The reason for my low review is due to the way the business is handling a refund which I thought would be simple and is based on a confusion with their staff members. Online, it states a reservation needs to be made so while reading the rules, we made a reservation. I signed the waiver for myself and my 2 kids and walked in first. I saw they had a 30% military discount and asked if I could get a refund and repurchase. I was told she couldn't refund but since it didn't apply online, I would be able to email them and request for the difference back. Ok, no big deal. I paid for the second adult in store since now I know, we get military discount. Fast forward, I email and they refuse to give a refund. They said online, they can't verify that we qualify for the discount which is why we can only get the discount in store. I find it extremely rude for them to continue to emphasize that discounts are not applicable to online reservation since their system can't verify it when they could just simply ask for us to send through email our ID to get the price difference back like many other businesses would. I could also send the receipt showing where they did already verify us in store and where the discount is applied in store. The employee told me I would be able to request a refund and if I can prove my eligibility, I feel like they should honor it. They did offer a complimentary visit but again, I'm from Dallas so with this bad experience, I'm not enticed to return or recommend this place.

She was really focused on collecting money from anyone who showed up that had not registered. One of the art offerings was clay. You can mold your clay into what ever you want. What we didn't expect to hear is once you finish molding, you take your molded clay home to paint after it drys. Why is there nothing to dry clay in the art cafe? Maybe offer color clay to create. The girls weren't happy with this. I just feel like $27 for one art project (plus $15 for adult chaperone) for 2 hours with self served drinks is not the best value. At the very least you should allow for 2 art projects. Especially given how basic they were. How long do you think molding clay will take 7 year old girls? I'll answer, 30 mins of molding. Then what? They gave us a bucket of hay and spent half an hour with two of the little ones. Afterwards, we were allowed to walk around some of the property and see the other animals and I would have sat there and watched them all day if I could. Just being in the presence of these animals brought so much joy. Definitely recommend!
