We ordered the goat, spinach, some chicken and some goat rice as seen in the photos. Official names- Goat Biryani, Potohari Goat Karahi, Aashik Beef Kabob, Palak Paneer, Classic Chai and Garlic Naan BUT!! the one thing is appetizers coming out the same time you order a main meal- normally I would subtract a star... I love the classic chai because it's not sweet and great ratio of milk to tea. You can choose your spice level on dishes and also note that all goat items have bones. Service is a little slow but the staff is great and extremely accommodating . It's a beautiful place, clean well maintained. We had the family garlic naan I forgot which karahi but the chicken breast with a cream based sauce, mango lassi, chole (chickpeas), lahori fish. It took me this long to go because I kept looking at their prices and couldn't justify, but don't be like me and let it scare you away. The portions are definitely more than enough for 2. They are not stingy with their portion size. Looks like their weekday lunch prices are pretty decent so I'm going to have to go back for that for sure. Pretty much everything we had was great. I will say next time I want to try a more traditional tomato based Karahi. Family size Naan was $10 it's probably like 3 regular naan super fluffy not dense so it's easy to eat. Chole was perfect great flavor all around chickpeas were soft. Mango lassi was good but I think it was too heavy for me so I may pass on it next time and leave more room for food. Not sure what kind of fish they use for the lahori fish but the flavors were great, I feel like it should come with fries and I wish it was another type of fish but otherwise on point. The Karahi was chicken breast, really good flavor if you are introducing someone to Pakistani food,it's cream based so it's milder but still has great flavor. Solid karahi, excellent flavors. Lots of options to choose from, I do think there should be some explanations on the menu for those who are not familiar with karahi. The spicy level chart is a bit convoluted, so as it is right now, best bet is to get the staff's opinion on what to order based on your preferences. Prices are fair. Note that the family naan is just one giant naan, yes it's cool to hang it from a hook, but it's a bit tough to divvy up if you're looking to share. Restroom is clean, parking is easy. If you're running low on inventory, why are you still accepting customers and maintaining a waitlist? This is a basic inventory management issue that wasted our entire evening. We had no choice but to leave without eating. We ended up at our usual spot, Aga's, which never disappoints. Having heard about this great Pakistani restaurant in Sugar Land for over a year now, we knew we needed to finally come check it out. Located off a strip mall off Lexington, Karahi Boys offers Pakistani cuisine in a beautifully created restaurant. The restaurant is clean and has a modern decor to it. The generous amount of windows provides plenty of natural sunlight. I came to place a to go order on a Thursday around 4:30pm and was greeted by a very nice hostess. After asking for some of her recommendations, I finally settled on 3 dishes and of course, the infamous family sized naan. I ordered the Pothuri Chicken Karahi (boneless), the beef kabob and the paneer tikka. The Karahi was hands down my favorite. It is a flavorful chicken dish with the most aromatic and savory gravy, made with yogurt. The chicken was a bit on the dry side but the gravy made up for it. The beef kabobs had a great flavor and the raw white onions paired perfectly with it, along with the spicy green sauce. The paneer tikka was also delicious, with a slightly sweet chutney sauce that went along with it. LThe giant family sized butter garlic naan was exactly as you would expect! Soft and fluffy and yummy. Overall, I enjoyed the food here but it was definitely on the pricier side. The 3 dishes and naan came out to about $71. I wish the entrees came with basmati rice but that was an additional $7! Pretty pricey. read more

What a beautiful restaurant, was pleasantly surprised by this place! I'm not typically a Karahi person, so while I've been aware of this restaurant for quite some time, I never thought to check it out. We went with another couple who were keen to try it, and I'm so glad we did. First of all, I love that they spent time on the aesthetic of the restaurant. A lot of great Indian/ Pakistani places don't worry about how the restaurant looks, just that the food is great. I think you can have both- and this place delivers. There are beautiful paintings on the wall, and huge framed kites which reminded my mates of back home- In India and Pakistan. Also, I love the presentation of their food, I'm sure by now everyone has seen the hanging family size naan. I love how detail oriented these folks are when thinking about the customer experience. The service was wonderful, they constantly came by and refilled my pregnant friend's water, and were there to answer any questions we had. Now on to the food- everything was Delicious but there are definitely some things I'd change on my next visit. Their BBQ section has this ground (aashik) chicken kabab- it's so good. Better than a lot of places I've had, it's likely in my top ten! Their ground beef kebab was a miss though, it wasn't bad, just didn't wow me. Their butter chicken was passable but not reminiscent of the butter chicken I've grown up with- where it's sweet AND savory. I'd pass on it next time. I love that there's a Pakistani focused restaurant in Houston. The food and flavors are a bit different from Indian cuisine. Their family naan is crispy, buttery, and fresh so it's not soft and soft like some places who pre-make the naans. I love that they put fresh ginger in their dishes because it elevates the dish and makes it helathier too. Came here for dinner with my family. I had seen many videos online but it is not worth the hype. We got the fish fry appetizer to start which was nice. The rest of the food was nothing special. I prefer the karahi at Aga's. Our server was a bit rude and kept asking "huh" while we ordered. Someone new ended up helping as after. We ordered Chicken Dum Biryani, Mustanda Tandoori Wings and sesame naan. What they are known for in Canada most, are their Karahi's & we tried most of them during our visits. Somehow, I would focus only on grilled entrees. Ambiance is good, very ethnic, with beautiful paintings on the wall. Service is ok, as sometimes despite having open spaces, they put you in a corner. No matter what you try they don't seem to care. That happens often, so they really need to respect their clients. If it is a problem, they should not take walk ins at all and should exclusively take reservations. Servers are polite, front desk staff is also nice. read more

