    What they charged me

WATCH THE SCALE PRICE WHEN YOU BUY TAke out!!!! This place overcharges you for no reason. Scammers and the serve old food. The wings are grey and the customer service is terrible. Do not buy this business needs to leave so a more honest business can take over. I will be reporting them to the BBB. The picture shows how much they should carge the 7.99 but they will change the price on the scale and then charge you a dollar or 2 in "taxes" their reciepts dont show why they overcharged they are very sneaky with it

My company catered hibachi buffet for a lunch for us. Everyone absolutely loved the food. The salted green beans, cream cheese wontons, lo mein, sweet and sour chicken was so good!!! We are definitely ordering it again. Good was even hot when arrived

I am writing this review solely based off of ordering food to go, not on the actual buffet part. I knew going into things that there was a chance that they simply pulled the food from the buffet, but I was hoping that was not the case and that they'd actually make the food fresh. I was wrong. It was evident that the spicy General Tso's combination special ($8.25) that I ordered came directly from the buffet, as it was cold by the time that I arrived to pick it up. Food didn't taste bad at all, but if you're in the mood for FRESH food, head elsewhere. I just think that it is a bit deceiving because when you order individual items from most buffets, they will actually make them fresh for you. Unfortunately, that is not the case here.

the food was p good ngl it's quite authentic for an asian buffet in north america the sushi was honestly better than i expected but i know my stomach is going to hurt later because i ate some sushi with raw fish that had been sitting out at room temperature under some lights so do with that information what u will it's like a better panda express + sushi + an obscure hibatchi section in the back

Very good customer service and kind employees, normally at buffets you don't get such kind workers since other locations are normally more involved behind the scenes but everyone that works here is amazing. The food is also awesome and very good. I recommend the Mayo shrimp for shrimp lovers! The ambiance is also very nice and friendly, and it's very reasonably priced at about $20 per person for the entire buffet including the sushi bar!

Just by the looks of it and the area, it automatically gives you a shaking head vibe but it's actually not bad. It's a smaller buffet version of a Teppenyaki buffet. So I will say the best area of this buffet is the Sushi! It is made very beautifully and they don't use too much rice as you see in other buffets. And they make creative shapes and flavor wise is good! They offer raw rolls and fully cooked rolls. All other stuff is normal buffet foods. Something about that spinach dressed salad with mandarin oranges, I always get it and it's a nice somewhat healthy food compared to all the junk I eat there. Price is around $9/10 for lunch, can't remember but very cheap! The floors can get slippery so be careful. The servers are nice and remove your plates on time when you are finished.

I wish I could give half stars cause this place deserves a solid AND A HALF stars! This is perhaps the best hibachi buffet I've ever been to. The space is really clean, spacious and the service is friendly. I was very nervous about eating here but once I saw how clean the inside is I was at ease with the dining here. There is a nice broad selection at this establishment. There are five stations and a hibachi bar. I was impressed that the selection included baby octopus; these folks have covered all the bases. The food itself was just ok. As I've mentioned in other hibachi Buffett reviews, I suppose that it's hard for everything to be good when there is so much to make taste good. The ingredients that I had prepared over the hibachi grill were prepared well and tasted good. The value redeemed the quality of the food. The cost for two for dinner for the buffet was $25. Would I return? Yeah, but only if I was pinching pennies or didn't want the chore of having to cook.

Delicious food, great selection and friendly staff

The menu is limited. We got the Mapo tofu mazemen, which is this brothless ramen with a Mapo tofu blend, mushrooms, eggplant, tofu, and doubanjian blended together. I wish we could see some of the distinct ingredients alone besides the tofu as it was a bit too blended for me. I liked how unique this ramen was!! The chicken karaage basket had the most addicting trio of sauces - yuzu mayo, nori ranch; and honey mustard. The yuzu mayo was so light and citrusy, and I could practically drink the nori ranch. The fries were shoestring and perfectly crispy. The issue lies in the chicken karaage - it almost felt burnt, and it was quite dry inside. The chicken age gyoza were yummy. I did love the crispness and the tangy kamikaze dipping sauce! Service is efficient!

