El Paso Restaurant absolutely exceeded expectations. From the moment the chips and salsa hit the table, I knew this place was different. The salsa was honestly unlike anything I've ever tasted. It was Tomato forward in a good way; fresh, flavorful, perfectly balanced, and addicting. My wife and ate the whole basket of chips and salsa and that's something we never do! Most places treat salsa like an afterthought, but El Paso made it feel like part of the main experience. My wife ordered the Fajitas Mixtos with chicken and shrimp, and the presentation alone had everyone turning their heads. Everything came out sizzling hot, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The shrimp were juicy, the chicken had great char and flavor, and even the vegetables were fresh and vibrant. I had the Burrito Al Pastor, and it was incredible. Packed with flavor, tender meat, and made with care from the first bite to the last. What really stood out to me was something a lot of Mexican restaurants miss which is the rice and beans were actually seasoned. You could tell attention was paid to every part of the plate, not just the main dish. The food, service, and overall atmosphere made this one of the best dining experiences we've had in a while. After living in Rhode Island for almost 4 years, I can honestly say tonight was the first time a restaurant truly wowed me. We attended a small graduation party here this evening, and everything from start to finish was outstanding. The restaurant was spotless, beautifully festive, and had such a welcoming atmosphere. The service was absolutely top level -- attentive, friendly, and organized all night long. But the real star was the food. Our party of 10 all received the correct meals, which is impressive on its own, but every single dish came out hot, fresh, comforting, and packed with flavor. I visited El Paso recently and was pleasantly surprised with my meal! I ordered the Ranchera Asada, which came with a taquito, house salad, and two sides. I chose pasta salad and Mexican rice for my sides. Wowww. It was a large portion - good to share or portion for two meals. I also tried their tacos (carne asada, chorizo, and al pastor) and they were also delicious. They also have handmade tortillas as well. The menu has a lot of options - entree and drink wise. This was my first time coming here. One of my good friends said they have the best birria tacos. The inside is very nice and it's clean. Took a little bit for the waitress to come and take our drink order even though there was no one there but another couple. They give you chips with salsa, complementary. The salsa was very good. My friend ordered nachos with ground beef. I did not try it, but she said it was really good and as you can see by the photo, they give you a lot. I got the Birria taco combo. Which is also a very good portion size. All the food was delicious. We did not get any alcoholic drinks, but I do wanna go back and get their margarita flight. If some reason you end up in Central Falls, you have to make your way here, especially on Sunday for a brunch. What would cost you $$$$ at other spots, the food is affordable, DELICIOUS and the portions are MASSIVE! The only reason why I cleared my two, yes two plates was that I ran 10 miles before this and I'd do it again! The highlights were definitely the massive chicarons and those drinks! Freshly made juice makes the difference. The staff is super friendly and kind, feels like family. It's a cute a little spot! Clean, and had the TVs going for the soccer game today PSG vs Miami for the Club World Cup. I have truly started to believe that this could be the best Mexican restaurant in RI (excluding Southern RI since I haven't ventured out that far), but it really does excel in delivering good food, even for breakfast. I came here on a weekend around dinner time and it was a bit busy. However, I was still able to find parking in the lot despite it being a bit small and they do have street parking in the event the lot is not enough. They do have outdoor seating but we decided to sit inside to feel refreshed. I remember coming here when they first opened around 2018 so it's been incredible to see how far they've come in improving the inside of their restaurant. I had their chimichanga with a mix of carnitas and steak. I also tried their melted cheese and protein tacos, one with steak, and the other with carnitas. The chimichanga was MASSIVE, stuffed with rice, meat, beans, and cheese and topped with lettuce and tomato with sour cream. I did ask for some sour cream on the side to give it an even more creamier taste in each bite. The tacos were also very delicious. The cheese was perfectly melted and even crispy on the edges, The tortillas were crunchy and there was a very generous amount of meat in them. I recently had their breakfast and that was also delicious. I believe I had the huevos a la Mexicana. Although the eggs were prepared with jalapeno, I did not think it was spicy. The mix ins in the eggs made them very tasty. The beans were smooth and the cheese was fresh. The plantain was ripe and perfectly fried. The plate also came with fresh homemade tortillas. The portion size is big so be prepared to be really full or take some food home. I will definitely be coming back to try other items. read more

