Saher was an amazing server. She gave great recommendations. The perfect amount of checking in and space. I had the pink chai. It was the perfect sweet spiced chia and the color was beautiful. I would comeback just for the pink chai. The fried paaner was perfectly crisp on the outside side and tender inside. The buttered roti was nice a good. I also had the beef nihari. The beef was so tender and the sauce was rich with the perfect amount of spice . Incredible meal. The restaurant was a beautiful modern industrial yet cozy vibe. I also really appreciated having a female server as I was eating by myself.

The Potohari Karahi is my family's favorite. We recently tried the chicken 65, the chicken was cooked well but I wouldn't order this item again. I would order garlic naan, mango lassi again. The service here is exceptional, and the ambience is very nice, cultural. When you have a vast amount of options in the city, this is not the first place that comes to mind but it's worth a visit

Solid karahi, excellent flavors. Lots of options to choose from, I do think there should be some explanations on the menu for those who are not familiar with karahi. The spicy level chart is a bit convoluted, so as it is right now, best bet is to get the staff's opinion on what to order based on your preferences. Prices are fair. Note that the family naan is just one giant naan, yes it's cool to hang it from a hook, but it's a bit tough to divvy up if you're looking to share. Restroom is clean, parking is easy. Would recommend if you're in this part of town.

Chicken charsi karahi - 8.5/10 - Really tasty but had less flavor than the goat karahi Namak mandi goat karahi - 9.5/10 - Soo flavorful, not too oily, and goat was so tender Sindhi boneless chicken biryani - 7/10 - Decent biryani, lacked flavor compared to the other dishes tho Beef seekh kabob - 8.5/10 - Meat was cooked well and was tasty Butter naan - 10/10 - Some of the best naan ive had, perfectly soft and crispy I had heard mixed things about this spot but I think they have improved their quality because we enjoyed everything. They are a bit overpriced in my opinion tho. But overall a pretty good spot for desi food if youre in the area, specifically for their namak mandi goat karahi + naan

My first time at Pakistani food- it was amazing! The server was so helpful, she guided me to different tastes based on spice level, and I ordered some amazing things. Ambience is also great. Great flavor to the food- the karahi comes in boneless or bone in.

Having heard about this great Pakistani restaurant in Sugar Land for over a year now, we knew we needed to finally come check it out. Located off a strip mall off Lexington, Karahi Boys offers Pakistani cuisine in a beautifully created restaurant. The restaurant is clean and has a modern decor to it. The generous amount of windows provides plenty of natural sunlight. I came to place a to go order on a Thursday around 4:30pm and was greeted by a very nice hostess. After asking for some of her recommendations, I finally settled on 3 dishes and of course, the infamous family sized naan. I ordered the Pothuri Chicken Karahi (boneless), the beef kabob and the paneer tikka. The Karahi was hands down my favorite. It is a flavorful chicken dish with the most aromatic and savory gravy, made with yogurt. The chicken was a bit on the dry side but the gravy made up for it. The beef kabobs had a great flavor and the raw white onions paired perfectly with it, along with the spicy green sauce. The paneer tikka was also delicious, with a slightly sweet chutney sauce that went along with it. LThe giant family sized butter garlic naan was exactly as you would expect! Soft and fluffy and yummy. Overall, I enjoyed the food here but it was definitely on the pricier side. The 3 dishes and naan came out to about $71. I wish the entrees came with basmati rice but that was an additional $7! Pretty pricey.

What a beautiful restaurant, was pleasantly surprised by this place! I'm not typically a Karahi person, so while I've been aware of this restaurant for quite some time, I never thought to check it out. We went with another couple who were keen to try it, and I'm so glad we did. First of all, I love that they spent time on the aesthetic of the restaurant. A lot of great Indian/ Pakistani places don't worry about how the restaurant looks, just that the food is great. I think you can have both- and this place delivers. There are beautiful paintings on the wall, and huge framed kites which reminded my mates of back home- In India and Pakistan. Also, I love the presentation of their food, I'm sure by now everyone has seen the hanging family size naan. I love how detail oriented these folks are when thinking about the customer experience. The service was wonderful, they constantly came by and refilled my pregnant friend's water, and were there to answer any questions we had. Now on to the food- everything was Delicious but there are definitely some things I'd change on my next visit. Their BBQ section has this ground (aashik) chicken kabab- it's so good. Better than a lot of places I've had, it's likely in my top ten! Their ground beef kebab was a miss though, it wasn't bad, just didn't wow me. Their butter chicken was passable but not reminiscent of the butter chicken I've grown up with- where it's sweet AND savory. I'd pass on it next time. However their Chicken Potohari was phenomenal , we all loved it! I suspect it'll be a thing we always order. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

