The service was nice! The food was quick ! I ordered the chicken dumplings, pork dumplings, pork bun and the sweet , sour and spicy noodles . Everything was fresh tasting ! The chicken dumplings was nice and crunchy , the pork dumplings was juicy and seasoned , the pork bun was nice and soft and last but not least the noodles was okay but I didn't know they was served cold . one of the best spots on campus! it's located right outside the commons, so it's such a convenient spot for students and staff. it's always the same people at the dumpling cart, but they're incredibly nice and sometimes add extra dumplings! i come here regularly, not only out of convenience but because their food is great! i think i've tried everything out of their menu. the pork and chicken dumplings are great, and the sauce they add just brings it up a level. i personally prefer their pork dumplings, but they're great regardless. as for the buns, i have to say the veggie bun is my favorite. i wasn't a big fan of the pork bun, it seems that the veggie one just had some more flavor. they add a different sauce to these, but it's just as good! when i'm not ordering their dumplings, i love their sweet and spicy noodles! they're noodles made with a house made sauce, topped off with apple slices and cilantro. it's the perfect amount of sweet and spicy, and with the addition of the sliced apples it tastes so refreshing. i'm not too big of a fan of their sesame noodles, but my partner really enjoys it! for my own preference, i wish it was a little more savory. both are refreshing! anyway, it's a nice spot with great food. it's great for when you're on the go. read more

This dumpling cart used to be my Thursday treat to myself before class. I would get the fried dumplings and it would come with this sauce that would coat them. Sometimes there was a bit to much sauce but I would also get a cold noodle option that would pair well with the sweet sauce of the dumplings giving a balance in flavors. Usually they would come out really fast so this is a great cart to get something quick while you are on the way to an event or class. read more

The best food I've ever had. Was made fresh in front of me, presentation was beautiful. I had the dumplings, the bao, and the spicy noodles and all were incredible. Prices were fair for being located in richmond. Everything was perfect- the bao was soft and moist without being soggy and was cooked perfectly and the sauce was incredible. The noodles were the perfect texture, which is hard to do. I loved the dumplings and would genuinely wait in 3 hour traffic just to get some. The location is a little inconvenient if you're not a college student and the parking sucks, but wowie is it worth it. I would let them run me over with the truck repeatedly over and over again if it meant I could have another dumpling. Wow. read more

These dumplings are so good. I grew up eating Marco & Luca's dumplings in Charlottesville, and since moving away I have always looked for a similar dumpling (fried super crispy, perfectly sweet and spicy sauce, cheap) in other cities with no success. These are extremely similar, maybe identical. Everything else they serve is also delicious, but the fried pork dumplings will always be my favorite. read more

I love the food from this food truck! I discovered it while I was a student at VCU, and I went there for lunch as many days as I could up until everything closed due to COVID in March of this year (2020). Not only is the food good, but you get a good-sized serving of each item you order for a good, reasonable price. I graduated back in May 2020, so I'm not sure how often I'll be able to come back to the food truck when they are able to come back to campus, but I highly recommend this food truck. They are also located at a spot on campus where many students walk past, so it is easy to be able to get food from there on your way to any other part of campus. read more