Friendly service and the BEST birria in RI...they have awesome flavors with a crunch that other birrias around do not have. Definitely a must when you come here. Have 2-3 and you will leave stuffed. We also enjoyed some solid guac. We liked the chicharron once but didn't on a second visit. The parillada was well seasoned with nice char grilled taste. The aqua chiles was refreshing with some nice heat. My margarita was a fair $9.99 and don't miss out on the horchata, jamaica, tamarindo and other nice juices. I went for lunch with my sister, the drinks where so good they add real fruit to them! I got the pomergrante mojito and my sister got the mango they both had real fruit so yummy! I ordered the Birria tacos they were amazingg, the best I've had in RI the consome had a little spice to it but it was the perfect amount really great! My sister had the birria quesadilla with rice & refried beans it was stuffed with meat, good portion size she said the beans were amazing! We also shared the chicharron with guacamole, I feel like the guacamole was not flavorful and the chicharron was fried way to hard, to the point most of it was uneatable, service was also very slow, we did alot of waiting for the server to return and the resturant wasn't that busy but I did notice they had the 1 waitress doing take out, the dining room and make her own drinks, I felt that was alot for one person and she could have benefited from some help, please add more staff on it's unfair. I found my favorite taco spot in RI!!! It's been a long journey lol my absolute favorite food are tacos! This is a small and cute spot in the town Central Falls bordering Lincoln. There are a decent amount of seating as well. The staff was super nice and the food came out quick! Ordered: 1) guac and chips- they made one of the best guacamole! Flavors were all there and not super puréed. Got avocado chunks and great seasonings. 2) Al pastor taco- just wow...the meat was super tender and flavorful. The tortilla was hot and possibly made in house. It has a crunch and softness to it at the same time. Delish!!! 3) birrias taco combo- hefty!! It comes with 3 tacos, the consume, and rice and beans. Stopped in with another couple over the weekend. We started with a few apps, chips & guacamole, the taquitos and the esquites. We great things about the guacamole, but it tasted just like avocados.... no seasoning or anything special. The esquites, were ok, but seem to have way too much mayo. The main dishes... I came for the Birria tacos. 2 of us ordered the birria tacos, and one person ordered the birria Quesadilla. All were fantastic! I ordered the tacos and I will say I was a but jealous of the Quesadilla! So good and cheesy. Love that this place is authentic Mexican food, and so close to our house. Recently, someone told me about this restaurant in Central Falls, so I decided to give it a try. I arrived around lunch time and they had both a breakfast/brunch menu and a regular menu. Since I am a big fan of nachos, I decided to get their Azteca Nachos with Carnitas. My choice was a good one...the plate was huge...the chips were thick and crispy, most likely homemade...the toppings were all fresh and the cheese was nicely oven melted in the middle of the dish...the carnitas on top of the dish were chunky and big..I was easily able to shred some of the bigger piece with my fork...Very nicely marinated... The star of the dish was the spicy red salsa (they also have green salsa which is less spicy)...when I added that to my nacho platter, it brightened up the dish by ten fold...it was such a nice kick to the dish !!!! Viviana was my server and she was very nice and friendly...she answered many of my questions about the menu. The private parking lot in front of the restaurant is not too big (maybe about 10 spaces) but there's street parking in front and nearby. Only about 5 parking spots and all the side streets around are one ways (plan accordingly) Good think we made a reservation for 12 one month in advance... but we still had to wait. This was my first time visiting El Paso but I know they recently renovated. The place looks great! Vivid paintings, fireplace, trickling water, long bar, small waiting room. The place is modern! The food is the winner! Birria taco: D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! The meat is tender and flavorful. When ordered as a combo it comes with a dipping juice. I ordered one taco- it did not come with the dipping option. Disappointed but I was able to try my friends dipping option. I actually liked it better without the dip. I had the ranchero taquitos. Missed a little kick so I added a little hot sauce that was on the table. Made it better. I ordered the 3 