Amazing Karahi, obviously :). The goat Karahi, goat biryani, garlic naans was ordered and everything for the most part was great!! Tender goat is the most important thing when it comes to Pakistani cooking and they did not miss! The garlic naans were so fluffy and fresh, and the star of the show being the Karahi was phenomenal! The pink chai was so good as a drink. My only small let down was that for some reason the biryani didn't come out too hot? Not sure why but it still tasted great! Service was great from everyone, very welcoming! Beautifully decorated place and clean too!

I love that there's a Pakistani focused restaurant in Houston. The food and flavors are a bit different from Indian cuisine. Their family naan is crispy, buttery, and fresh so it's not soft and soft like some places who pre-make the naans. I love that they put fresh ginger in their dishes because it elevates the dish and makes it helathier too. The flavors are just right and feels like I'm eatikg home made food that's made with care and not rushed like most restaurant food.

Great ambience. Very nice and clean restaurant. We went during off time so it wasn't busy. The food came out pretty decent considering we ordered 4 dishes. The presentation was nice & the food was pretty flavorful. I love the spicy you get with the Goat Karahi only did the half portion because it's like a stew-like so we paired it with rice & naan!!! I also like the fact that the goat wasn't too gamey. The Goat Dum Biryani - was delicious! Rice was perfectly season and love the kicks of peppercorn for extra kick. The Murgh Makhani Karahi (butter chicken) was very saucy and goes great with the big naan. Got this because it was not spicy for the kids to eat. We had 4 adults and 3 kids this was a lot of food for us, we had to go the leftovers.

First visit here and won't be our last. We tried some favorites and some new items and loves it all. Highly recommend! Fariz (sp?) was out server and he was so nice...really everyone who helped us was nice.

Service was very friendly and accommodating as well. The food definitely lives up to the hype. I demolished the Lamb Chops (5/5) & Goat Biryani (5/5); I was worried the Lamb Chops would have a gamey taste common to meat like this, but Agas definitely did an amazing job hiding it! I also enjoyed the sauce that came with it. Don't even get me started on their Garlic Naan (5/5). We also ordered the following: - Chicken Handi: (4/5) It's definitely overshadowed by its more popular Butter Chicken, Chicken Vindaloo, and Chicken Tikka counterparts. The flavor is milder, and the tomato base is rather prominent; it was an enjoyable dish with subtle spice, but I do wish the meat portions were better, as I felt the curry sauce-to-meat ratio was imbalanced. - Fish Tikka: (3/5) Technically, my dad ordered this, not me... but not a bad dish, but forgettable, and would've been perfectly content with not ordering it in the first place. Agas definitely has other dishes that are more up my alley. While we enjoyed it, I'm not entirely sure it's any different from other Indian/Pakistani spots in Houston, but that's not gonna stop me from making a comeback. I also enjoyed their Mango Lassi, but not sure if my stomach/skin did, given the heavy dairy content... #lactoseintolerance. There's so much to choose from and explore that I look forward to returning!

I felt the service was pretty poor. Our table ordered our food and drinks at the register and 20 mins later still no drinks. I'm not sure why I needed to repeat if I ordered already and have a table number, I'm sure she could have checked that out? It was also surprising they didn't have ice, but one of the employees was so nice that he went next door to get ice and brought it to our table. Lastly, the chicken tikka leg is the best menu item. As for the beef Bihari, chicken Bihari roll, and the beef seekh kabob, I was really unimpressed. The paratha is not paratha, it's actually puree. The beef seekh kabob is more like a minced meat. I'd love to see this place succeed and feel if they can correct part of the service and also improve on a couple of the menu options, it will be a much better experience.
