Handicap accessible, easy parking, delicious menu hot and fresh buffet from soups, sushi, entrees of fresh stir fry, pepper shrimp, fried chicken, sautéed vegetables, fried rice, deserts and beverages included plus senior discounts. Booths, tables for large groups, trinkets for sale at check out like tennis shoe key rings and dolls. Friendly staff, casual dining. Warm inside . Been there many times and never disappointed! Just walk in.

I was really skeptical of this place and now I'm a fan. The sushi was high quality for buffet sushi. They also had clams and mussels!!!! Service was fast and refills were prompt. Parking is easy and free. Definitely going here again.

98 Pounds Buffet offers a good value for the price. While buffets can sometimes have lower quality food, 98 Pounds offers tasty dishes at an affordable price point. Keep in mind that dinner costs around $20-$25. Rating : 4.2 / 5.

Been there a few times. Usually food is good. The sushi isn't as impressive as you would hope. Place is normally busy, no reservation needed. Has a decent variety of things. They have good deserts. Servers are good at refilling drinks and taking empty plates on a timely manner. Restaurant is usually always warmer than it should to the point it can be a little uncomfortable. Bathrooms there aren't as good as you would hope. One of the toilet seats there wiggle and feel like you are going to fall off. Atmosphere is family friendly and casual. Overall though not a bad buffet but could be better.

Haven't been to 98 pounds buffet in awhile and it feels good to be back. The food was great and tasted fresh not dried out from sitting for a long time. The crawfish was easy to eat and not dried out from over cooking. The clams were flavorful and not too salty. The salted five spiced shrimp was good but a little hard to peel. Overall, the buffet s has a nice selection even without crab legs and Korean sliced beef. Table service was prompt and place was clean.

Great food and variety, and my child liked it too. We appreciated they had sushi as well as hot Chinese and Thai food dishes.

The lunch buffet is a little pricey but the selection is very good. Always good tasting. Hot & sour soup is the best.

I was not a fan of the cream cheese wontons, as the outside used was too thick. The servers were quick and accommodating to our drink requests & cleaning up our finished plates. Beverages are included which was nice. I love getting hot tea. The restaurant was clean & well taken care of. You pay when you first arrive with cash or card (they only take visa and mastercard). Note that if you pay with a card and add a tip, they will just give you cash from the register for the tip amount to leave at your table when you leave. I would bring cash to tip your server with at your table. After paying, you can seat yourself anywhere and a server will come by and take your beverage order. The buffet includes unlimited soft drinks, drip coffee, and hot tea. Their Dr. Pepper is extra syrupy compared to normal fountain drinks, would recommend! Throughout the meal, the server will clear your empty plates and at the end of the meal they will drop off fortune cookies and towelettes. Crab days are Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. During these days they serve lil crabs. There is also a build your own noodle station where you can choose your mix-ins and sauces, and they'll fry it up for you. The fried rice is solid and the garlic toast is shockingly really good. Food is pretty fresh and warm, and there are people constantly refilling trays and cleaning the buffet.

One standout for me was the chicken wild rice soup, which was rich, comforting, and surprisingly enjoyable even with mushrooms mixed in -- the flavors were well balanced and hearty without being overpowering. The salad bar was another strong point, with a good range of fresh ingredients and prepared salads that felt thoughtfully stocked rather than repetitive. The pizza was decent -- not the highlight of the meal, but serviceable and satisfying as part of the larger selection. To finish, the ice cream was excellent and easily one of the most enjoyable parts of the experience, offering a classic, nostalgic end to the meal. Overall, Q Cumbers is a solid choice if you're looking for variety and comfort in a relaxed, casual setting. It's especially well-suited for diners who enjoy being able to customize their meal and sample multiple items in one visit. Q Cumbers is worth a try if you haven't been. There was no one to greet you, I think this is mostly a take out place on the weekdays. I go into the back where I see a buffet looking area, before that i see that there are two papers on the wall. A price for in-dining, per lb and a price for take out. There is a young man there and I tell him I'm eating in. He takes a plate, and loads it which what I want. It's a shame its by per lb, because there were so many good item so to try, but I could only put so much on the plate. I got greens, yams, black eyed peas, bbq chicken leg and mac n cheese and jerk spaghetti. The food was overall good and I loved the jerk spaghetti and bbq chicken leg the best. I wanted to try some other stuff but I wasn't going to pay another $20 something for it.

They ordered bbq chicken, smothered chicken, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, green beans & cornbread. If i'm being honest none of the food looked appetizing in the serving trays so I was already skeptical. I've always kind of heard mixed reviews about MS but it was still on my list to check it out. My job allowed us 1 meat option, 1 side + green beans and cornbread. I got the bbq chicken and it was sitting in a watery bbq sauce (which was explained by a coworker serving it as it's a bbq gravy?) I got the baked mac and cheese, which a soul food restaurant should be able to deliver... it was just salty! The cheese burnt on top was inedible and it overall it wasn't good. The cornbread was really dry. Overall not good.
