Recently we visited The Yard House at Market Street in Lynnfield while helping family relocate from Pensacola. After a long, grueling three-day trip, this dining experience was exactly what we needed. The Bavarian Pretzel and Four Cheese Spinach Dip held up well for a party of seven. Various entrees made the rounds -- the Stacked Turkey Club and Classic Sliders stood out. Our server deserves special mention, even though exhaustion cost me his name -- and that genuinely bothers me. His enthusiasm was unmistakable, and he went out of his way to engage our granddaughters, asking about their interests and offering recommendations to help them get comfortable in their new hometown. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare. We don't make a habit of chains, but this one earned the exception. read more

We came here late the other night. So I was surprised to still see so many people there. The staff are very friendly. We sat at the bar. Lots of beers on tap, cocktails, mocktails, canned NA beers, wine, spirits, etc. the food menu options were just as plentiful. It wasn't bright inside, but also not dark...perfect amount of lighting. Lots of seating at the bar, high tops, booths, patio. TVs all around and music playing. Food came out quick and was very tasty. Have never been to any of the Yard Houses - always thought it was just like a nicer 99... Was out with a gf and we needed to go to the Market so we said we'd just stop in. The menu has lots of options, lots of apps, lots of things, just lots... Too much to choose from so we ordered it all... First off our server, I think Megan, or Monica - something with an M... she was kick ass! I love a good convo with a server where they dont just come off shytty - and she was great! Got a bunch of apps, and not sure if because of the night, because of the weather (it has snowed all week - we cant function here apparently when it snows, LOL) But most of the food wasnt as hot as I would have loved... Either they werent all ready together and they held off on bringing or they keep ready to go & warm as needed, I dont know - but it would have been nice if it was a little hotter... The soup was hot and OMG was it delish... Like good, good! The spinach was delish as well - we just ordered too many things (as usual) will def plan to go back with the hubby so we can try some of the entrees... I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to grab a quick bite to eat. Yard House sits amongst the cluster that is MarketStreet in Lynnfield. I was easily able to get a spot at the bar. Yard House bills itself as the "world's largest selection of draft beer" and although I cannot independently verify that, they did have a vast selection of beers and ciders on draft. I went with Woodchuck's pineapple cider (they were out of the Woodchuck blueberry cider) and it was great. For food, I ordered the kurobuta pork burger that features Snake River Farms Berkshire pork, spicy candied bacon, white American cheese, arugula, and house-made blueberry ketchup. For $2 extra I upgraded from the house fries to onion rings. The seeded roll for the burger was great and the pork was juicy and flavorful. The blueberry ketchup was such a good take on the classic condiment. The onion rings were a nice change from the traditional fries but overall were just average in taste. The server was friendly and attentive. Overall, I would definitely return to Yard House to try some of their wide selection of beers on tap and fun food items on the menu. read more

First to start....the Food and presentation was very impressive and freshly made and tasty! It arrived promptly but as much as I like this location the Hostess when we checked in just sent us in the enclosed porches area that was uncomfortably noisy and extremely loud and crammed us between 2 Tops when a lot of 4 Tops had 2 guests. When walked in to use the rest room the inside was sparse with guests even at the Bar area WAS MUCH MORE A COMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE THAN WHERE WE WERE SEATED! "HINT", to the Managers on duty...have your Hostess FIRST ASK IF THEY PREFER TO EAT IN DOORS WHICH WAS QUIETER OR IN THE MIDDLE OF CHAOS THE PORCH AREA....EXAMPLE : Our Waitress even though pleasant was basically not around or very attentive forgot and waiting for check had to ask another waitress to pay and leave... I'm sure she did her Best but if we ate inside our experience would have been much more enjoyable and relaxed. The Kitchen was excellent but our experience was abit less eventful! It should start with Better Hostess or Greeters! I think I will think twice this Summer on before returning! Food was Amazing this time! I've been here a bunch of times and my experiences are mixed. Sometimes we get great service - friendly waitstaff and quick service. And other times, like today, it's a mess. It was me and my daughter (12 yo) there for her birthday and when I ordered myself a margarita and a water, I motioned for my daughter to pick something like one of their lemonades. She started looking but the waitress seemed not to know what to do. Despite making eye contact with her, she suddenly just left. Didn't say she'd be back or give us a minute, just left. She came back with my drinks, so I gave the water to my daughter. We ordered and my daughter's pizza came out super quick & she said my tacos would be out in a moment. That moment turned into many and by the time my food came out my daughter was done eating. She did say thanks for being patient, but really? My daughter had time to eat an entire pizza before my food came, and that's a big miss. Her Margherita pizza was ok. Instead of sliced tomatoes she had halved grade tomatoes which was a little weird, but fine enough. My tacos were not great. They tasted fine but the Birria taco wasn't complete with the toppings and both were super tiny. We were asked about getting dessert or another drink but by the time I was done eating we were both ready to move on. read more

