By the time my order arrived, I had experienced a full life journey. I placed my order sometime in the distant past, when dinosaurs roamed the Earth and WiFi was but a myth. The server assured me it would only take "a few minutes," but as I sat there, I'm fairly certain entire civilizations rose and fell. I think I saw a new employee join, get promoted to manager, and retire all before my appetizer even hit the table. Finally, after what felt like several years my food arrived.
