    Blackstone Benedict

Had an overall good experience at Eggs-Up! I live about 30 minutes from Cumberland so this isn't my usual area to get breakfast but I was joining friends who live closer, and I'm glad I got to check it out. There was a bit of a snafu with seating us. They took down my name but managed to skip over us and seated about 3 or 4 tables of the same size party before I noticed that my name was still on their list and had been completely skipped over. I was a bit annoyed but they quickly sat us once I asked them about it. Our server was very nice, and even though she was busy, we didn't feel neglected at all. The food was very tasty. The menu has a lot of delicious-sounding options and it was tough making a decision. I ended up getting the Blackstone Benedict and was very satisfied with my choice. The flavored ice coffees were also really good! I tried the cinnamon sticky bun and it was great. If I lived closer I could see this becoming a more regular breakfast spot for me!

We walked in around 9am on a Sunday and were immediately greeted with a warm hello. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were told to sit anywhere we wanted, so we picked a nice booth by the windows.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We both got number 5's which is eggs, home fries, hash and toast. Everything was delicious and hot. Our waitress was probably the friendliest woman I've ever met. Best service we've had at a restaurant in a long time. Will definitely be returning!

It was Egg-selent! Be prepared there may be a wait for a table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is also a couple places for outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Friendly service, many menu choices, quiet enough for conversation, merch and framed fan art.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice and bright atmosphere. Family friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking lot to the right. Also gets full.

SO good! I had the cinnamon roll chocolate chip waffle (special) and I can't stop thinking about it. It was so flavorful and unique! Large menu with something for everyone. Cute little diner with benches outside for warmer weather. Service was fast and friendly. If you pay with cash you do not get charged the credit card fee. Will definitely be back!

The line, the line, THE LINE! We can never get in! So finally, we tried their takeout. My husband picked it up and stated he got shot daggers from patrons in line when he walked passed them to pick up our pre ordered food! I went with a ham and cheese omelet. It was smothered in cheese which I love! Their ham was really salty. Nice balance. But I can share I am a bigger fan of cubed pieces of ham as opposed to deli meat slices. When you cut it it tears apart the omelet. Eggs up does the deli meat. Home fries were fine. My toasted english muffin did not have any butter on it. Overall I would give this a 3.5 with a hope to someday make it in person!

Was not expecting to see a long line. But the line was gone pretty fast. I was on a time crunch so unfortunately couldn't wait so I ordered to go. Staff was SUPER FRIENDLY! Fast service and the cinnamon bun pancakes were DELICIOUS!!! Next time I will definitely eat in there.

This restaurant is family owned and treats you like one of their own the second you walk in the door. Table and counter seating. Serves delicious breakfast, lunch and take out. The portions are big and the prices are very fair. Great kids menu too

House omelette- home fries and English muffin. Yum!

Loved this small mom & pop breakfast spot! The menu has what you'd expect for breakfast: pancakes, omelette, etc. I went for the house omelette and it was perfect- it had ham, cheese, onions and peppers. It came with home fries which were killer. I have no clue what the seasoning on them was but it was delicious. And a choice of toast which I upgraded to an English muffin which was toasted and grilled ( I think) making it perfect. The server I had was great - she refilled my coffee frequently and got my food out quick! Thumbs up all around. I'm an out of towner but the locals seem to know this is the spot because on a Monday morning there was a wait for tables!

Found this little gem when we discovered our planned lunch spot was closed. We asked to sit at the picnic table outside on the porch for easy "social distancing" and was quickly approved. So many good things to say: 1. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. She took great care of us, and paid attention even though we were seated outside. She replaced my specialty coffee just as my first cup was getting too cool. She gladly substituted side items, no fuss, and was quick to bring extra items. 2. The Breakfast Burger! Perfect blend of textures and flavors. Runny egg yolk right in the middle of the sandwich with crispy fried edges. Great flavor on the burger, crunchy-crispy bacon (lots of it) and a lovely soft bun. 3. Yummy pancakes with strawberries. Huge real whipped cream on the hot chocolate. Crispy bacon. Creamy scrambled eggs. 4. Home fries! I don't usually care for these types of breakfast potatoes, but the seasoning on these was wonderful. Smokey, savory, and cooked just right. Definitely a great place to eat!

When trying out a new restaurant, we have little to no expectations but we go with an empty stomach & open mind. I had to look up Manville in Google maps - it's half way between Cumberland & Woonsocket. The restaurant is an unassuming storefront on a mostly residential street. We walked in & were greeted warmly. The restaurant was hopping on a late Saturday morning, so we took the two open seats at the counter. Your Mother's Favorite is truly a family affair. Dad is in the kitchen with an uncle & a son, mom is running the front of house with another son & some other relatives. We learned that this restaurant is an offshoot of their Sunnyside on the Street food truck. They offered any 1/2 lb brisket/chuck blend burger on a brioche bun for the RI Food Fights coupons. Upon recommendation of the son who was serving us at the counter, I went with their best seller: The Mother In Law - caramelized onions, Gruyere cheese, house made sauce. It was SOOOO good! The burger was perfectly cooked with a ton of delicious caramelized onions & ooey gooey melted cheese holding it all together. Hubby opted for The Hot Mom - pepper jack cheese, red onion & house-made mango habanero sauce. He will order anything that will give his taste buds a kick... & this definitely kicked! For me, the sauce was too hot. For hubby, it was definitely HOT but he couldn't get enough! I've never seen a man eat a burger that fast! LOL Hubby was so excited about the mango habanero sauce that the dad/owner came out of the kitchen to discuss creating it. He also provided us with a small container to bring home to enjoy & shared the recipe. I was in the mood for something a little sweet & ordered one slice of the French toast. It was delicious. They also do a deep fried French toast which is something I will order the next time. We got into a nice conversation with the table next to the counter. The couple were fans of the family's original food truck & are repeat customers of Your Mother's Favorite. They were also fans of RI Food Fights - especially the January #LordOfTheWings. We concur! We ogled the other delicious breakfast dishes being delivered to customers. Hubby wants to try both the Huevos Rancheros & the Biscuits with Gravy. Their pancakes are supposed to be out of this world but I will be hard pressed not to order The Mother In Law again! Even though it was very busy, the family made time to chat with us & answer questions about the restaurant & menu. We loved everything about Your Mother's Favorite & can't wait for a return visit! Lots of seating and I like the music that they play. You can definitely tell that this is a Latin inspired restaurant. Our waiter came over and he was pleasant as well. He was also the bartender but did well making sure all of his tables were taken care of along with the bar. I ordered a Coke and the crab cake Benedict. The significant other had the tea and chilaquiles. I really enjoyed my benefit. The chipotle hollandaise was slightly spicy but not overwhelming. Eggs were poached well, the crab cake was tasty, and the home fries were nice and crispy. No real complaints there! The chilaquiles were smaller than I thought they'd be but the significant other said he liked them. So, why 4 stars? I've been here before and while it's good some dishes don't blow me away. But I definitely keep coming back.