Very very loud, and dim. Food was decent, not exceptional. The guacamole had non uniform spice, all the jalapeño was at the bottom. Drinks were good, pretzel and beer cheese was good but not out of this world. We liked that they had vegan wings a lot! These are not imitation wings so be ready for a tofu like or seitan consistency. Service was spectacular. It just blows me away that this chain is owned by the same company as Olive Garden when the food is not even in the same hemisphere. They are easily my favorite chain restaurant and the one we frequent most often. Olive Garden it is NOT. I think the one and only complaint about YH can be the wait at times. Don't go at 6:30 on a Friday night expecting to be seated in under 15 minutes. But hey if a place is this popular, it's for good reason. I'll probably have three photos up of the seared ahi tuna sandwich, DONT CARE, I'll post it 100 times if I need to. I don't know what it is about the tuna here but the ahi nachos are a must go to also, they do fishy very very well. My only issue with the food here and it isn't even mine personally is that my son is not a big fan of the mac n cheese on the kid's menu. Why? Because it's TOO flavorful. My wife and I end up eating over half of it, a three cheese blend and I can taste a hint of garlic. It's very delicious and not something a toddler is used to. Oh, and always upgrade to the truffle fries. I don't care if they increase the price to $5 per order, there is no other way to do it here and don't even @ me about it. Where to start about the beer selection. If you like it, they probably have it. The tap room itself is usually on display and man is it glorious. Get up and walk around sometime. Look up. Look behind the glass where all the kegs lie, it is truly a sight to behold even if you're not a drinker. And yes, you can get a "yard" glass, they even give you the background history on how they came to be in the lobby (I won't ruin it here). For ambiance, you're always greeted with your favorite 80s and 90s groups and some TV's carry the music videos, they know how to get to my demographic well. YH isn't over the top or campy like a lot of other chains can be, simply trying too hard. The Yard House did not disappoint. We were seated outside within 5 minutes on a busy Thursday night. The hostess was very friendly. Our waiter, Justin, was attentive, knowledgeable, and had a good sense of humor. We couldn't choose between two appetizers, so we took Justin's suggestion and ordered the fried calamari. It was more than enough for two people. The food presentation was amazing. For dinner, my hands husband ordered the chicken sandwich. An ample sandwich that was great for dinner. My husband usually doesn't order sandwiches for dinner, but he was very satisfied with his choice. I ordered the locally brewed cider, within was light and refreshing for the humid night. For dinner, I ordered the "small" kobb salad with grilled chicken. Again, the presentation was amazing! The veggies were grouped in sections; carrots, radishes, edamame, avocado, grilled corn, and the hard boiled egg around a bed of lettuce with the grilled chicken placed on top. The chicken was crispy and juicy. My only critique is that a "small" salad is still a big! Maybe offer a "mini" size? read more

