Recommend not eating here, I was served a piece of raw chicken and the manger came out and told he it's fine. Didn't offer me a replacement or a refund.

Ordered the Colossal Lobster Roll & Balsamic Salmon. Both were very tasty ! Mango Mai Tai was delicious. Free house popped popcorn while we waited was a little too salty. Server was friendly and helpful with explaining the ingredients in the food.

Great little family restaurant in Salem. Had my first lobster roll here (lol, I know). We are vacationing in Boston and Portland and I got hungry on the way in between. They so far is setting the bar for best lobster roll.

Great service and boneless wings were delicious!! Stopped in to watch a little football and beers! Perfect dot even with the craziness with Covid capacity rules! Thank you!!!

The food was okay. Ordered the boneless chicken wings and nachos and they were what I was expecting. The service was great though. They changed the TVs to the NBA playoff game that night for me and created a new dish that wasn't on the menu; combined the New Orleans Shrimp dish as the topping to the nachos. If the chicken was cut smaller they might have received a solid 4 stars but they way they chicken was set up, it would've broke the strongest nacho. Cut way to big. Overall 3.5/5 great service from "Joe" and the 99. 4 stars cuz I can't do half stars.

I come here every week because my friends enjoy the Trivia Thursdays and Questionary on Wednesdays. I come here to be with my friends but I have tried some food and drinks. I've ordered the 49 cent bone-in wings in hot with bleu cheese. I've ordered the rustic chicken sandwich which I was really surprised that I didn't like it since I like all of the ingredients. Not enough chicken and too much confusion with the seasoning. I've ordered the Bruschetta Chicken and it was okay but the rice was not. I really like the chicken fingers and chicken parmesan. The bartenders are great especially Ryann Kelcie and Becca. My friend recommended the Towering Midnight Fudge Cake dessert and it was good--for the first 3 bites. Then it was too much. They should make a smaller version. Too overwhelming, definitely not for just one person. Now for Stump! Trivia, it's difficult because it's very clique-y, and the same people win all the time. The DJ that runs it is nice but has weird music choices, says he takes requests. His personality is okay. Archie who runs the Questionnary is laid back and has a much better attitude. I like that he includes the bartenders in this game and sits at the bar so it's more inclusive. This game is more like Family Feud. He's very engaging.

Service was great. Food was solid. We customized the nacho adding chicken and grilled shrimp and it still came out okay... The atmosphere was nice at the bar with Joe (bartender) giving us company and staying on top of things. I'd rate the full experience and food a 3.5 but I'll give them a 4 for the benefit. Can't forget about the free popcorn

This meal speaks for itself. The mocha dessert you give your free children's meal is all caffeine. When the red Sox win your kids go. Bonkers all night.

Their bloody Mary's are huge compared to other places and really good.

The bloody Mary's are great and much bigger than most places. I've dined here a few times over the past couple of years. My sister who plays Trivia at the 99 every week, mostly at the Danvers location has brought me back something every Thursday. Yes, I have eaten food here close to every week for the past few years. It is hit or miss depending on what I order and how long it takes to get here. The fish tacos are excellent and is so is the fried chicken plate. Their ground sirloin dish and steak tips are hit or miss even when eaten fresh on the premises. Today I ordered a Turkey Club with fries. Definitely a hit. The Bloody Marry s are twice the size as other restaurants and are $7 a piece. The service is always good.

if i could give a zero rating i wouldn't i would not even give them the satisfaction of being on the board they should receive a negative score. i ordered a steak medium well, and it came to my table purple and cold. the included mashed potatoes were also stone cold. my party also ordered a salad, and it came with cheese which was not ordered. another member of my party ordered the chicken parm and most of it was slimy and cold. when we asked for our meals to be fixed, our waitress gave us dirty looks and was not very nice. i've never been a huge fan of the ninety nine and this just confirmed the fact that i will never return to this location. very disapointed.

My wife ordered their award winning espresso martini. She said it was perfect! One of the best, so give it another award lol! The clam chowder is probably one of the best things on the menu!! For food, we shared the Nachos, Clam Chowder and Whipped Feta. Everything was really good including the drinks. I wish we would have either ordered more food to try or came back for another meal. I loved the vibe and interior of The Tavern - it was spooky and old timey. You could see and feel the history of this hotel and it was awesome to experience. The dining room had a bunch of tables, but did not feel overcrowded. The Tavern is a great place to grab a drink and relax. It would also make great for a romantic date night. I also loved that the lobby was decorated with a bunch of pumpkins. Staff were also very friendly and attentive! I would absolutely come back here the next time we are in town! Check them out - you won't be disappointed!

I have read many good bings for Champion's steak tips. It is a local spot or bar…read more Beers on draft I ordered nice and cold. I ordered the steak tips and my only complaint if I was to have one was the limited options for the side. It was onion rings or rice . It came with a salad that was lame ... I'd drop the salad for a veggie or sauteed onions and grilled black green peppers . I ordered onion rings and excellent onion rings. I really wanted cream spinach, garlic spinach or mashed, or baked potato or corn , carrots anything? Grilled garlic green beans even better with my tips . Now, the steak tips are real deal tender , nice teriyaki I think was marinade . Huge portion in terms of lbs of steak tips . Nice char from grill on tips. All very good . Better to serve an option steak tips, grilled onions and grilled green peppers, mashed potato, grilled beans ,a single hot roll ... like a Santarpios option they offer peppers But, I get it... if it is working... why change... These tips are Massachusetts high ranking .
