Perfect bite of the octopus special
    Jaynne L.

Had the octopus special today. The octopus was so tender and had a char taste to it which balanced with the perfectly cooked and seasoned couscous. The sauce was well rounded. I think it was tomato and chili? It was savory with some sweetness and a hint of chili or pepper. The crunch of the thinly sliced slivered was a great texture contrast to the tender octopus and sauce.

Burger and fries. Added cheese and bacon.

Recently went back to the Tin Room. Hadn't been in a while. Ownership has changed. Met the new owner and she was very nice. Like the changes that have been made. The bartender we had was very good as well. Friendly and good service. Food and drinks were good. Look forward to coming back soon.

Great food. Great libations. The place is kinda dark and eerie but that makes it more fun when you're with your friends!! Service is spot on! They were attentive.

Love this place. We go in weekly. Great food, super nice for olde Burien. Love the movie theater and happy hour. We love the owner Cheryl, you always see her with a smile in her face. Also they have the Mariners playing in the bar, if you want to catch the game.

I was in town visiting friends in Normandy Park (just moved to the area). They mentioned this restaurant. So we dined here Tuesday 12/16 evening. Our server was Hannah. She went over the menu with us. Showed us their cool little theater. Their happy hour is 7 days a week. Great happy hour prices and prices just in general. It was so nice to not have to go into the city. We ordered the happy hour bruschetta (2 orders) and the 3 piece prawns (which are giant). Our entrees consisted of the mussels with fries, flat iron steak, and the fish (rock fish) and chips. Everything was excellent. Cant wait to go back and try other stuff.

Ask the Community - The Tin Room

    Is that patio pet friendly?

I heard they are now kids friendly. Is that true? Do they take reservations?

Kids are allowed in the restaurant but not in the bar area. The restaurant and bar is on different sides of the building. I'm pretty sure they don't take reservations

    When are movies shown?

Movies are, generally, shown each night at 7:30. There are exceptions for wine tastings, comedy shows, and private parties.

I was surprised that the rest of the world (aka the people walking by on the sidewalk) disappeared while we had good conversation and great food. Dinner included a burger w/ sweet potato fries (fries were kinda bland, I think needed just a tiny bit more salt). Friends had grilled cheese sandwich and tator tots (also too bland), fish tacos, Caesar salad. All great except where noted.

We ordered the cheese curds along with the spicy dry rub wings. The cheese curds were delicious, and all of the dipping sauces were excellent, but for me, the real star of the show was the dry rub wings. They were perfectly cooked: crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and had just the right amount of spice. I also ordered the BBB Signature Cocktail without the whiskey, and it was refreshing and delicious. Our server was upbeat, fun, and incredibly sweet. In fact, every staff member we interacted with was genuinely kind and welcoming. The atmosphere felt like a true neighborhood pub, with plenty of TVs for watching the game and lots of regulars who clearly feel at home there. The guests seated in front of us were chatting with our waitress like old friends, which really added to the warm, community feel of the place. If you're looking for a laid-back neighborhood bar with great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is definitely worth a visit

On a Sunday late morning, instead of going to have some breakfast brunch in Tacoma at Denny's (my…read morefavorite grand slam breakfast), the family decided to eat at this classic nice restaurant. There's no parking so we had to park on the streets around the area. The decor is very nice and classic. I liked it. The breakfast menu has everything you can ask for. The service is excellent, attentive and fast. I ordered the French Toasts with bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs. The french toasts are thick and the best I've had anywhere, very moist and flavorful with maple syrup. The egg benedict looks desirable. Yes, it's only a classic American restaurant New Orlean Style but the ambient and decor make it's nice and enjoyable. Too bad that I wasn't there long enough to try the Southern Cuisine. The place is loud, so everyone can talk to their heart desire and no one would care. I think it's a great Sunday Brunch for any family. The prices are quite reasonable IMHO.

The FIRST time we went, we ordered from the dinner menu and when I tell you... EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD. We got the Jambalaya Grits BOMBBBB!!! The Cajun Chicken Pasta good. The Strawberry Chicken Arugula Salad refreshing and flavorful. And the Shrimp Delight another winner! Honestly, after that meal we were already talking about coming back for dinner again because there were SO many other things we wanted to try. So this time we came back for BRUNCH, and y'all... the Shrimp & Grits were GOOD. But the real surprise for me was the Country Fried Steak & Eggs with that jalapeño gravy. I did NOT realize I needed jalapeño gravy in my life like that. That sauce was EVERYTHING! The drinks were solid, the vibes were good, and the service was great. The desserts were probably the only thing that didn't really wow us they were kinda mid BUT honestly, everything else was easily a 10/10 in my book. And YES... we're definitely coming back. There are still too many things on that menu I need to try! BRUNCH TIP: If you want brunch, make sure you go between 9:00 AM-2:00 PM. Dinner starts at 2:30 PM, because they switch over the food/menu around then. So if you're looking for somewhere to eat, come with us! I'm always down for a good food adventure, and Back Sundays is officially on my "we need to go back" list. Food: 10/10 Vibes: 10/10 Drinks: Solid Desserts: Mid Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY.

My husband and I were visiting the Burien Farmer's Market and decided to stop in for lunch here. The day before our area experienced a heat wave. Apparently this effected this place of business. There were fans going everywhere, no a/c in place; I was hesitant to enter and I should have gone with my instincts. It wasn't awful so that we couldn't stand it, so we stayed. We had a very friendly waitress, wish I could remember her name but she was very good. I ordered a peach tea and my husband ordered a cider, I believe it was pineapple and another fruit based. I ordered the Ahi Taco Wrap and my husband ordered the Luna Fish and Chips. My husband's drink arrived with an apology from another server as she poured the wrong drink for him. He was gracious and took it anyway. Out come our plates. I tasted my husbands fish and found it seriously lacking in flavor; nothing great here. Now let's get to my Ahi wrap; I had serious issues with this. This includes tuna, avocado, cilantro lime coleslaw with chipotle aioli and lime on the side. House made chips and salsa were included. The wrap was hugely disappointing. The ratio of tuna to coleslaw was seriously off. 90 percent of this wrap was coleslaw. The chips weren't fresh and the salsa was just ok, had a sweet type of base, which I don't like in my salsa. The lime included was stale and I couldn't get a drop out of this. The chipotle was so so. The coleslaw had no distinctive cilantro lime flavor. This dish was entirely disappointing and priced at 19.95. Never again. My husband's dish had two pieces of fish and was priced at 18.50. So after the cost of the drinks, the meal was over 60. Shame on us for a few things: 1. For not looking closely at the prices 2. And for most importantly, for simply not grabbing a decently priced hot dog at the farmers market. I'm positive this would have been better and a better deal. We will not be back to this place. The only reason I gave this a one star was for the waitress and the peach tea. Seriously.