Karahi Boys is sure to be a sugar land staple! We came here as a party of 3 for a Sat lunch around 12:15pm and this place was already bustling with energy. The inside of the restaurant is very nice with lots of colorful artwork and cool light fixtures. The restaurant is fairly large and they'd be able to accommodate a couple larger parties if you gave them a heads up. My advice, come here with a fun group and share everything family style. We tried their Gosht Khor Platter (2 chicken kababs, 2 beef kababs, 4 Malai boti, and 4 Tikka boti), KBoys Chicken Karahi, and a family sized butter naan. Talk about big portions... There were only 3 of us on this visit, but this could easily have fed 4 - 5 people. Everything tasted great, I only wish they offered the garlic naan in the family sized portion as well. Service was ok, I did feel like the waiter was kind of rushing us and didn't want to answer our questions about the menu. Overall the food was great even though the service could use a little improvement. Came in on a Sunday night around 7pm. The place was packed and loud. It's definitely not an intimate date spot! We ordered a mango lassi, but they don't put the order in until you put in your entire dinner order(from drinks to entrées). Once you order, you don't see your server again. So, when you need your water vase refilled or if you want to order another drink, you need to flag down someone walking by. The mango lassi was creamy and delicious . We ordered patakha chicken as our appetizer. I wasn't impressed. It tasted like chicken nuggets with some seasoning. The appetizer took over 30 min to get. We also ordered : Chicken biryani Family naan Anarkali bindhi Namak mandi goat- half Potohari chicken- half Unless you order biryani, none of the meats come with a side of rice and you'll be stuck eating just meat by itself. The entrées took over an hour to come. All the food was absolutely delicious, it was fragrant and all the spices blended together perfectly! It was too spicy for our kids, not sure if they have different spice levels ( no one asked spicy or not) Overall the food is great, but just like all the reviews warn, the service is slow and terrible. I was let down by the flavor of the food and high prices. I don't need the food to be spicy but for a place named Karahi Boys I expected the karahis to have a little more flavor. They were just bland. The chapli kebab was also too thick and a little dry. The naans and roti were soft which was nice. The drinks were also week in flavor. The mango mojito tasted watered down. This restaurant has a classy and sophisticated vibe. The decorations are so nice and lighting is amazing. Clean. Plates and glasses are upscale. The food is big portions. Shareable. AND SUPER Flavorful. I tried the garden salad, this was fresh and light very colorful. I had the butter chicken karahi with garlic naan and butter. Shared with a coworker and we were so full and had some to take home. We also had the mango mojito which are non alcoholic and again refreshing and yummy. Service was amazing with Kim. When we first walked in, we were greeted with smiling faces at the host stand and we were swiftly walked to our table. The place is beautifully decorated. You can tell it's upscale in here but casual at the same time. Very chic but also very inviting. Let's start with the food. We tried quite a plethora of dishes. We had the fries, chitti chicken karahi, charsi goat karahi, Chapli kebab, jeera rice and family style Naan. The best dish was the chitti chicken. It was succulent and the fresh ginger really accentuated the oils and spices. The charsi goat was also very flavorful. I'd get this again and not share. It had fatty parts and bone marrow you can suck out. Both dishes were oily but not enough to overpower the flavor. These weren't supposed to be spicy but they were easily a 4/10 in spice levels. Yes, I'm a ninny.. I'd skip the family Naan. It was dry after about 5min. Maybe better for the individual naan. This place was very good imo. I've had Pakistan food from hole in the wall places near Hilcroft/59 area. This is more chic, mainstream and can get a larger crowd in to enjoy karahi family style. Karahi Boys had some great food! We went after a hike in Brazos Bend State Park and worked up an appetite. For the two of us, we ended up getting a half order of the Charsi Goat Karahi, zeera Rice, garlic naan, buttered roti, a mango lassi, and a mango mojito. Service was fast and friendly and the waiter explained the difference between the Karahis and spice levels since there wasn't a description on the menu. (I will say we went at a very off peak time so I'm not sure if it's the same for regular dinner hours!) The food and drinks were delicious! I will warn you that even the "milder" karahis like the Charsi one we got was still fairly hot, so just be careful if you're spice sensitive (maybe have that lassi to help with the heat). If you like spicy food though, you'll have a great time! Also if you're not familiar with some of the meats, it does contain bones, which I noticed were cut in a way that made them quite sharp. The goat wasn't quite fall off the bone level, so we had to just be mindful of it. We had plenty of leftover zeera rice which we took home. I was impressed with how flavorful and spiced it was. Also, I thought the garlic naan was to die for. Overall, it was a nice trendy restaurant with delicious food! It's nice to have access to Pakistani cuisine in Houston! read more

The curry was absolutely amazing and the goat was fall off the bones soft with crunchy joints. Eating garlic nan dipped in this curry was an experience. Khara Keema is a good and safe dish to order because it is just minced beef. Also note that there will be a little bit of heat.
