Yummy yum yum! This is the second 92 Chicken I have visited, and after having a great experience at the Westchase location, I wanted to check out this location. This location was definitely a slower than the other location, but the employee was pleasant and nice. I went again with the soy garlic flavor, which I love, and I decided on trying the Yangnyeom flavor, which is a sweet and spicy flavor popular in Korea. Also ordered a side of curly fries. I love the salty soy garlic flavor! The Yangnyeom was not bad, but it was more sweet than I had anticipated. There wasn't really much spice to it. If you like sweeter sauces, this might be for you. The curly fries were scrumptious! The regular fries were a bit disappointing . Overall great job!

I liked this place so much that I had to get a review in the books quick! Looking for ideas for a little weekday dinner date, my dining companion suggested this place since I was going to be in the area. She came in clutch with that decision because I think I have found my favorite spot for some good Korean Fried Chicken! I don't know where this place originated, but they have quite a few locations in the states and this is one of two in the Houston area. This location is located in Sugarland in a large shopping complex with lots of parking. Inside is spacious with lots of seating and a bunch of TVs playing KPop things. It was empty when we arrived and only one other party sat down while we were there. There was a few pick up orders. Usually my mind would start wondering why it's so empty, but it was probably just a slow day because what they serve is amazing. The young lady helping us was a little shy and it was hard to get real suggestions when asked, but I was happy with my order in the end. They have items other than KFC like fish, tofu, and appetizers like fried gizzards, calamari and beef bulgogi dumplings. They were advertising a popcorn chicken special as well. As far as chicken goes, it comes in tenders, wings or drums. I'm a wing fanatic so I went that route. For sauces, they got quite a few options to choose from. There was some unfamiliar names of sauces so I had to waste the employees time trying to get a descriptions. I think adding descriptions to the menu would go a long way. For my spicy option, I went with the garlic spicy which was their second to last spicy level. For my new to me flavor, I went with the curry sauce. Remember, this is Korean fried chicken, it takes a little bit of time to be made because it twice fried. Pack your patience because the end result is well worth the wait. Between the two of us we got 4 flavors and a side of curly fries and regular fries. I will say, the prices here are pretty high. Six bucks for a regular serving of fries is a bit excessive. Ten wings with fries and a drink, tax and tip almost hit the 30 dollar mark. I knew as soon as they put our food down that I was in for a treat. We went down the line and tried each wing at the same time. Every new flavor I kept telling myself it kept getting better and better. After having them all, if I had to choose, I would say the garlic spicy was amazing with the curry a close second. The soy garlic and yangnyeom were very solid contenders too. The crunch on these wings was perfection. The wings were saucy but someone kept a crunch the whole time. They were also very meaty wings. The expensive sides were both very good too. They only have canned drinks which was a bummer. Places that serve spicy food should have fountains for refills. They didn't even offer ice. All in all, though it was a pricy wing meal, 92 Chicken has moved up as my favorite Korean Fried Chicken joint. I will most definitely be back!

I think this might be my FAVORITE Korean Fried Chicken spot!!! I've been wanting to try 92 Chicken for years. I remember when they first opened in Houston, but the location was really bad (close to W Little York & Eldridge), and they had to close down before I got the chance. I'm glad that they came back, and stronger than ever with multiple of other locations. We ordered the 5 piece drumsticks in Garlic Spicy, and the 10 pieces wings in Cheongyang and Honey Garlic. Those drumsticks are HUGE!!! And so freaking juicy omg. You can can also eat the wings clean off the bone... that's how tender and JUICY they are omg. If you like mayo (like me), you will love the Cheongyang sauce. How's the crunch? CRUNCHY. CRISPY. PERFECT. I'm not gonna name names, but at some other korean fried chicken spots, the sauce makes the skin not as crispy anymore. Not here though! like just look at the photos!!!!! The lady running the front was very patient and walked us through the menu. During our meal, she also checked up on us. The restaurant is also clean! Clean bathrooms :)

