Prepare to be surprised. Started the night with friends, 6 of us, enjoying perfect Martinis and delicious appetizers. Moved onto dinner, I had the short ribs. These weren't just short ribs with mashed potatoes, they were freaking unbelievable, super tender with a delicious sauce. My friend's dinners were also great (we all try each other's food). I have no Idea which deserts we ordered but WOW! What a special place, can't wait to go back. Why are you still reading? Go try this place.

Decided on this place for a long overdue date night. While the location is small, seating is cozy and lighting leads for an air of romance. Note this does not mean quiet. We opted for the bread and burrata cheese and then some bacon wrapped dates. The burrata was very flavorful, my husband just loves bread as a side note. The olive oil for the bread could have used some sort of flavor but was overall good. Mains were the porcini ravioli (I took my wife tax) and it was delicious. My main was the braised short ribs with a red wine reduction. This needed some salt but was delicious aside from that. I personally could have gone for more of the butternut squash purée. Over all, it was a lovely night out which me may have to do again at this venue

I walk by here all the time as normally go hang out a few doors down the street. But, I've been meaning to try this place so we came in for dinner. We sat in the outdoor garden area and it was just about perfect, comfortable, not packed together and very relaxing. Just about anything you eat or drink is going to be good when you're in this atmosphere. We started some red wine and a garden fresh salad came from the farmers market. There was so many ingredients it's hard to describe, but very organic, tasty and they can execute a great salad, very artistic too. They serve some complementary bread with oil and balsamic vinegar that was really good; we had seconds. I had the 909 flat iron steak medium rare that came on a bed of potatoes, red peppers and spinach; it was really good. Also, got to taste the linguine with shrimp & bacon. Its flavor was fantastic and it seemed to have some Chinese 5 spice; I may be wrong, but I love the spices in this dish. Overall, this is a great dining experience and we'll be coming back. The ambiance is top notch and seemed like I was in San Francisco and not Burien. The food quality was over the top and it was fresh and seemed to be very organic and healthy. This place can turn you into a vegetarian. Note, the items individually on the menu seems to be reasonably priced, but it adds up fast here and you can easily go over the $100 range for a couple pretty fast.

I don't try enough of the restaurant in the Burien area though I lived here for years now, and with how great this one was, it makes me want to explore more. I was looking at its sister restaurant 909 wine and coffee, but saw this one with the same menu but felt a little bit more causal so when with this one. Its a super tiny bar, though in the summer time, there is out door seating. The bar probably only fits 15 people max. It was pretty comfortable though, and the bartenders were fun to talk to. I made a fairly sarcastic comment/burn to the bartender, but we both got a good laugh out of it so it makes for a great dining experience if you are along and sit at the bar. The menu is pretty varied with a reasonable amount of options, and there were quite a few specials the day I went. I went with the shrimp sambuca and the bread course so I can mop up the sauce. Also got a special cocktail called the cure, which is similar to a penicillin cocktail. The shrimp sambuca was great, came with alot of pancetta and the sauce has alot of flavor. The bread was okay and did have to pay for it at. The drink was really good. Will definitely be back to try some of the other options.

You know that feeling that you get when you come across a business, restaurant, lounge or whatever and you think to yourself that you've discovered a hidden gem? That's what happens when you visit 913 "the Place Next Door". With a name like that you can't not at least check it out. Their menu is fresh, seasonal, light but worth it. You won't need a to-go box and you will crave whatever you tired as soon as you leave. Their bartenders are not only outgoing but the know their stuff. Give them any new fancy smancy flavored liquor and they will know how to make it taste right in a drink. Don't forget they are old pros at the classics so skip the wells and let them craft a beverage and you won't regret it. I suggest the sweet tea off the specialty menu, but beware that sugary sweet flavor will knock you out if you aren't looking.

Overall food quality doesn't match the price. Environment is not great either. But service was good.

My family and I went to Tin Room last night and while the restaurant itself was cute and the staff…read morewas awesome, the food left a LOT to be desired. As an appetizer, we ordered the grilled pork belly. Served on a bed of fennel & apple salad,(?) the pork was well-cooked, tender, and had a great smoky flavor. This was the high point of the meal for me. One of my family members ordered the fish & chips as an entrée and I tasted a piece of it; it was a tasty piece of fish and a nice tartar sauce, but the slaw served with it was over-seasoned and mostly inedible. My entrée was the pork schnitzel, and it was decidedly not what I was expecting. The pork was not pounded thin, but rather served as a 1inch think boneless, breaded pork chop on a bed of sautéed purple cabbage and a mustard sauce. It was tasty but not $30 tasty, especially as the pork chop in look & taste came off as Shake & Bake? I honestly am providing this place 3.5 stars because the pork belly was yummy and the other members of my party were mostly satisfied with the meal, tho one did complain that their burger was rather dry. While I would eat there again because I would want to eat the fish n chips and try that pork belly again, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone for their first time in Burien.