taco combo. I was only able to eat the chorizo because I was full! It was good. The refried beans were EXTREMELY salty. Could use a little lighter hand there. The margaritas... Yes! Let's have some more! I started with the strawberry. It was more strawberry than liquor tasting- just how I like it. I ordered a pineapple. Strawberry was better but the pineapple was good too. Why not five stars? - the refried beans - Had to wait 20 minutes for our table even though we had reservations- they just weren't prepared - Our waitress tried really hard but she was extremely overwhelmed - We expect that on Cinco it might be slower due to the volume but our apps hit the table before our order of drinks which was 8 beers (served in bottles) and 2 margaritas. We saw 4 people behind the bar and it took forever in between ordering and being served. They were not ready for the volume. We were there for almost three hours and it took that long for us to have dinner. I will go back- it's very close to home and next time I hope theres less salt in the beans, it's easier to get a parking spot and the service is quicker. read more

As a Mexican living in Rhode Island, I've had to lower my standards a bit when it comes to finding good Mexican food -- but this place honestly surprised me. I came during Central Falls Restaurant Week with a group of friends, and we all left really happy. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share -- the bistek, adobado, and enchiladas -- and everything was flavorful and well-cooked. I had the breaded fish, and it was good. The beans and rice on the side were almost as good as back home The only downside was the drinks. I came hoping to enjoy some beers and cocktails, but the drinks were disappointing. My friends got margaritas and I ordered a michelada -- both were super watered down. We thought maybe it was a one-time mistake, so we tried ordering other drinks. I had a coronita (the margarita with the upside-down beer), and it was just as weak. One of my friends got a palomita, and it was also off. We started paying more attention and noticed the bartender might have been new or just unsure of how to make the drinks properly. It's a tough situation to bring up, so we just let it go. That said, I'll definitely be back -- but next time, I'll probably skip the cocktails read more

If I could give more stars, I would. El Paso sets a high bar for Mexican food anywhere. The quality and flavors of their food surpasses those of all the other restaurants I've tried, including the ones I visited in Mexico. I also think the chef is professionally well trained. The interior decor and presentation of the food are pleasing. I was actually the most impressed by the freshly fried tortilla chips, salsa, and distinctively delicious bean dip, which were complimentary--very generous. All the other dishes were mouth watering, as well--the taquitos, Birria tacos, crispy yucca fries with the amazing sauce, rice, and the sweet horchata laced with cacao. They've been open for 3 years and we can't believe we didn't find this little gem sooner, especially since only a few minutes away from where we live. Not sure why there weren't any photos of the interior of the restaurant on Yelp, since there are about 10 large booths and tables. Perfect for dining in. Most of the customers arrived around 2:00pm for lunch on a Sunday, so it's better to come in earlier to beat the crowd. The service was warm and welcoming. Food portions were large and reasonably priced. Clean, attractive and inviting dining area. Private parking in the front. A friend had recommended this place because they have delicious birria tacos, so we went to check it out. The restaurant is located in a small plaza next to 2 other businesses. They have a very small parking lot with room for 6-8 cars which was full, so we just parked on the street. There are two tables for outdoor seating, two tables for inside seating, plus 6 booths inside. We waited for a table and for the one server to take our order because the place was full when we went. We ordered the chicken nachos, beans and rice, and some birria tacos and they were all delicious. The server was friendly and told us about some of her favorite menu items and let us know that they serve breakfast until 2pm each day. We're looking forward to returning for some more delicious food and to try some of their breakfast items. read more

The food here is beyond delicious! I always get either the birria tacos or the birria quesadillas that come with cheese and tender steak on the inside with a side of consome. It has incredible depth in flavor and made perfect. They also come with a side of rice and beans. Recommended eaten fresh however as all the sauce does make it soggy if you wait too long. The service is average and the inside is small but the food makes everything worth it. The nachos are also delicious and big enough to share. The fried ice cream is also good but average for fried ice cream. The churros I would rate 5/10 read more