Cream cheese - typical but kind of small Chicken Katsu- crunch outside and not dry inside Ramen- from the presentation, does not look creamy. It also did not taste creamy. Doesn't have the typical tonkotsu ramen taste I've had before. Broth is a little bland. The pork belly is basically pork belly and not the typically ramen chashu pork I'm used to. It was a disappointing bowl of ramen. Sushi- presentation wise, does not look fancy. The plating looks like what you would get at an all you can eat place. Per husband, it was decent good. As for me, based on ramen, I would not go back for that. Maybe next time I will give sushi a try but not sure if it's a god back to place. If you want $5 appetizers, it's worth a try. Drinks: The Last Samurai cocktail & the Imposter Among Us mocktail were both delightful. Love the unique drink options, and the two we had were executed beautifully. Sushi: Unfortunately, the sushi was a bit disappointing. We had the hotate yuzu, Suzuki oshizushi, tamago nigiri, and the futomaki. The rice was unfortunately undercooked, and also too lightly seasoned. The tamago was alright, the futomaki was very good though. Dessert: The yuzu custard - one of my favorite desserts I've eaten in a long time. Definitely the best thing we had and I would absolutely get it again. Service: Our service was pretty good. I did watch one of the other servers grab soup spoons by the part you eat from and then bring them to a table which was concerning. The sake flight was great with some generous pours but I was disappointed in the mocktails. The rolls were delicious, albeit a bit basic. The onigiri was great and I was a huge fan of the salmon but the tuna just wasn't hitting for me. This was, without a doubt, the best sushi and service I have ever experienced…read more I enjoy new experiences. Before Saturday I had never heard of Omakase. For those of you reading this that are in that boat, it is well worth it. Omakase is a five-course sampler of the best sushi they have to offer. Calling it a sampler does a disservice to the artistry and mastery of the craft that to a very select few is sushi. Bask (I hope I spelled that right) is one such master. My buddy and I came in for a fun visit to the Twin Cities. On an impulse, he suggested sushi, and my instinct was to check Yelp. I'm glad I did. We sat at the bar after a short wait, where we met Emma. Emma is a bringer and friendly bar tender who happens to love sushi. We read through the menu and saw that Omakase had a whole page devoted to it. Emma let us know that the chef and cook staff dismantle whole fresh fish frequently, ensuring their fish meets their high standard. That one fact made the decision easy. I wish I had taken pictures of the food. You'll have to take my word for it that each serving was a work of art, some in their simplicity, others arranged with delicate touches of culinary flair. Without pictures of the dishes, the best I can do are two examples. The first course was three different cuts from the same ahi tuna, featuring the leanest portion, a medium portion and a fatty portion of the same fish. Having fresh fish and experiencing such variety from the same animal was eye opening. The other example was the uni. Both of us had tried it at other establishments and neither of us recalled our respective experiences fondly. Here, the flavor and texture was what I was told I should expect with uni. If I had known it was part of the meal before ordering, I probably wouldn't have gone with it. Now, I'm open to having it again, and if it's here I'll enjoy it again. The meal was perfectly portioned for my buddy and myself to feel full, but not stuffed. The flavors and textures were perfect. Words fail to reach the feelings invoked. We may have just been ruined on sushi. I eagerly await my next trip to your beautiful city, if only to visit Billy Sushi again.

I will admit, it's a bit too fancy for me sometimes. And the price matches. But it has been a delightful and delicious dining experience both times, so who am I to complain? I really want to come back and do the omakase sometime. -Cocktails: They have this whole big explanation about how they take special care in the curation of their cocktails, and I have to say, they are pretty great. I got the Party Girl this last time and it was good but pretty boozy. The gold flak on the top of it was a bit over the top for me, but whatever. My friend got the Raspberry Beret, which was delicious and obviously appropriately themed for Minneapolis and being down the street from First Ave. The restaurant also has an impressive selection of sake, Japanese beer, etc. -Apps: We love the yuzu tuna and have gotten it both times. This last time we also got the salmon carpaccio, which was also delicious. I love age dashi tofu, and this version was good - but not the best (Oragimi has a better one). We found the broth to be delicious, but the one big chunk of tofu was a bit unwieldy, and the coating was a bit gummy. I would pass on that one next time. -Sushi-wise: Nigiri are amazing here - delicious, perfectly cut fish, generous portions, rice that is often still warm. No complaints. For rolls, we love the Big Blue Wave and the Toro Mania. We also ordered the Fancy & Furious, which was less delicious to me but still pretty tasty. Service both times was totally fine - nothing exceptional but nothing to complain about either. I am sure we'll be back.
