I come here weekly. everything I try is always delicious. This past weekend indulged in cornbread pancakes paired with perfectly cooked fried chicken. The harmonious blend of flavors and great customer service always leave a lasting impression. Can't wait to go back.

First time here and enjoyed it. Cute little local place. They have counter seating and a few booths. We did have to wait a few minutes which we didn't mind. It's tucked away in a little strip mall so plenty of parking. They do offer carry out if you do not want to eat inside. The prices are average and servings are good. I had two eggs, toast and home fries with side of bacon. My husband had breakfast sandwich. We both had coffee. We found the cost reasonable for the two of us before tip under $30. Our waitress came over many times to check on us which you usually don't get in a chain restaurant. Can't wait to come back again

    Menu - PRESSED sandwiches

I ordered a pressed Cuban sandwich and I was given an over toasted and dry hoagie sandwich! I also ordered and open faced cali omelette and they didn't include the avocado. I called to express the concerns with my order and asked to return it for my money back. I was placed in hold for her to determine if I was lying about missing avocado with the person who prepared my order, and then proceeded to tell me they don't sell pressed sandwiches anymore. I explained per their menu and pictures online, they are false advertising and I was misled. She replied that their food is as is and there was nothing she can do. She asked me to call her back in 5 minutes so that she can speak with the owner to inquire on my refund request and when I called back, I was advised that since I left with my TAKE OUT order that they can't give me my money back. I asked to speak to the manager, and the person, named Sadie told me she was the manager. I asked for the owner who she confirmed denied my refund request and she stated she was out of the country and that they will not be allowing me to return my order or get a refund! I asked for the owners name and she refused to give me that information. Never again. If I could leave a negative 5 star review,I would. Accountability goes far and as a business this is not a good look!

Absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect & fresh. So happy they're on DoorDash too. My go to place from now on!

The salsa was honestly unlike anything I've ever tasted. It was Tomato forward in a good way; fresh, flavorful, perfectly balanced, and addicting. My wife and ate the whole basket of chips and salsa and that's something we never do! Most places treat salsa like an afterthought, but El Paso made it feel like part of the main experience. My wife ordered the Fajitas Mixtos with chicken and shrimp, and the presentation alone had everyone turning their heads. Everything came out sizzling hot, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The shrimp were juicy, the chicken had great char and flavor, and even the vegetables were fresh and vibrant. I had the Burrito Al Pastor, and it was incredible. Packed with flavor, tender meat, and made with care from the first bite to the last. What really stood out to me was something a lot of Mexican restaurants miss which is the rice and beans were actually seasoned. You could tell attention was paid to every part of the plate, not just the main dish. The food, service, and overall atmosphere made this one of the best dining experiences we've had in a while. If you're debating whether to try El Paso Restaurant, do yourself a favor and go hungry. We'll definitely be back.

We attended a small graduation party here this evening, and everything from start to finish was outstanding. The restaurant was spotless, beautifully festive, and had such a welcoming atmosphere. The service was absolutely top level -- attentive, friendly, and organized all night long. But the real star was the food. Our party of 10 all received the correct meals, which is impressive on its own, but every single dish came out hot, fresh, comforting, and packed with flavor. Not one complaint from anyone at the table. This was one of those rare dining experiences where everything just clicked. I honestly cannot wait to come back again.

The plain croissants were perfectly fluffy and flaky. The almond square was pure heaven with a deep almond flavored frangipane surrounded by crunchy layers. The bakery itself is really cute. This place is massive, with lots of tables to dine in, and a bakery section. We ordered the following: Mondongo (pequeño), bandeja paisa, lengua sudada, and res apanada. The food came out in about 20 minutes. The serving sizes were a little bigger than normal (I am not complaining), every plate looked delicious, and all the plates were hot and fresh. The mondongo was tasty and had a good amount of tripe and the right thickness of the broth. I chuckled when I saw the side of banana, but honestly, it made for a good desert. The bandeja paisa brings a litte bit of everything and it all was cooked well. The lengua sudada was very tender and flavorful and the yucca was soft, with the sauce it was in giving it a really good flavor. The res apanada was a bit tough and the breading did not stick on too well, but overall the flavor was good and the breading was crispy which I enjoyed. The best part of it all was the prices. It is very affordable and you will leave full.   The bakery is inexpensive and the items I have tried and good. They do have a large parking lot and it's free. While in the area, you could visit the Slater Mill (they have tours you could sign up for) or visit the public library. One thing to note is that the GPS might bring you to their old location a couple blocks up the street, so do a little bit of research for the address beforehand.