This place is our new favorite Korean fried chicken spot! The space is super clean and they had a wide selection on the menu. The staff was also kind and nice! We decided to try their 10 pieces wings, which can be split into two different flavors. The wait from when we placed our order to-go in person to receiving our order was about 20-25 minutes, but well worth the wait! We got the original and spicy garlic. Which, don't worry, it wasn't spicy! I was able to eat it even with low spice tolerance hehe. We also tried their French fries. Their flavors were so delicious and well seasoned. It was super crispy yet not dripping in grease! The French fries were thick and the seasoning is so gooood filled with herbs and not very salty. The spicy garlic definitely reminds us of bbq sauce flavor, less on the garlic side but still yummy. My favorite was original. Same herb seasoning as the fries I loved sm haha! The only thing is if you want radish, it's charged as a $1.99 side. But other than that, a solid place for us! We definitely will be back to try other flavors like the soy garlic!!

Korean Fried Chicken in Sugar Land. I ordered naked wings since all the sauces have soy. My husband ordered fried gizzards with soy garlic sauce on the side. It's hot, fresh, crispy, and so flavorful (yes even the plain is flavorful). He really enjoyed the soy garlic. The gizzards are a little more on the smaller side, but they're generous with their portion. I also heard wonderful things about the curry. I'll ask him to rate that next time. Service - the associate at the front was very courteous and accommodating. She was nice and helpful especially when I was inquiring about soy proteins. There are plenty of seating and a self-serve water station on the side. There are multiple TV's playing K-pop while you eat. The price is a slight more than typical korean fried chicken, but I expect it in Sugar Land, rent is more expensive overall. We will definitely be back for more!

Really good Korean fried chicken. Tried them for take out and dine-in For the cheese dusted fried, if you're ordering those, really recommend you eating it there. It's a world of difference in quality. They'll mention it when ordering but please be aware it'll take a little time than you probably expect for the chicken to be ready, so plan accordigmy

This is the best locally owned place for korean fried chicken! Plenty of seating and TVs with KPOP playing. The workers are always nice! I've been here multiple times, and the food always comes out hot and fresh! They have a ton of flavors to choose from, and I personally like the honey garlic the most. My vegan friend got the tofu tenders, and those were really good!! They can be coated in a sauce and fries are included. I saw that they have naked wings on the menu, which I want to try next time!

Best korean fried chicken in Houston! Vivian was very attentive and helpful with explaining the menu items. Family-friendly spot with a good amount of seating, wasn't noisy at all when I visited. Will definitely be back!

Come for the chicken--skip the rest. The fried chicken was the star of the meal: juicy on the inside, perfectly crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor. Rating was purely for the chicken. The curly fries were tasty, but the portion was disappointingly small for the price. As for the daikon, it wasn't complimentary, so we paid for some - unfortunately, it was bland and watered down, definitely not worth getting. There wasn't a lot of customers so it felt pretty empty. Service was quick.

I came here recently as this place newly opened. They are known for their Korean fried chicken. I ordered their soy garlic and some other spicy flavor. I also got their mozzarella sticks and curly fries. The service was decent for Korean fried chicken cause I know it does take a while to cook. I just wish the mozzarella stick had more of a cheese pull. The fries and the chicken was yummy. I forgot what flavors I got but I got soy garlic and a spicy flavor. The spicy one had a kick so be prepared. The radish was not complimentary and cost 1 dollars. The restaurant was very comfortable. They had booth seating and table and chair setting.

The wings here were good! We were told the most popular flavors were Soy Garlic and Spicy Garlic. Also good are Honey Garlic and Curry. For kids, Honey. If you order the 10 piece option, you can pick up to 2 flavors. We ended up trying 2 flavors for the 10 wings: Spicy Garlic and Curry. The curly fries were good! Nice and crispy and flavorful. The original chicken tenders were mediocre, not that crunchy. We'll definitely be back for more and to try more flavors!

