So my mom told me to try this place! Plus it was close to my house. This place is clean, workers are friendly, and it's an easy spot to find. Overall, I loved how my hair turned out in the end!! The lady started and stopped multiple times to ask the other barber if it was right or not. After ~10 minutes, she stopped and let the other person take over. At that point, I was already iffy about the cut, but had to let them continue to try and salvage it. Ultimately, the other barber did an okay job, but it wasn't what I asked for. I ended with a low taper fade and a little off the top. They charged me an extra $5 because I got a taper. It wasn't posted anywhere that I could have seen. Won't be going back to this place.

He listens to what I want/like but also suggest other options that may be more suitable. I trust him enough to where my haircut is whatever he feels like doing that day. From timeless fades to trendy korean perms, he's done it all for me. I know the location of this shop isn't optimal and can get busy sometimes. Parking lot is in the back across the street from the library, so you don't necessarily have to look for street parking.

I eventually gave up because I lost hope in ever achieving any pastel colors or even being full blonde at least once in my life. I was too afraid after all the damage my hair has been through due to hairdressers that just didn't care enough. They always said I couldn't go fully blonde, gave me colors I didn't ask for, and just never listened to what I wanted. After allowing my hair to heal for a few years, I felt ready to try again. Uy was recommended by a friend, and I've seen pictures and videos of his results and he looked promising. He did NOT disappoint. I've been happily blonde for 3 years now, and he touches up my roots or tones it if I feel like keeping the roots dark. He's amazing with colors, and if you can't think of one, he has beautiful recommendations! Sometimes I'll even get a Brazilian Blowout if I feel like treating myself (highly recommend!). He never rushes when he works on your hair and you can really tell that he cares. He'll never do anything that will damage your hair, and he'll help you with tips to keep it healthy! With school just starting up, I made the drive out to see Loan for a little snipity snip refresher. No appointments are taken so walk ins are 100% how Cali's Perfect Cuts roll. Aim for weekday visits and random times so you avoid long waits as much as you can. We love our visits with Loan and I am especially thankful that she is so attentive to my little one. She makes her feel seen and genuinely listens to what she has to say. The smiles don't stop while my 6yo is in the chair and she is always left in awe with the aftermath results. Additionally, the instruments were not sanitized between clients -- something I witnessed firsthand -- and hair repeatedly fell into my son's eyes, requiring multiple redirections throughout the haircut. As a returning customer, I expected better. I sincerely hope this business takes the opportunity to make honest amends. In a competitive market, standing out requires continuously and transparently accepting feedback and committing to improvement in order to deliver the best possible customer service. I have done my part, and I hope this business does theirs. ------- Went for a boys haircut. Hair from the cut covered over eyelashes, face and clothes. The haircut person did not bother to clean it up until I started cleaning it. At the end, I noticed that there was a scratch on the ear with some blood coming out. Their instruments are never sanitized. Infact the haircut instrument used was so old that it made a pretty loud sound. We were seen by Li today. Never going back again!