Parking is tough but you should be able to find street parking without a long walk. I knew the restaurant was small and was worried we'd have trouble finding a seat because of that. However, we were the only customers in there for a solid 10 minutes when we first arrived. The restaurant itself was adorable! Small but nicely decorated and furnished. I appreciated the stars on the ceiling. The staff were friendly and gave us as much time as we needed with the menu before we ordered at the counter. I had the chicken empanadas and the shrimp poboy. The food came out quickly and was piping hot and fresh. The empanadas were excellent. Great flavor and tasted high quality. I found them to be a little oily but that wasn't anything a napkin couldn't fix. The shrimp was cooked well and I liked the sauce it came with. Their bread was also super soft and tasted freshly baked. Definitely something I'd consider ordering again! Overall, I'd definitely come back to the White Owl and would love to check out more things on the menu.

The corn was good but not as good as I was hoping they would be. The mister enjoyed the beef bulgogi sammy - the chicken was cooked nicely but was missing that oomph. My favorite thing were the empanadas. There is a self service water station. Service was quick and friendly, place was airy and welcoming. We won't rush back but if in the area would like to try other options.

Come for the décor, stay because your food hasn't arrived yet…read moreAfter seeing WhatDidYouEatTodaySir hype up Marvin's Delicatessen, I figured it was worth the ride down from the Boston area. I love a good deli. Unfortunately, this wasn't just disappointing--it was borderline comical. Let's start with the good: the place looks fantastic. Clean, modern, really well done. If Yelp rated based on interior design alone, this place is pushing 5 stars. Now... the rest. First clue something was off--the dining room felt like a walk-in freezer. Not exaggerating: every single table had people eating in their coats. At some point you have to look around and think, "maybe we turn the heat up before someone orders a side of frostbite." Then came the wait. And the wait. And the wait. Close to an hour for deli sandwiches. During that time, I had a clear view of the kitchen, which turned into dinner and a show. Plates were coming back nonstop--wrong bread, wrong orders, total confusion. It was like watching a live-action blooper reel. Eventually, our food arrives... and of course, it's wrong. Back it goes. No big deal--mistakes happen. Round two: soup comes out with vegetables after my wife clearly explained she has an allergy. The waitress caught it (thankfully), and back it goes again. What finally came out can only be described as "chicken soup in spirit." It tasted like someone waved a bouillon cube over hot water and called it a day. No seasoning, no substance, and I'm pretty sure the "chicken" made a brief guest appearance and left. Her sandwich? Also wrong--and somehow included onions and mystery vegetables. So that was basically game over. I ordered the 50/50 (pastrami and corned beef). I say "ordered," but identifying what actually showed up was a bit of a guessing game. The meat was dry--painfully dry. The pastrami (I think?) had the texture of kindling wood and looked like it had been sliced by someone who just discovered what a knife is. Tough, stringy, and completely lacking that juicy, melt-in-your-mouth quality you expect from a deli. The waitress seemed nice enough but didn't really know the menu, and the kitchen was clearly in full chaos mode. One guy--who I assume was the owner or manager--was running around like a man trying to put out ten fires with a squirt gun. At some point, we just started laughing. Not because it was good--because it was so bad it crossed into "you can't make this up" territory. Maybe I'm spoiled coming from the North Shore, where delis take pride in their corned beef and pastrami. But if you're going to call yourself a delicatessen, you've got to at least get the basics right. This place has the look, but none of the execution. I wouldn't go back. I wouldn't recommend it. And next time I'll just stay north of the border where the sandwiches actually show up correctly--and edible.