This is very popular place among all age groups. We came on Friday night and it was almost full. We luckily got our seats. Ambience is great, dim light and sports screen kind of space. We ordered few drinks and appetizers. In drinks, blue martini was good. Other one did not taste great and they took the feedback and took it off the bill. Edamame was great, we went for spicy one. We added veg burger and thai pork chop for dinner and both turned out to be good. Sides were sweet potato fries and surprisingly it came with maple syrup. That surely was first for me. This location had an opening posted for a server position. When I first spoke with a female manager, she told me they were only looking for part-time help. which was exactly what I was seeking, and she offered me an interview. The interview experience itself was disappointing. The male manager who interviewed me arrived 15 minutes late, even though I arrived five minutes early. He went through the full interview, including questions about my availability, which is completely open. After completing the entire interview, he then told me they had no openings, despite the job being posted online and them scheduling me for an interview. I do not recommend applying here. We were lucky enough to be seated in their dark and moody "outdoor" space, which is covered for the winter. Alina was a fantastic server. She made sure to check in accordingly and her presence was never over-bearing. She was extremely patient with us and allowed us space and time to relax without rushing us out even though it was a busy Friday night. We went for half-priced apps before 6p (3-6 M-F) and everything was fabulous. I would recommend going a little lighter on the sauce that the Tuna Tataki comes in, or just requesting it dry. It was too sweet for my liking. Everything else was fantastic. Will definitely be back for the truffle mushroom pizza again, which has a slight zing to it! read more

March 28, 2026. Wait wasn't bad for a Saturday at 6pm. However exceptionally loud, very dark, heat was off. Service was ok, Margarita was watered down in a 8oz glass with to much ice. Appetizer of Chicken Nacho's was good. Then the service got slow, took a while to get our food, which came undercooked. Rice was hard and crunchy and burger was raw. We left those on the plate, got the waiter and asked for a second drink took longer than usual he kept looking at our table as he made his other rounds. Finally got the 2nd round spoke up about the raw food. He stated the manger would take it off the bill. Only to find out yeah he took the burger off but not the rice and added the appetizer from the table next to us who had already left. Once we sat down, we ordered the sliders and the boneless wings. Our server was very nice but once we but in our order, we barely saw him again. The wings were very sodium heavy, so I wouldn't recommend them. The sliders were a little dry, but would get again. They came with 4, which was actually a lot of food. The fries were okay, very heavily salted. There were a lot of people standing around the bar watching the bruins game, so it felt very lively. I have to say, I've been pretty disappointed with yardhouse lately. What used to make their menu so unique now seems so gimmicky. Now their only good items and typical bar foods. Pat must have been bartending her whole life. One of my favorite parts of writing my review is shouting out the employees that go above and beyond and make the establishment what it is. I was waiting for a table, so once in the bar for a drink, that's where I met Pat. The first thing she did was place menus in front of us, ask us what we needed, and serve her so I drink quickly and fast. Wrote her name on the coaster, which I loved because he introduced herself to us. I really loved that because I made it a personable experience. Traveled to Boston for a family get together and we decided to have dinner at the Yard House. Turned out to be a good choice for us. We got a last minute seating reservation for 14, so they ended up splitting us into two groups back to back in booths, which worked out fine since we segregated ourselves by generation...lol. The location itself is in an outdoor shopping plaza with a somewhat odd parking lot. The streets are one way so if you miss a parking spot you have to go ALL THE WAY AROUND. Other than spotty parking the rest of the experience was outstanding. Our server tended to us all evening taking drink and food orders. If you're a beer drinker, they have yard glasses, hence the name Yard House. I ended up with a whiskey and coke. For dinner, I got the Nashville hot chicken with a side of grilled veggies. I have to say the spice was spot on and the chicken was moist and tender. Couldn't have asked for better cooked chicken. At the end of the evening, the server was kind enough to even separate our checks into SEVEN. With the great service and food, we tipped her well. As for those who are into sports, there is a nice bar area with large screen TVS sprinkled throughout the restaurant.