Stopped in for lunch, Easy access off of Hwy 6. Very clean and spacious restaurant. Customer service was excellent, cashier was very friendly and very informative. We purchased a selection of wings and fried fish with sweet potato fries. Food was cooked to order and came out fresh and hot . Not one complaint. Will definitely be back. Atmosphere was so relaxing and the free cucumber/ lemon water was so refreshing. My favorite was the lemon pepper not too tart just right. Tang tang was almost a sweet heat flavor,to me the honey garlic and honey lemon pepper were just honey flavored light on anything else. Fish was just as crispy as the wings with a slight kick.

Since we wanted to try a variety, the staff recommended ordering a half-and-half medium pizza, which turned out to be the perfect suggestion. We went with half Italian Mob (pepperoni, onions, banana peppers, and sausage) and half Grassy Chicken (chicken, onions, and banana peppers). Both sides were flavorful, with the Detroit-style crust really standing out--crispy on the edges and soft inside. We also ordered the chicken wings with the original hot sauce, and those were a great addition. The flavor was rich and buttery--definitely a must-have alongside the pizza. Overall, the portions were generous, and we loved being able to mix and match flavors. This is a spot we'll definitely be coming back to for takeout pizza and wings.

Jill Scott Concert, Part 2 Houston…read more Two weeks ago, we came to Houston for the Jill Scott concert, only to arrive and find out the concert had been canceled because Jill Scott had COVID. So, two weeks later, we found ourselves back in Houston, determined to finally see Jill! After checking into our hotel, we decided to walk around and grab a drink. We spotted Thai's Thumbz, this cute little spot, and decided to pop in. During the day, they focus on seated dining, so there wasn't really any room for chairs at the bar. No problem, we grabbed a table and ordered drinks. I had the lychee martini, and my friend ordered a gimlet with Bombay Gin. First, the location is SO cute. There's greenery outside, along with light-up signage that practically screams, "Take a photo here!" But it was soo hot. The inside is just as beautiful, with gorgeous place settings, wicker fixtures, greenery and flowers hanging from the ceiling, and thoughtful decor throughout. The drinks were artfully crafted and delicious. My lychee martini was perfection. It wasn't overly sweet, which I loved, and it totally matched the vibe we were going for. (girls trip!) We didn't order food this time, but everything coming out of the kitchen looked fresh, smelled amazing, and looked seriously delicious. I definitely want to come back and try the food. The waiter was attentive and always nearby without being overbearing. Thai's Thumbz would be such a cute spot for a date night, birthday celebration, or happy hour with friends. If I lived in the area, I'd definitely return for the food and, of course, another lychee martini.

Thai Thumbz is a casual Thai restaurant in Sugar Land Town Center with a great Thai-inspired vibe…read morebut below average food. I ordered a Beef Panang Curry and a Sweet Sticky Rice with Fresh Mango. The curry itself was overall decent with extremely tender beef and a strong thai basil-forward flavor. It however, lacked the rich and nutty depth that I would typically expect from this curry. The rice, however was unacceptably overcooked and gelatinous. Individual grains of rice were virtually indistinguishable leading to an unpleasant mouthfeel. I was very excited to try the Mango Sticky Rice (one of my favorite desserts), but it unfortunately did not live up to my expectations. The mangoes were impressively sweet and tender despite being out of season, however the sticky rice lacked the classic salty and coconut flavor and was inconsistently cooked. Some of the grains were hard, while others were appropriately cooked making for an subpar experience. Furthermore the coconut cream used in the dish was much thicker than compared to what I've had in the past, which I believe makes for a less cohesive bite. While the food was below average, I believe this restaurant has potential given its warm ambiance, aesthetically pleasing Thai-inspired decor, and prime location with plenty of garage parking. The staff was very friendly when I visited and attentively checked up on my party throughout the meal. Overall, I would only revisit Thai Thumbz if they addressed my concerns with the consistency of their foods, especially their rice (which arguably is one of the main components of many of their dishes).
