The worst experience ever. The food is less then mediocre. Its a chain restaurant... But it was either bland or burnt. The wings were okay but just to let everyone know the wings and chicken tenders are the SAME. The server was awful. Well ours was awful. All the other waitress were fine and attentive to all customers. I regret not getting her name since i dont thin other servers should get bad reviews. From out appetizer to meal had to wait while other tables who came later were getting the food. Had to wait over 15minutes just to get our payment processed and not by ours but the manager. Such a great atmosphere. Employees are so nice and patient. Love it here, I will never stop coming here, it's great. But, it is certainly not extraordinary. I love the 99. This was the worst experience I've ever had there. The waitress Erin was terrible. Inattentive and hard to find. I watched a couple come in a few minutes after us, get drinks and popcorn before Erin even showed up. Then she didn't take the order right. She didn't give a shit and it showed. Food and service here is very good. The only problem I found at this location was that they played the music so loud throughout the entire restaurant, it was deafening. This was at 1:00 in the afternoon. I asked the server if she would turn it down and she asked the manager and he said NO. She had to turn it down herself. I applaud the server for doing it herself, but was shocked to hear the manager actually say NO to a customer request. Not cool. read more

You can usually judge a restaurant by their Saturday night dinner rush. I was at the Ninety Nine with a friend and her two nieces last night. We arrived at 7PM, prime family dinner time. We called ahead and even though the place was mobbed, we only waited about six minutes for our table. Our server, Arthur, could not have been more delightful. Even after we got our meals he checked back several times to make sure we were enjoying everything and to see if we needed anything else. Fantastic Ninety Nine dining experience! Try it out the next time you are in the neighborhood and ask to be seated in Arthur's section. The wedge salad was especially good too. read more

The best boneless buffs ever....and margarittas too. They used to have a good boneless buff salad, but they had to go reinvent it like so many other things on thier menu....i dont know why they feel they needed to mess with perfection, but it's thier loss. For a chain, the 99 isn't so bad. This bar has a funny crowd. There are Bridgewater families eating there, Bridgewater townies drinking there, and Bridgewater State College kids having some beers there. The only two items worth eating here are the BBQ Turkey Tips, and the Gold Fever Wings boneless chicken wings. Other than that it's just crappy fried foods. They keep it clean, and are good about getting you in and out, which is nice if you're just there for a quick lunch. The only time I choose this place over The Riv, is when I want the Turkey Tips. read more

Not a bad 99 . Been here a few times and the food and the staff have always been great . The bartender on saturdays seems to know her regulars and is fast and attentive to everyone. The place can get busy at times so there might be alittle wait but it isnt a long wait. Id recommend the turkey tips there excellent. read more

The wife and I come here about once a month now. We had a bad day out, getting mad at one another and came here at 11pm for a bite to eat and a last ditch effort at fixing the day. Arthur, the server, saved the whole day. Now I go and request him specifically, but the whole staff is great. What can I say? Reliable, affordable neighborhood food when you need to feed yourself or your family instead of cooking at home. Not exactly a destination for a relaxing night out or treating yourself. Waitstaff can vary from great to awful. Steaks used to be good here, but lately have been leathery and fatty. Avoid the steaks until somebody tells you they've improved. Managers here aren't afraid to jump in and fix problems or hand out coupons to keep you happy. read more

Recently moved to Bridgewater and couldn't find a restaurant that was open past 9:30pm on Valentines Day and stumbled upon Pub 99. I was a bit hesitant, thinking of the stigma that goes with these chain restaurants, but I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to this establishment. We were greeted by great staff and they had a musician playing Beatles songs on the acoustic near the bar. Menu is dirt cheap; probably the cheapest Valentines dinner I've ever paid for. Horrible with To Go orders and process. I knew this from prior experiences but I thought I would give it another try. I normally walk in to pick up my order but I had my dog with me so I did the curbside. I pulled up and waited several minutes and no one came out, then of course a 2nd car pulls up...waiting more still no one comes out, now a 3rd car pulls up. I sat for almost 10 minutes before anyone came out. Finally a girl comes out and then gets my payment but also the other 2 cars. Then at least another 10 minutes go by and the person appears with all 3 orders. Just as a reference I ordered my food 20 min before i arrived. Waited curbside parkinf spot for 20 min. Not sure how this curbside saved time. On my way home I called and asked to speak with a manager and they didnt seem to care. Just kept telling me that they were just trying to get all the cars orders ready before bringing them out....that didn't make me feel better. Sure the person that pulled up 10 min after me was happy as they only had to wait half the time. There was no mention that they would review the process and try to improve it. Just kept saying we are a really busy carryout location....that would have been nice to be told while I sat there waiting for my food....a little update would have been nice. Or maybe mention if you are in a hurry wait inside to get it because we are short staffed and help people inside before curbside. I got home 10 minutes after getting my food and it was cold...nothing like enjoying cold fish for dinner. I want to say I will try it again...but I will say the same thing happened to me over 2 years ago so it won't change. That time I waited inside for my food and let them know I was waiting...finally had to ask of my food had come up and then they checked the bags and the one that had been brought up 20 min later was actually mine. read more

Usually the 99 is a great family place to go to with my friends. But unfortunately my night, and possibly my week was ruined by this dinner. I was extremely disappointed by service and time it took to seat us and make our food. The food ended up being over cooked, cold, and very subpar. Out waiter brought the incorrect sides and drinks all throughout the meal. The television was presenting a show which was not family orientated, as a matter of fact it was extraordinarily violent. Our checks had incorrect items on them. It seemed as if every moment I was in the restaurant , I was driven to want to tip less and less every second. Just there spent $76 six members of my family food aweful, waitress awesome not her fault. My Swiss cheeseburger had hairs in it and the rest of the food was a minus 2 to say the least. Food was great, luckily the woman who brought it out was nice to get us WATER. First we sat at the bar and order food and drinks. We were served popcorn and no drink only just to choke. Then the food came and we kindly asked this woman for some water, only for our waitress to realize she forgot about us as she chose to flirt with the guys down by the other side of the bar.
