From beginning to end 911 Attic Insulation impressed me. Nick provided a thorough and fair quote and scheduled me the next week. The team headed by Andre arrived on time, set up a protective sheeting barrior, removed roof debris and old insulation, and laid batt insulation. They took before and after photos of the attic (looks beautiful now) and checked and repaired any crawlspace vents. Throughout the job Nick checked in with me making sure I was satisfied with the work. The following week I noticed one crawlspace vent was sealed adequately, but it didn't look as nice as the ones they replaced. I called Nick, and he sent Mario out to fix it. After my home inspection I wanted to replace the insulation in the attic to help regulate the temperature. I called and Oz came out within 1-2 days where he explained the situation in my attic. He was trustworthy, straight forward and and gave me a quote inline with other companies. His crew came in and knocked it out in about half a day, they laid down plastic, they were respectful, clean and efficient. When they were done they cleaned everything up and you couldn't tell anyone was there. Within hours I received all of the information I needed to get the LADWP Rebate started. Easy recommendation. Side note: Pre-insulation I had a 7-8 degree swing between upstairs and downstairs. After insulation it's been 1 degree but it's a cool climate day, time will tell. read more

Nick of 911 Attic Insulation provided me with a thorough explanation of the process involved beginning with removal of old attic insulation to the installation of the new insulation. After old insulation was removed, attic was cleaned and sanitized. Work included checking for possible openings in the attic in which rodents might be able to enter. A type of mesh screen and/or foam was used to close any openings. Mario and crew arrived promptly as scheduled. Areas surrounding their workspace were protected with plastic sheets and tape. The crew showed up when promised and completed the job in one day. They completely cleaned our entire attic removing old blown-in insulation and wood debris from roof installation 30 years ago. Then they sealed crevices and vents that needed repair in attic and perimeter of house. Once they completed this they installed new batts of R 38 fiberglass insulation. Jose, Chino and other crew members did an excellent job of putting plastic sheeting to protect floors and walls and minimize dust and also made sure to clean up and remove all materials. They wore face masks while in the house and the proper N-95 masks and disposable coveralls to protect themselves from dust and old insulation while in the attic. Max came out to give us the estimate and he was prompt and efficient in getting us the quote.
