two 4-packs. Does that make sense? read more

It's a cool little hole in the wall. It doesn't get too packed because it's actually hard to notice and I actually like that because I can finally hear myself think when I'm with friends. They have a big variety of beers or seltzers (for the ladies), and some wines too. And it's either the same owner or they partnered with a pizza shop, which was pretty good too! read more

Really a great spot to go and have some amazing locally brewed beers the staff were super helpful in steering us to some great Brew ideas and we greatly enjoyed it. It's also nice that the pizza place down the street delivers the food directly into the place so you can cut your beer with some delicious pizza. Highly recommended! read more

First time here and love the vibe of this place. Great local brewery in valley with spacious and plentiful seating options, including outdoor space. For fun, they have dart boards, pinball and basketball shooting arcade games. Plus lots of flat screen TV for catching latest sporting events. Got to watch Dodger's season opener today which was nice. Huge tap list, especially IPAS's and they allow you to build a flight or half order pours so that you can try multiple things. I had SchnuggleZ Hazy DDH IPA and Bag of Hops Double IPA which were both excellent. Both smooth and not to hoppy. They also have food truck onsite. Definitely worth visiting if you're a brewery fan. read more

Came in for a beer with a friend and we had the worst experience ever. It was his 1st time here so he asked "the beertender " if the machete beer was good her stupid answer was "Yeah " rolling her eyes and with the nastiest attitude ever. I have been coming here for a few years and I always like to show friends and family the place but this short stupid girl with blonde highlights ruined it. I hope management does some about it because she's a bitch and for stupid girls like her people like me stop supporting small business. Nice brewery in the North Valley and they now have a homemade patio in the front with a make shift roof over it (which I'm sure was done during Covid). Good selection of beer on tap plus they sell their own brand via those bright colored 818 cans. Service was fast at the bar where you order and then you take it out to your seat. Big screen TVs inside too. My only complaint is that the seats are hard metal and have no backs. (Ouch!) Bring your own cushions if you have a sore back or bum! read more

What a cool addition to the neighborhood. We stopped by with our mom who was visiting and wanted a place to chill and enjoy some beer on tap. The staff is friendly without any attitude and the prices are reasonable. The music was a bit too loud and the employee gladly turned the music down a notch so we could hear each other talk. They have a lot of cool 8one8 merchandise for sale which we happily purchased. read more

I really want to thank you, Sharkeys Chatsworth, for sending a "meal" that was so inedible that it ended up in my trash (the outside can because it was so disgusting) within 5 minutes of receipt. 1 point for actually making it in the flour tortilla that I requested.

Located in a nondescript commercial park, HBB delivered on a variety of items, including some outstanding in house-produced beer, seltzer and some delicious homemade pizzas. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Tons of space at the bar, including several high and low-top tables and seating outside. There are several large flat screens showing local sports (Dodgers Baseball), as well as tons of board games, pinball machines and live event activities such as themed nights, live music and comedy. Also featured on this Saturday night was free live BINGO from 7-9pm, which made the event a lot of fun. The Honey Hand Blonde is fantastic! Deliciously smooth and really tasty. Some of the other local crowd favorites are Deez Nuts Brown Ale, Not a Giant Peach, and Eddie's Irish Stout. The in-house beers were great and worth exploring. Angie, the bartender, was so nice and let us try a few samples before ordering. The pizzas are delicious! Hot, fresh, great toppings and crust. A limited food menu, stick with a classic Cheese or Pepperoni, along with a Meat Lovers to enjoy with friends while watching sports or catching live entertainment. The bathrooms are gender neutral and clean compared to most Gastropubs, and there is a ton of free street parking out front. Loved the vibe and the team here, which hosted a great event for our small group. Was left with blank stares and mainly snarky answers/responses. I don't know, perhaps I caught buddy in a wretched state which is still no excuse. All I can say out of this review is, don't support this guy. Please go somewhere else. Also, everything is covered in layers of dust.

818 Brewing has slowly become a favorite spot for me and my group of friends. It's the perfect place to hang out, play games, and catch different sports events. The beer selection is massive, and for those who aren't beer fans, they have some great non-beer options too. The food from Osborne's? Incredible! Hands down, it's my favorite pizza in the valley - absolutely delicious. The staff here are always so nice and helpful, which makes the experience even better. I can't recommend this place enough! Just a heads-up, it does get busy, so if you're planning to watch a specific game, definitely arrive early. My only wish? That it was bigger to accommodate more people and vibes! But other than that, 8one8 Brewing is a total gem. read more

I can't believe it's taken me so long to finally leave a review for 8one8 Brewery, even though I've been coming here for years. Let me tell you, this place is super chill! If you're a beer lover, you're in for a real treat. But hey, if beer isn't your thing, no worries! They've got some amazing seltzers that will hit the spot. And if seltzers aren't your jam either, don't you worry they've got wines too. And guess what? Even if you don't drink, they've got you covered with some refreshing non-alcoholic beers. Great place to drink world class beers and have fun. Great pub with events happening almost every day. Trivia on Mondays, bring your own vinyl records on Tuesday, Bike ride and local acoustic artists Wed, happy hour at opening on Thurs, Fridays are just fun, Saturdays are multiple live band performances and Sundays are rotating events. The food from Osborne Pizza kitchen is stellar and they have the best pizza and bar bites in LA. read more
